    Thank you for the all detail, the whys and how you implement the delay. Sometimes I watch these kinds of videos and I really wanna know why certain things are being done or I just have more questions in general and don’t find the answers for months ha. It’s really generous of UA-camrs like yourself who put out quality content for free for everyone to learn.

    This is so helpful man, I’m in the middle of mixing some vocals and this popped up and I thought it was a cool coincidence😂

    These type of videos are you whats been missing! All these tutorials needed context! And the fact you sing on the tracks and can point out slowly each part with true knowledge takes this up a level 🚀thank you

    Excellent explanation! This really helped me to understand where the all the "air" around vocals or solo instruments comes from in professional mixes, while the original signal stays upfront. Thank you very much!

    Not quite what I was expecting!
    I had imagined that you'd be starting with something like a 1/32 or 1/16 delay and stacking longer delays on top of that.
    Very interesting video, certainly something I'll be playing with on my next session, thanks! 🙂👍

    If I may make a suggestion: try and use your hand gestures a lot less and to better effect.

    When you recorded the vocals initially did you have and hear the reverb effects? Or just worked with singing with hearing a dry signal?

    • @shanefiddle
      @shanefiddle 2 роки тому +1

      Almost certainly recorded dry, that is normal practice for a number of reasons.

    • @simong8527

      @@shanefiddle recorded dry but often he adds side chain effects just to be heard during recording to enhance performance

    What do u mean by outboard compressor? Like the physical hardware and not a digital plugin?

    • @chrisliepe
      @chrisliepe 2 роки тому +1

      Ya, a physical piece of hardware :) Nothing quite like it!

    Great demonstration and good vocals, however why are you adding so much grit whereas Plant kept it cleaner? Are you trying to add your take on it? Because you voice is just about as clean as Plants when you want it to be. Very impressive set of pipes you got there.

    Can you use karaoke music from another channel and then post covers with it on your own channel without getting in terrible with either the karaoke channel or the original artist? I know people used to post covers all the time but now I'm worried about getting shut down.

    Hi. 🙂 Please, let us pray together. Dear God who art in heaven hallow be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever in Jesus Christ's name we pray amen.
