Ryan has a really nice voice. I think because he's a lot more known as an actor, many of us forget that he was from the last era of the Mickey Mouse Club days, where there were many talented kids there that we know about today that could sing and Ryan was one of them. So seeing him bringing those vocals back for this performance was really good to see. Thanks for reviewing it, Jaron.
This is by far the most fun, most entertaining Oscar performance i have ever seen. I don't really care if it was "good", it was so so fun. I love how unserious Ryan is. He had to stop himself from laughing mulitple times. It was absolutly perfect in my opinion.
This performance stole the Oscars. Love how Billie Eilish and Margot Robbie were trying to keep the laughter under control at the start. Thanks for breaking it down!
Easily one of those Oscars moments that will be in Pop culture history we’ll watch back 50 yrs from now. Genius nod to the Marilyn Monroe Diamonds are a girls best friend with the set, the stairs, and the pink suit and black suit dancers and blonde fragility ❤😂 It’s so beautiful and interesting to see you break down everything technically. You’re amazing
Yes! And on that final “Ken” he has no musical back-up. He’s all alone up there in that second. That’s such a scary situation for anyone who’s not 100% sure of their own voice. But Ryan is, and he absolutely killed it. 👏👏👏
Jaron, I thoroughly enjoy watching how excited you get when you are analyzing the performances by the performers. Jaron I would love to hear you sing one of your favorite songs. Please make it happen. This is a request please. I'm going to keep watching until it happens.❤
I liked the performance alot but you are so talented also, just wow. You sang those parts like he did. That and your knowledge brought you a new subscriber :D
Great review! Your explanation of his enunciations is what's makes one feel this performance! It's soooooo believable! Outstanding performance! A true professional on so many levels!
Initially I didn't recall the fact that Ryan was on the Mickey Mouse Club back in the day. I knew about Britney and Christina though. I was in the choir at a church years ago. The pastor once said that he had been in the choir when he was a little boy. But when he went through puberty his voice changed. And he wasn't able to sing like he once could. I remember hearing Usher speak on his experience with that as well. Which isn't something that I hear a lot of men speak on. However I'm sure they've experienced it. So it's good to know that Ryan is still able to sing and I think he did a great job.
…watched his video numerous times… he is very entertaining and love how he just did it so effortlessly… loved your ‘take’ on it all as well.. but was my comment is about that ART wall behind you… would love to see it close up of it… looks fabulous…
This performance reminds me of the line in Black Swan the French ballet teacher had when he watched Mila Kunis’s character when he describes her as being “imprecise but natural and effortless - she’s not faking it”.
Adorei a sua explicação sobre o performance do Ryan Gosling. Foi a mais pontual para mim, levando em consideração o talento e a criatividade que ele fez ao interpretar o personagem Ken. Uma apresentação impecável, fantástico, o cara é bom.
When Ryan made La La Land, he did his own piano playing. AND HE ONLY TOOK HIM THREE MONTHS TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY. The director thought they’d need a hand double, but no. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a tour de force, go check it out.
It's not unusual for actors and actresses to possess, acquire, and manifest multiple talents throughout their lives. While not every singer can act, almost every actor can sing or at the very least hold a tune much better than the average person. Even untrained, inexperienced actors tend to have decent singing voices - so it's not surprising that an actor as experienced as Ryan Gosling would reveal that he possesses some vocal chops. Loved your analysis as usual, Jaron! #Kenergy
He doesn't just possess vocal chops, he's famously been performing (singing and dancing) since childhood! He was in the same group of people on the 90s Mickey Mouse Club to produce Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera! This was literally him returning to his roots, which is why he knocked it so far out of the park I'm not sure the ball has come back to earth just yet :D
Nice video. Yes Ryan can do it all. Sing act dance and he's Canadian. When is that barbie the 🎶 musical coming out. Who will play ken. Who will play barbie. Great opportunities. 😊😊
Now we just need Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, Anne Hathaway, and Gal Gadot to appear in a Barbie sequel, with Emma Stone as Barbie’s best friend Midge who’s in love with Ryan’s Ken, and Cillian Murphy as Human Ken in the real-world, who’s Sasha’s (Ariana Greenblatt) teacher, and the love interest of Margot’s human stereotypical Barbie (Barbara Handler) in a Barbie sequel whenever Greta and Margot are planning on doing it right after when Greta gets done filming Chronicle of Narnia on Netflix. I DO hope that the original actors like America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Will Ferrell, Kingsley Ben-Adir (who also played Raggae singer Bob Marley in Bob Marley: One Love) Scott Evans, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Cera, Dua Lipa, and John Cena (Mermaid Ken) appear in the sequel too. Also, I think they should bring back Mark Ronson to compose and write more songs for the sequel (probably make it a musical this time) and probably for a Ken movie and Allan spin-off. We definitely need a musical broadway. Let’s start a petition!
@@jmlegrairstudio so my hoodie arrived today. It smelled like vinegar, so I washed it. I probably shouldn't have dried it. My sleeves are too short, but I have a long wing span. 🤷🏿♂️🤣

He's also a great dancer
@@lc3150 Yes, that's true. He is.
Yup he's another one of those old school Disney triple threats.
The Mickey Mouse Club never went away. It’s on streaming.
He’s also in a band lmaooo, and actually sings and tours and stuff

As somebody who's deaf and so had NO idea what the song or Ryan's voice sounded like this was super helpful for me! 😊
The "can you feel the Kenergy" was giving major Power Rangers theme songs vibes 😂
I've been trying to find a way to describe it and that's exactly it 😂
It’s an anthem
I like the '80s rock opera of it all.
This performance stole the Oscars. Love how Billie Eilish and Margot Robbie were trying to keep the laughter under control at the start. Thanks for breaking it down!
Ryan been getting busy on the mic since his MMC days
Yessss...Dead Man's Bones album is my favorite
Exactly, lol. I found myself saying, "Alright, Mickey Mouse Club!" while watching yesterday.
Thank you. Was looking for this comment.

Love Ryan's acting he has s nice voice . Whole package . Thank you Jaron , love you too. ❤
I didn’t watch the Oscars, so I thought I would hate this. And wow, Ryan Gosling has a very nice singing voice.
Brought a whole new appreciation for his singing. He really does have a great singing voice!
This was absolutely fabulous! Ryan’s got it all!
that last I'm just Ken he nailed it. Wow impressive.

Did you know Ryan Gosling made a fantastic goth album with a friend. The band is Dead Man's Bones
I had no idea and now I'm kind of obsessed, thank you 😄
Ryan killed that performance.
You stay on top of the trending performances, you get these turned around quick and they are still high quality, informative and fun! ❤

I admired how he is an actor yet his singing got the whole audience revved up and singing, and on their feet! That takes talent and charisma❤️
Little Mickey Mouse Club Ryan would be so proud of his Adult self. He let that little boy FLY high. In all pink. Hahah, got to love it 😂💕💕
I think Big Guy Ryan wearing pink "MC Hammer pants" would have just topped off the entire performance for Little Boy Ryan ;)

My favorite performance from last night

him and emma stone need another la la land-esk movie 😭✨
80s rock musical coded. I hope they make this a broadway version!
Kissing the hand of the camera operator makes this profound.
Apparently he had also made sure he had the guy's consent to do that, because, you know, he's just that kind of gentleman . ❤

I got my hoodie today.... so excited to wear it. About Ryan... something about his delivery made me think of Neil Diamond....
Yessss! Cmon hoodie! Tag us when you wear it! Thank you so much!
Now that you've mentioned it, I do hear the Neil Diamond in this.
Omg yes!

Man Ryan been singing. He use to eat Jodeci songs up! IYKYK!!!
Really enjoyed your input, very interesting. And yes it was great, inspiring performance.
He is a singer 🙂 his band was Dead man's Bones
Absolutely fascinating technical analysis, thank you
Ryan, who can sing, is doing his version of a style of Rock music. In other words, he’s acting his butt off. Bravo Ryan.
Woah, this was one of the best analyzes I've ever seem! Awesome video just like the performance! :D
Wow! Thank ya!
Oh I enjoyed your take on this performance SOOO much!!!!
My first vid of urs and ABSOLUTELY not my last! A new subscriber, thank u very much😉
This was such a fun video!! I learned so much. Thank you so much!!! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
Great analysis 🎉❤
MMC RISE!!! HE JUST WENT FOR IT THIS WHOLE TIME!! I AM JUST KEN!! 😂🎉

Ryan didn’t win the award, but he won the night.
I appreciated the SpongeBob reference - scarily accurate😂
I did not see the SpongeBob comment coming. Dying!! 😂😂😂
You NEED to analyze Lawrence “Don’t Lose Sight” Acoustic Version

Sooooo he could do some 80s rock ballads then huh? I need someone to do something with that information.

Heyy Jaron, can you react to “ Pray Through “ by Ricky Dillard & New G ???
I need your feelings about Hazbin Hotel
PS. You have a beautiful voice (are you allowed to say that to a man? 😊) and I loved the way you explained how Ryan used his voice. 👍
His voice reminded me a little of Tim Curry in the "Rocky Horror Picture Show." ua-cam.com/video/bc80tFJpTuo/v-deo.html
Hm guessing ,fan of Tracy Chapman.
I think it's hilarious how all the voice teachers are seriously analyzing a performance that was all about the comedy. Sit back and enjoy it!
It's an analysis! Hater!
Plz react to EZ MIL UP DOWN new hip-hop artist tnx..
