Music to my ears sounds absolutely killer great choice on the KC turbos
I got a KC 10-blade on my 6.0. I haven’t turned on my radio since I installed it almost a year ago.
The 05-07 Super-Duty was the sexist truck ever made. I like the 17’ mirrors on your truck. Look better than the 08’-16’ ones.
Naw man the 2008 plus trucks are the most beautiful
Now you have New fan from Puerto Rico. Great job , thanks for the goods videos 💪
I upgraded to the stage 2 a couple month ago. Absolutely love it!
Did you use stock fuel pump or upgraded?
@@brianbonilla9276 stock fuel till I do injectors
What a beautiful sound! And the KC Turbo looks great & easy (comparatively) to instal! Thanks again for all you do making your videos and I look forward to seeing your next video!
instaBlaster...
We love us some KC Turbos!
kc stage one on my truck, with the 13 blade for lower end torque and not so much of a whistle, but im also cammed which seemed to really help my turbo spool at lower rpms.. love kc turbos and even with my mild build stock size injector kc stage 1 turbo and stage 1 cam my 8800lbs truck rips
Chasing your upgrades in our 04. Dang it man, you’re costing me money!!🤪
ryanteter get ready for studs, injectors, and a fuel system! Lol
Thanks... I didn't know I needed the EGR solenoid for the VGT relearn process! Now I have to go spend more money! My solenoid went bye-bye around 2011. But yes, thanks again for the info. Nobody else mentions this in their literature or videos, from what I've seen so far.
Great choice in turbo got the stage 2 on the wife’s truck and she loves it. Can’t wait for more content
In the process of buying an 07 with a kc stage 2 on it. Love that sound man
I'm not new but I subscribed just because of the into.
Dude that KR is sweet. I got an 06 super duty 6.0 f350 just had the oil cooler replaced and ebp sensor which fixed my low boost issues. Ebp is easy to replace I recommend changing at 100 000 miles . My truck was running like shit . I replaced the sensor and is good as new . A super cheap fix. I'm lucky cause I don't have a lot of money now. Lol. The truck is at 110 000 .miles.
I love my KC Stage 2 and deft proper tuning makes it even better. I had canned tunes and it was rather laggy but then got some better tunes and woke her right up!
projector retrofits and Harley grille looking sweet
I like how your KC turbo isn’t screaming, it’s quiet at idle, and only whistles during acceleration. I want to do this, but can’t have it screaming at all times, especially in city limits. Can you share the secret to why yours is like this, and not screaming 24/7 like everybody else’s
I'm a year late, but he has the 13blade turbine in his turbo, the 10blade is the one that absolutely screams, even at idle.
Austin at Turbo Lab America sells this housing compressor and a complete rebuild kit for 522$. Use your stock housing and add 150$ to change to a 10 blade if you have a 13 and you can put this turbo together yourself. Not sure what they mean by "high flow" vgt vanes on the KC . They are all high flow if your VGT system works.
DIY for 522$ or pay KC 1700$ to do it for you.
This is actually incorrect. Look at the specs of what your getting from turbo lab America compared to kc stage 2. The stage 2 kc is a significantly larger turbo. What you are doing is similar to that of kc turbos balanced assembly for your factory turbo.
Hey man, GREAT JOB! I'm looking for a turbo upgrade, this was a great vid. Thanks
Thank you! Use my link in the description please! 💪💪
Sounds good dude💯
Sir when you have it outside your garage and walk in front of the truck there’s a little sound that catches my ear something like a little knock but… might not be a knock
Great job!
Sounds awesome ! What about when running a tune where the vain stays open. Some tunes do that correct ? My vane doesn’t sweep open and closed like stock tune
Some tunes will open the vanes during idle to eliminate the whistle. The stock programming cycles them.
@@LeftLaneDiesels quick question I know this video is kind of old but I just purchesed a stage 2 turbo do I really need to upgrade my turbo feed and drain?
@@lancemosley9508 yea most definitely! Those Ford updates are beneficial and serve a purpose. Use the links in the description of the video.
@@LeftLaneDiesels okay thank you will do
That IS a sexy front end…..
Your bed cover is awesome. Where can I get one like it ?
yeah my 03 mysteriously got welded it learns vgt fine valve is still operational, but I cant get it to complete drive cycle for systems complete i've got a couple different tuning software's one can turn egr off that didn't work and other I'm still learning ive been disabling any possible codes that will kick on like I was getting p0404 put 300 miles since last flash still nada
Beautiful sounding turbo, did you already do injectors or is that in stock injectors? And is it tuned for that turbo?
Still on stock injectors with a factory tube until we stud the truck
@@LeftLaneDiesels how's the powerband and how's it run on stock injectors and the factory tune?
There’s a little lag down low but power comes on good. A good tune would go a long way, these factory tuned trucks are pretty weak.
@@LeftLaneDiesels yeah I want to find a way to wake mine up a little, just studded it a few months ago and I am wishing it had a little more to it
I seen this truck to day at Chick-fil-A
Wisconsin? Sold the truck to a guy up there

Where are you located? I really enjoy your videos and work?
Schaeffers 🤘
That looked so damn easy 😂
New to the 6.0 club. Question, do I need to make any other upgrade to the truck in order to upgrade my turbo? My truck is stock.
Nice video. What air damn is that looks good
Off the 6.4 era of trucks 08-10🤙🏻✌🏻
@Left Lane Diesels I’ve been looking into the stage 1 10 blade and the stage 2 that you run. Are you running stock injectors will it be ok to run on stock injectors?
Absolutely! And it leaves room in the future to upgrade injector sizes! Use my link in the description of the video to buy!
@@LeftLaneDiesels good to hear now Im more leaning towards that since it will work with my injectors thanks!
I just got a 2003 that sounds like this makes me wonder what has been done to it. Also is that some sort of front end conversion? Mine is not stock up front and looks like yours.
The 03 Turbo already had the louder 10 vein stock so they already whistle like crazy
What should the true sound of a turbo be like for a 6.0 powerstroke?
What lip is on the front bumper I have an 07 king ranch with 190/30 holder premiums and kc stage 2 psp oringed heads arp studs etc... on blessed and TSD custom tunes. Now I'm looking to go for some exterior mods
Not picking at the video but you stated it works with stock injectors but their website says the minimum injector for it is 155cc. The stage one says stock. Just wondering as I am looking to upgrade mine, but not injectors.
Great question! The stage 2 is not designed for stock injectors. Although many people run the stage 2 so that in the future they can upgrade their injectors. If you plan to stick with stock injectors I would recommend the stage 1 or 1.5.
Left Lane Diesels : I do plan on stock but still want to stud for peace of mind. Been watching your videos for a bit. I’m in the process of body swapping a 1986 ford onto a 2005 super duty. Donor truck has 123k on it. I’m posting videos but need to decide what all to do to the engine to make it reliable but a bit more power. Thanks for the reply.
Sub’d for more on this king ranch. Can’t wait.
Gotta love the sound of a straight piped 6.0 with a 10 blade.👍🏼👍🏼 where did you get those headlights.. retrofit?
Built them myself!
Left Lane Diesels Ya those headlights match on the grill and that valance are setting the truck off 👌🏼
I was wondering about the headlights myself....disappointed to read he built them bc I want to order them myself(I they're any good)
I just put a Kc stage 2 turbo on my 2006 f250 and when I went to start it up there no
Whistling or anything going on turbo when is turning but no sound at all is it because I didn’t have my EGR plugged in?
A little off topic, however I like the wheel and tire setup? Details please.
20x12 and 33x12.5
That plastic intercooler pipe needs to go had problems they like to split under boost
How much can u tow with the stg 2 kc turbo? Ppl say the kc stg 1 turbo is best for towing.
How much do you tow?
Is your truck a stick shift?
Sounds just like my stock 03
slow6.0 excursion yet performances better. Not to mention the stage 2 can support 600rwhp. Factory 03 maxes around 500.
@@LeftLaneDiesels what size injector do they recommend for a stage 2
slow6.0 excursion 155cc to a 190cc injector. I’m running stock for now but will be upgrading soon!
Sounded awesome
What headlight assembly is that? I need it
What kind of headlights are those?
What side mirrors are those?
Just saw your video. Sounds great. Question. Which KC turbo is best for my 6.0 for more power n torque?
Thanks
Stock injectors? What do you use the truck for?
@@LeftLaneDiesels i have stick injectors. I pull my fifth wheel trailer.
Recently again the wrench symbol on dash board came on. First time pulling up hill with trailer. This time, no trailer just driving steep paved roadway. Per manual, wrench indicated something about lack of fuel. Prior to the wrench symbol coming on, truck made like a jerking stall movement like it was stalling before truck went into limp mode. Research iv done on UA-cam is hard to pin point problem. My truck is scheduled to go into the shop in 2 weeks. Its a 2006 ford.f250 6.0L super duty.
Thanks

Here’s a link for the turbo I would highly recommend!
I generally see the wrench light come on for oil and coolant temp differential out of range. Sounds like you may have a couple things going on.
@@LeftLaneDiesels thanks
Can you get the same drain tube and feed line at the dealership?
Did u have to put studs for the upgrade?
what wheel and tire size is that? Also is it a 2" level or stock height?
Hi can you provide me the part number of the turbo?
Also,
Do You think that turbo that you put on your truck will fit a 2004 F250 6.0?
what brand is your head light?
I saw that the truck had a 6.4 lower valance are those direct fit or easy to install onto a 6.0 front bumper
Easy to install with a couple modifications to the valence. And looks killer when done
What headlights are those??
Very cool work here! But my 6.0 will go through the vein positions while warming up, was wondering if this is normal or is the computer having to relearn the position every time? Any help appreciated!
Great question, so the oem strategy in the computer as well as many aftermarket tunes, will incorporate a vein sweep. This is totally normal and is done to prevent the veins from becoming stuck.
Good stuff! Thanks for the quick response!
Get a obs 7.3 you explain stuff so in detail that I now want a 6.0
Stock engine and stock tune?
does this turbo have a loud whistle in cab at all times? we just put a new impeller and housing on my dads 7.3 and the whistle inside never stops
Yea pretty much a whistle at all time!
How's the lag on the Stage 2 can't decide between 1 or 2?
What’s your injector set up? What do you use the truck for?
@@LeftLaneDiesels stock for now just don't wanna say I should have went bigger down the line
@@lakefxproductions7528 for stock injectors I recommend stage 1, especially if you tow. For guys that may go bigger with injectors in the future and don’t tow then you could go to a stage 2, but yes it will be laggy on stock injectors
Ok what I want to know is do you like the spook of this virus the race truck on daily street truck thing
MaxTheBlack 23 say what?
Random question, what are the wheel specs on that truck? Thanks
20x12 -44 backspacing and 33x12.50
Do you have larger injectors if so what size and what tuning are you running?
Stock injectors for now until we stud the engine!
@@LeftLaneDiesels After studding engine what size injectors do you plan to run when this turbo? Thx
So bad ass looks fun how much for the kc
Goes for around 1600$ on their website. Click the link in the description and check it out!
@@LeftLaneDiesels not a bad price wow thanks for sharing bro
I heard you say up to 600HP! But how much TORQUE???
On a turbo diesel, the torque is usually around 2x the hp. So, 600hp would most likely make around 1200ft/lb of torque.
im looking into the 10 blade rebuild kit by them for my 04. is that any good? i cant afford the full turbo and if its not worth it then i wont buy it.
mason waltrup absolutely! I have a video on how to install the 10 blade and rebuild your turbo! A little bit of gains on the top end, and of course the sound is awesome. If your interested use my links in the description of this video! Any other questions let me know!
@@LeftLaneDiesels thank you
What size injectors are you running?
Stock on this truck
do you still have your cat??? on ???
What injectors were you running with the stage 2 turbo?
Stock, but I would recommend a minimum of 155/30 if running a stage 2
@@LeftLaneDiesels yeah I’ve been back and forth on whether to stick with stock sizing injectors or slight upgrade ones. I plan on doing some traveling which is why I’ve been leaning towards stock cause if one has an issues you can get a replacement to at least get home at any dealership. Although at that if I get upgrades I could always get 1 or 2 extra to keep with me. I know I probably wouldn’t have to worry about having an issues with quality aftermarket injectors (I like holders I’ve used them before) but the thought of being stranded away from home scares me a bit haha.
How bad is the turbo lag with the stock injectors
With good tuning, it’s extremely close to stock!

Titan turbo service is better Jon Titus is a super nice guy
Thanks for the DumbAss comment. Never even heard of them. He's a Super nice guy, so that makes his Turbos better ? I seriously doubt that. Charlie been doing this for a while now, he knows what works and what doesn't for a 6.0 and he's a Super Nice Guy too, but that doesn't make his products better. It's his experience and knowledge that makes his Turbos better.
So how do I relearn the vgt if I have a egr delete?
What year truck? Only the 03 and early 04 trucks have to have a egr valve plugged in for relearn.
