If you're curious, the machine is an ultrasonic plate, the water is there to transfer the vibration to the bottle. No idea why the coke ices up, but I do know that you can replicate this by placing a coke in the freezer for a while, but not long enough to freeze, and then smacking the base before you open it. I think this is better though.
Because there were some cokes already frozen in the fridge, I assume it’s just much colder than normal. And the vibration just triggers the freezing process. It’s certainly interesting.
It happens because of the carbonic acid leaving the bottle. The Drink is cooled down right before the freezing point, when the carbonic acid leaves the bottle there is a pressure drop wich let the drink cool down even more right to the point of freezing.
The Freezer stays way below Freezing and the coke are kept motionless the water/liquid state hasn't moved since its liguild state and created the bonds needed for ice which require movement create small movements wont cause the instant freeze you witnessed but jostles them into a Nearly ice state the Carbon Released upon opening moves them drastically enough to get into position and Freeze. This can be Done with an OPEN water bottle gently place it in the freezer wait 4-6 hours take it out gently then Smack the bottom of it quite hard and open it so the air can move.
The magic is actually in the cooler itself, it supercools the coke below it's freezing point very quickly and without agitation. When you tip the bottle upsidedown it starts the process of growing ice crystals. The plate is simply an ultrasonic vibration machine that keeps the ice crystals from growing too large to fit through the neck of the bottle. It's honestly a pretty neat gimmick.
I've been doing this for years in my freezer you just gotta place a bottle in the freezer about 45-60min then smack it, tap it, shake it up if it's water and it instantly turns to slush 🤯. No need for a machine that costs hundreds if not thousands lol. This is how ICEE's/Slurpee's got invented. 😉. Btw I'm a diehard coke guy but I do love me the occasional RC Cola. The clue is the fridge.. .. it's colder than normal, just above freezing, turning the bottle starts the process, and the vibrating plate gives it a boost.
Incorrect turning the bottle just mixes it so its all the same temp all its just the freezer is just above freezing and the vibrating plate starts a reaction with the tiny little ice particles and it “flash freezes”
Just FYI, the machine doesn't make the coke do that. The cokes are kept in that fridge at a critical temp that makes it so any agitation will start that freeze process. All you're doing is starting the freezing process with your shaking and the machine shines a light behind it so you can watch it happen.
Machine vibrates the bottle. The shake doesn't start the process (the guide clearly says to slowly turn it upside down), it's so the temperature inside the bottle is same on the bottom and the top (the fridge might have a colder/warmer wall, and the liquid might be different temperature)
I love this! I totally get how it happens (you can do this with most beverages - juice, water, etc - it’s all about catching it at the right point, before it freezes) but it’s still cool 😎 Would love to see these in 7-11’s. Frozen Coke machines are often broken and this gives you one without all the churning 🥤
It is not about timing, it is super cooled liquid, which just means a liquid below its freezing point. It does not freeze because the crystals need a nucleation point to seed from.

Pure friggin magic. But really the drink is vibrated and the carbon dioxide loss (primed by turning upside down and right side up) adjusts the freezing point of water (soda). Further CO2 loss like opening the bottle will make ice form more quickly.
I keep 16oz bottles of water in the freezer compartment of a mini-fridge, which is under a table in a gazebo in my back yard. The freezer compartment holds three bottles. When I take a bottle out of the freezer it is usually not frozen, just a bottle of very cold crystal clear water. But when I shake it the water instantly turns into icy slush. I think the same thing is happening here. You could see the bits of ice in some of the coke bottles, so they must be very cold. Agitating them causes the liquid to freeze. This is because a water doesn't necessarily freeze right at 32° F, but can become super-cooled and then freeze suddenly when a shock causes nucleation of ice crystals and they all start to line up.

I see this same thing happening in my freezer at home. I turn it up to the coldest setting for about 30 minutes. Then there are times where I take my drink out (Mountain Dew 16.9 ounce bottle, in my case) and slam it down vertically on the palm of my hand. Sometimes you can see it freeze solid either from top to bottom or bottom to top, within seconds. It was already hypercooled in the freezer. Tapping it makes the molecules line up and ices it over, as best as I understand why I researched it.
it's the bubbles that make it freeze so quick as bubbles contain a ridiculously thin layer of liquid that will be able to freeze more or less instantly, kind of traps the cold air inside the bubble and on the outside thus freezes super fast, when you agitate the co2 content inside the bottle you'd usually see freezing happening around the top depending on the temperature inside the bottle of course as gas usually behaves in that manner and wants to rise
I figured this out in Tahoe, years ago. We had a cooler of Glass bottles with seltzer water in them. When we took off the bottle caps they froze from the inside out in like 3 seconds flat; it was awesome. I eventually figured out it was because of the pressure change. The carbonation increased the pressure inside the unopened bottle and thereby lowered the freezing point. This means if the freezing point of water is say 0 degrees celsius, under normal pressure, then it would be something like -10 degrees celsius under the pressure the bottle offered. In the Tahoe case, the bottles were somewhere between 0 and -10 degrees celsius, so not enough to freeze them under the pressure but cold enough to free at normal pressure. When we took off the bottle cap, the pressure was instantly released and the liquid, which was already at the freezing point for normal pressure, automatically started to freeze. This must work best with carbonated drinks as the CO2 (Carbon Dioxide forced into a drink = Carbonation) is what provides the significant increase in pressure.

*I've been doing this for MANY decades. You put your soda in the deep freezer for roughly 20 minutes. Then take it out. Open the lid SLOWLY as when the water in the syrup starts to freeze, the drink expands and will spill over.*
For any who don't know, you can easily do the same thing with any freezer. Put any bottled drink (even just water) in the freezer for about two hours, then come back when it's really cold but not frozen yet. Smack the bottle against something like a countertop lip or just punch it real hard, and it'll start freezing into a slush on the spot. Might have to try a few times to get the chilling time right.

So I put my soda in the freezer, but not to the point of being frozen just to the point of being really really cold, you have to lay it down on its side, then when you pull it out of the freezer put it upright and you will see the exact same thing start to happen as you would as if it were inside that machine, then once you open it up it does the exact same thing as this only better because there is much more "ice" and it doesn't go flat either😊😊

if you take a paper towel and slighlty dampen it with salt water and then wrap that around the bottle, it will get it much colder much faster due to the salt allowing the water to get colder than freezing. Lmao this is pretty common cool science facts, so I'm sure you know but thought I'd share.

This can be done at home with a lot of different sodas in your own freezer, as long as they aren't diet or zero sugar., and they're in a plastic bottle. Just make sure you open it slowly, and in a sink, as it could get messy real fast. XD
It works with any liquid that freezes at 0°C/32°F the key point is not letting it drop too far below freezing and to not agitate until you're ready to drink it or the seed crystals will turn it all to ice and solidify.
So, the fridge is storing it at close to freezing, causing the liquid in the bottle to be on the verge of freezing, the machine is then using ultrasound to trigger the formation of ice crystals inside the liquid, resulting in your slushy in a bottle.
Actually, I believe the bottle is kept at or below freezing but just remains in a liquid state. Then, as you said earlier, the agitation starts the ice crystal chain reaction with the CO2 or something like that. Freaky stuff! Nature has supercooled rain as well! The rain falls at below-freezing levels and freezes instantly to the ground. It freezes clear and I think that is the reason behind black ice as well :P

That's actually kind of how slushies were invented. The concept was created in 1958 by Omar Knedlik, a Dairy Queen owner in Coffeyville, Kansas, one summer day when he was trying to keep his Coke bottles cold. The story goes that he didn't have a soda fountain or a refrigerator so he stuck them in the freezer. but when he took them out, ne noticed they came out as a semi-solid frozen mixture. It actually ended up becoming very popular and ultimately lead him to create a machine to recreate the drink and founding a company to sell them that became ICEE. the difference of course is that it's using an ultrasonic plate with vibration and Knedlik used a freezer with timing.
its a liquid but below freezing temp, the vibration of the plate causes nucleation in the coke causing it to instantly freeze into small flat shards of ice. while the water does not turn into a solid mass of ice its a neat trick when people are over and your handing out water bottles. you can do this at home with a bottle of distilled or purified water then put into the freezer, you will noticed it wont freeze except the moment you pick it up. You can delay when nucleation of the water happens by not reducing the waters temp into the negatives as most freezers are but keep it at around 26-29 degrees.
If you wondering why the coke freezes when she opens the bottle. It happens because of the carbonic acid leaving the bottle. The Drink is cooled down right before the freezing point, when the carbonic acid leaves the bottle there is a pressure drop wich let the drink cool down even more right to the point of freezing.
I mix half coffee and half milk, put in a plastic bottle with some sugar, stick it in the freezer, and it becomes a cold icey coffee. It works with any kind of juices. Better than Coca-cola, try it with 7-Up, it becomes like an Italian Granita, very refreshing.

It's called super cooling, when the temperature goes past the freezing point. Liquids at this point will freeze when disturbed. You can also super boil water past the boiling point so when a foreign object is placed in it, it will violently boil out. That can be done with a microwave oven. Be careful when heating liquids then stirring.
You can do the same thing by placing any soda into a freezer, opening it and drinking it. The warmth may or may not be the reason it's ices up but it's still the best way to drink an icy/sort of slushy soda

When its at that point in the cooler, you can just "open it" and it will freeze as well... the Co2 is keeping it at a lower freezing point, when a bit escapes, it starts the chain reaction as well.
If you're curious, the machine is an ultrasonic plate, the water is there to transfer the vibration to the bottle. No idea why the coke ices up, but I do know that you can replicate this by placing a coke in the freezer for a while, but not long enough to freeze, and then smacking the base before you open it. I think this is better though.
Because there were some cokes already frozen in the fridge, I assume it’s just much colder than normal. And the vibration just triggers the freezing process. It’s certainly interesting.

This can be Done with an OPEN water bottle gently place it in the freezer wait 4-6 hours take it out gently then Smack the bottom of it quite hard and open it so the air can move.

When you tip the bottle upsidedown it starts the process of growing ice crystals. The plate is simply an ultrasonic vibration machine that keeps the ice crystals from growing too large to fit through the neck of the bottle. It's honestly a pretty neat gimmick.
That explains why some of the cokes in the cooler were partially frozen, they likely got bumped when someone was taking one out.

I've been doing this for years in my freezer you just gotta place a bottle in the freezer about 45-60min then smack it, tap it, shake it up if it's water and it instantly turns to slush 🤯. No need for a machine that costs hundreds if not thousands lol. This is how ICEE's/Slurpee's got invented. 😉. Btw I'm a diehard coke guy but I do love me the occasional RC Cola. I did this with a 20oz bottle of RC the other day and it was the best soda slushy EVER!!!!! 😋

The clue is the fridge.. .. it's colder than normal, just above freezing, turning the bottle starts the process, and the vibrating plate gives it a boost.
Incorrect turning the bottle just mixes it so its all the same temp all its just the freezer is just above freezing and the vibrating plate starts a reaction with the tiny little ice particles and it “flash freezes”
Just FYI, the machine doesn't make the coke do that. The cokes are kept in that fridge at a critical temp that makes it so any agitation will start that freeze process. All you're doing is starting the freezing process with your shaking and the machine shines a light behind it so you can watch it happen.

Machine vibrates the bottle. The shake doesn't start the process (the guide clearly says to slowly turn it upside down), it's so the temperature inside the bottle is same on the bottom and the top (the fridge might have a colder/warmer wall, and the liquid might be different temperature)

It is not about timing, it is super cooled liquid, which just means a liquid below its freezing point. It does not freeze because the crystals need a nucleation point to seed from.

I keep 16oz bottles of water in the freezer compartment of a mini-fridge, which is under a table in a gazebo in my back yard. The freezer compartment holds three bottles. When I take a bottle out of the freezer it is usually not frozen, just a bottle of very cold crystal clear water. But when I shake it the water instantly turns into icy slush. I think the same thing is happening here. You could see the bits of ice in some of the coke bottles, so they must be very cold. Agitating them causes the liquid to freeze. This is because a water doesn't necessarily freeze right at 32° F, but can become super-cooled and then freeze suddenly when a shock causes nucleation of ice crystals and they all start to line up.
The slurping sound you made while having first sips should be in games, when a character drinks something 😂

I see this same thing happening in my freezer at home. I turn it up to the coldest setting for about 30 minutes. Then there are times where I take my drink out (Mountain Dew 16.9 ounce bottle, in my case) and slam it down vertically on the palm of my hand. Sometimes you can see it freeze solid either from top to bottom or bottom to top, within seconds. It was already hypercooled in the freezer. Tapping it makes the molecules line up and ices it over, as best as I understand why I researched it.
it's the bubbles that make it freeze so quick as bubbles contain a ridiculously thin layer of liquid that will be able to freeze more or less instantly, kind of traps the cold air inside the bubble and on the outside thus freezes super fast, when you agitate the co2 content inside the bottle you'd usually see freezing happening around the top depending on the temperature inside the bottle of course as gas usually behaves in that manner and wants to rise
I figured this out in Tahoe, years ago. We had a cooler of Glass bottles with seltzer water in them. When we took off the bottle caps they froze from the inside out in like 3 seconds flat; it was awesome.
I eventually figured out it was because of the pressure change. The carbonation increased the pressure inside the unopened bottle and thereby lowered the freezing point. This means if the freezing point of water is say 0 degrees celsius, under normal pressure, then it would be something like -10 degrees celsius under the pressure the bottle offered.
In the Tahoe case, the bottles were somewhere between 0 and -10 degrees celsius, so not enough to freeze them under the pressure but cold enough to free at normal pressure.
When we took off the bottle cap, the pressure was instantly released and the liquid, which was already at the freezing point for normal pressure, automatically started to freeze.
This must work best with carbonated drinks as the CO2 (Carbon Dioxide forced into a drink = Carbonation) is what provides the significant increase in pressure.

*I've been doing this for MANY decades. You put your soda in the deep freezer for roughly 20 minutes. Then take it out. Open the lid SLOWLY as when the water in the syrup starts to freeze, the drink expands and will spill over.*

For any who don't know, you can easily do the same thing with any freezer. Put any bottled drink (even just water) in the freezer for about two hours, then come back when it's really cold but not frozen yet. Smack the bottle against something like a countertop lip or just punch it real hard, and it'll start freezing into a slush on the spot. Might have to try a few times to get the chilling time right.

When I first seen this I thought it was insane! By accident I actually learned how to to this same thing without that machine..
So I put my soda in the freezer, but not to the point of being frozen just to the point of being really really cold, you have to lay it down on its side, then when you pull it out of the freezer put it upright and you will see the exact same thing start to happen as you would as if it were inside that machine, then once you open it up it does the exact same thing as this only better because there is much more "ice" and it doesn't go flat either😊😊

if you take a paper towel and slighlty dampen it with salt water and then wrap that around the bottle, it will get it much colder much faster due to the salt allowing the water to get colder than freezing. Lmao this is pretty common cool science facts, so I'm sure you know but thought I'd share.

Just shake any bottle of soda and put it in your freezer. Open then close to release the pressure and turn it upside down. There's videos on yt how to do it.

good old coca freeze machine (I know it not freeze anything), usually get that if I am around that area. Sadly not all 7-11 have that, so a rare commodity to enjoy hahaha
This can be done at home with a lot of different sodas in your own freezer, as long as they aren't diet or zero sugar., and they're in a plastic bottle.
Just make sure you open it slowly, and in a sink, as it could get messy real fast. XD

It works with any liquid that freezes at 0°C/32°F the key point is not letting it drop too far below freezing and to not agitate until you're ready to drink it or the seed crystals will turn it all to ice and solidify.

So, the fridge is storing it at close to freezing, causing the liquid in the bottle to be on the verge of freezing, the machine is then using ultrasound to trigger the formation of ice crystals inside the liquid, resulting in your slushy in a bottle.
Actually, I believe the bottle is kept at or below freezing but just remains in a liquid state. Then, as you said earlier, the agitation starts the ice crystal chain reaction with the CO2 or something like that. Freaky stuff! Nature has supercooled rain as well! The rain falls at below-freezing levels and freezes instantly to the ground. It freezes clear and I think that is the reason behind black ice as well :P
They should put more of these out. That's cool. You can do it yourself by putting one in a freezer for a little while then smacking the bottom before opening.
This really reminds me of one of the items scp 261 dispenses. The moment you open the coke the liquid becomes jet black from transparent and this, liquid to instant freeze

Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

That's actually kind of how slushies were invented. The concept was created in 1958 by Omar Knedlik, a Dairy Queen owner in Coffeyville, Kansas, one summer day when he was trying to keep his Coke bottles cold. The story goes that he didn't have a soda fountain or a refrigerator so he stuck them in the freezer. but when he took them out, ne noticed they came out as a semi-solid frozen mixture. It actually ended up becoming very popular and ultimately lead him to create a machine to recreate the drink and founding a company to sell them that became ICEE. the difference of course is that it's using an ultrasonic plate with vibration and Knedlik used a freezer with timing.
And now all these years later, coke is the grossest icee flavor lol

its a liquid but below freezing temp, the vibration of the plate causes nucleation in the coke causing it to instantly freeze into small flat shards of ice. while the water does not turn into a solid mass of ice its a neat trick when people are over and your handing out water bottles. you can do this at home with a bottle of distilled or purified water then put into the freezer, you will noticed it wont freeze except the moment you pick it up. You can delay when nucleation of the water happens by not reducing the waters temp into the negatives as most freezers are but keep it at around 26-29 degrees.

If you wondering why the coke freezes when she opens the bottle. It happens because of the
carbonic acid leaving the bottle. The Drink is cooled down right before the freezing point, when the
carbonic acid leaves the bottle there is a pressure drop wich let the drink cool down even more right to the point of freezing.

I mix half coffee and half milk, put in a plastic bottle with some sugar, stick it in the freezer, and it becomes a cold icey coffee. It works with any kind of juices. Better than Coca-cola, try it with 7-Up, it becomes like an Italian Granita, very refreshing.

It's called super cooling, when the temperature goes past the freezing point. Liquids at this point will freeze when disturbed. You can also super boil water past the boiling point so when a foreign object is placed in it, it will violently boil out. That can be done with a microwave oven. Be careful when heating liquids then stirring.
You can do the same thing by placing any soda into a freezer, opening it and drinking it. The warmth may or may not be the reason it's ices up but it's still the best way to drink an icy/sort of slushy soda

When its at that point in the cooler, you can just "open it" and it will freeze as well... the Co2 is keeping it at a lower freezing point, when a bit escapes, it starts the chain reaction as well.
