Why hasn't someone made a 3/4 scale drink machine for gamerooms.
I'm guessing no one has figured out a cost effective way to produce and sell it sadly.
Because most of us who have gamerooms already modded the cabs with a mini-fridge 😉

The list of old Coke slogans made look up the old "Always Coca-Cola" ads. I remembered the main jingle but hearing the full song all these years later really hit me hard.
Another great example of why I like watching your channel! I pre-ordered one of these for my Mother (who is an avid Coca-Cola collector) and I agree with everything you said in your review. New Wave Toys did have delays in trying to get the front panel printing process right, but as you said if (WHEN) they make more vending machines, they have room to improve with evenly lighting the front panel. Aside from hotspots, the only other issue with my Mom's unit was the coin drawer installed upside down (not a problem at all).
What does your Mother think of the machine so far?
Mine was delivered yesterday after several months of waiting. I will say it is pretty sweet. I ordered the coke classic. The quality is very nice. I probably won't use it to cool my drinks. I will buy others if they any I like. Highly recommended for coke fans or collectors. Might not be for everyone, but very nice.

I got mine and love it. Much bigger than I expected. My living room is 70 degreess and after about 8 hours of having the mini fridge on, the fridge got to 38 degreees fahrenheit. Frost developed inside on the back. Great stuff.

I felt like the imperfections in the LED’s are a good replica of actual machines and that they nailed it yet again in that respect.
The more I look at it I realize it is not just a happy accident, it is VERY intentional. For as huge a marketing mistake they made with New Coke, it was particularly shocking because Coke marketing has always been head and shoulders above the competition, regardless if actual sales lagged or surged.
The “hotspots” and shadows in the lighted display are reproductions of the same in the original machine…Which the designers used to advertise subconsciously with the entire machine looking like a 6’ can glistening with lines of condensation running down the side near the bottom, and the corners shaded a bit like the beveled mouth of a fresh …Just from describing the artwork, you getting thirsty yet? You might not even like Coke, but now you are curious what other beverages there are… See? BRILLIANT marketing at work here!
P.S. New Coke could have become the best product idea ever instead of its reputation as the worst with just one change: Call it Coke II from the start (and *****never***** even allow a rumor to spread that you might drop your original core product-duh!)
I'd like to have this for building my mini arcade. I want to keep it with the New Wave Micro arcade cabs.
Great review - had me from the intro (we had the same ad music here in UK). I'm a huge fan of Coca-Cola (huge fan of Coke might give people the wrong idea!), this was a instant pre-order for me. Expecting to receive mine from the US next week! :)

Yes to a jukebox! Make it an mp3 player and not just a Bluetooth speaker. The cooler also holds 20 and 16.9 oz bottles not just the glass ones. Would love to see them put a USB connection for those of us that just want it to light up and bend and no need for the fridge feature.
Quite looking forward to this one. I do wish they also offered a classic Pepsi machine, but maybe that's a future release surprise. So pleased with the quality from this company so far, and it seems to get better with every release.
That is going to look amazing next to your 1/4 scale machines! Very cool product. Getting that coin in looks like a task but so happy that they even made it that way. Its unfortunate about the lighting but still a cool looking product.
lol I spent 10 mins trying to find a coin a dropped in my carpet while shooting this review. Those coins are so tiny to hold onto

Yeah, pretty happy with mine! The vending functionality where the cans come out is AMAZING (though I hate that the cans get stuck vertically sometimes). Like you, I was VERY SURPRISED at the door lighting. Disappointed at the hot spotting. It doesn't ruin everything, I love this Coke machine, but it's a bummer for sure.
I would LOVE to see a miniature vertical Wulitzer Jukebox with real working bubbles :) Or, even the more traditional Jukes I experienced growing up, where you looked down on the song cards on a flat surface (They Could Make Both)! Bluetooth speaker those bad boys, or even add an mp3 player to them with a decent amount of storage, and bring em' out!
Looking forward to getting the other New Wave Toys products I pre-ordered (Zoltar, Ghouls 'n Ghosts and Ghosts 'n Goblins) and also the Numskull ones (both Space Invaders and a TMNT).

Zoltar should be awesome, I've got high hopes for that one as I'm curious to see if I can finally replace my mini one I bought from FAOSchwartz years ago. A Wulitzer bubble jukebox would be awesome, I adore the looks of those machines so much.
love the look of this Coke machine. hard to find fault in anything they do. New Wave takes pride in what they produce and it shows. Hoping for some larger form factor in the future but im not holding my breath
I think New Wave Toys is likely going to stick with their decided upon 1/6th scale. Wouldn't make much sense for them to bail on that size now after releasing everything to date in it
BBTS currently has this up for pre order and also New Coke. I am hopiny they make a Mello Yello 80's Version.
The amount of free stuff you must have could be legendary 😂. I don’t recall the grey highlight on those period Coke machines…. Kind of reminds me of New Coke.

I'd be surprised if anyone actual does intend to use the cooling function longterm, but I suppose it's better to have the option than not.

Oh I hear that, its definitely a Want and not a Need. But I couldn't resist buying it, I just was too impressed with the small scale working vending component to say no.
I wish they would release a bigger version of this. Enough to fit maybe a 12 pack . Either way this is kindeve cool.
Bigger size would be neat, but with that would come a much higher cost.
This is probably perfect for a 12 inch figure as part of a diorama.
8-12" figures scale pretty well with most of their products. Lots of cool diorama options for sure.
Mine arrived yesterday and while it is great like all NWT I already own this one has the same led diffusion issue on mine. Not a deal breaker but “odd” that it’s there. I know the real ones weren’t perfect but hearing that they had delays and issues with the lighting makes me wonder if this is supposed to be this way or really a defect. Either way I’m happy.

Very cool I somehow missed that this product got released I didn't know anything about it. I understand why they tried to go the fridge route but to me it would have been more useful as another power bank I know they already did that with the change machine and they've got that little Walkman thing I own both of those and I use them daily so another charging Bank would have been useful definitely more useful than this... but maybe you can put some chocolate in there on a humid day or something I don't know
I wouldn't be surprised if they release more power bank products in the future. Their line has grown so much over the last few years that I know lots of people are needing and wanting more options

I’m a huge fan of New Wave (Voltar is another I can’t wait for), but they have such a good quality control department they would ship late to get a monitor just right. I have a New Coke one and the fan wasn’t as loud (maybe a fluke?). Do you know if they are going to offer Space Invaders and Track and field on their site? They are on preorder somewhere else, but the price is much more than they usually charge. Bring on Turtles and Ghouls! Solid review as always.
I doubt New Wave Toys will do Space Invaders or Track and Field anytime soon. Track and Field's original artwork is not able to be licensed by anyone, and I know that would likely be a deal breaker for New Wave Toys as they really strive for authenticity.
Does this only use a plug? It doesn't have a chargeable battery?

U got me so excited! I actually thought someone finally made a mini replica Coca Cola vending machine, for people to use in their homes. This is very cool and I might get one to put on my desk, but I’d like for some company like arcade1up does but with quality, to make a mini affordable coke vending machine for someone’s home. I know there are stuff like that even Home Depot has had some but those are the real size. I’d like to buy one that could hold maybe 6-12 cans and just put money in or just push the button and enjoy. The lights all that. Maybe one day.

That's likely what I'll do, just pop off the front casing and put some material inside to further diffuse the lighting. I was just shocked that it was coming from the factory like this.

I’d love a snack machine too but I don’t see that happening bc you’d have so many moving parts unless they just made one functional and the rest of the snacks just for show
I’m becoming increasingly confident that the hot spots and shadows and seeming printing errors are intentional replications of an original vending machine that would assuredly have every one of those features.
Does it seem like the coke graphic is removable? If so you could print some different graphics on transparency paper..

Seriously, it's great. Some people are complaining about imperfections but the real machines also had them. Great review man. Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeve next.
Did you see their tease of the 1/6th scale bicycle they had a comic-con? I'm always amazed when they pull off something completely unexpected like that or the pending Zoltar machine.

The lighting is pretty subpar. This is the first time ive had an issue with a NWT product. I dont know if I would buy more vending machines that have light up logos after this one. Everything else about it is cool though.
I think it is intentional to look like a real vending machine that never had a perfectly printed Coke logo.
Look VERY closely at Replitronics. There are always a lot more details than you realize!
So that is the 1988 USA logo...the lineup of beverages should be...1.) Coca-Cola classic 2.)Coke (New Coke) 3.) diet Coke 4.) cherry Coke 5.) Caffeine Free diet Coke 6.) Sprite 7.) Minute Maid Orange Soda (I think Minute Maid Lemon-Lime variant was discontinued around this time). In 1988 that was the usual selection in the machines, some offered other Coke products though. But the first 4 beverages I listed were certainly the same usually in all machines.
I am sure they fixed that problem of hot spots. Getting New Wave early is not always the best idea.
It saves money to pre-order. Typically saves me around $50 of getting in on their early bird deals.

The website will be where you buy it, they will announce on their social media when they open it up to allow others to purchase it again. They are still currently fulfilling pre-orders for customers who pre ordered theirs last year like I did.
This is one of the only New Wave Toys I decided not to get.. Probably should pick it up just to go with the rest

Yeah, most machines I ever came across in the wild where pretty beat up.. Paper signs for random beverage selections, cracked fronts on their main facings. These full sized vending machines are pretty used and abused in the public.

A few years ago they re-made real New Coke as part of a promotional tie-in with stranger things, not sure if they are still making it.
Mine doesn't have any hot spots. I heard they were delayed due to them trying to fix the hot spots. Maybe it's just some machines.
