In my yard, I put out peanuts for the Stellar's Jays and sunflower seeds for the invasive gray squirrels. The latter have somehow learned that my yard is a deadly place to visit, so I haven't seen any here since Spring. They seem to communicate with each other about no go zones.

I'm sure the Songbird community must be jumping with joy, now that they raise their young in peace and have a much better chance of them seeing adulthood. The trees will be happy, too. Yes an early Sunday morning is not my usual posting day because long term followers may know my usual day is a Friday, but that will still continue as normal. As for the silencer it was customised by @lsduk. I told him what I wanted and he shortened, cerakoted, laser engraved and re-threaded the silencer. If you’re after any custom work then he is the man to contact. Thanks as always Ian.

Excellent shots. Should you wait until you have the food in your hands to take the shot? Otherwise the shot can be missed due to the gray squirrel's random movements? Excellent work

But it is designed for the cal .177, it has only a 5mm bore so it is to small for the cal. 22. Also, what thread is at the end of the barrel? Mine is a 1/2" UNF, ist the thread on the cal.22 larger in diameter?

Squirrel tastes like squirrel. Sorry that's the only explanation. It's not a strong taste like venison or beef, but it's not as bland as chicken for example.

The feeder was filled and left for about 3 weeks before shooting. I use a 2 man Menimal pop up hide.

Good shot, but just a quick question, why are they shooting dead, do they cause damage, for example.
Yes the grey squirrel cause damage to trees, are non native and a threat to the native red squirrel an local songbird populations.

Yes. They’re very fidgety and unpredictable but sit completely still when they have a peanut.

The silencer is the standard one which comes with it but I had it cut down to make it shorter. It was then cerakoted and laser engraved.

I use EagleVision adapters but they also do a dovetail mount now.

Your hw100 looks very different from what ive seen. Where the weihrauch branding is, and no hull cartridge.
It has been cerakoted with some other customised work done to it.
