I was disappointed to not be able to see Matt in Sydney on Saturday. It looked like I had been forced to miss a good experience. This setup in Matt’s hands is a good testimony of the product.
The GF500mm looks like a very nice Lens, compact and light weight with very good IQ, but all your other GF Lenses is big and heavy and not all with good IQ !
this is amazing news and make me hope for a future change of my gear to medium format. But as a bird photographer still need to see something longer than that 500 (400 in real life). Birds are not like the most of the wildlife. They're always "too far" (unless you are baiting, and it open to ethical discussions). And I would love to see a video of how the bird AF of this superb camera behave with a subject that, because that far distance, will be probably 10% of the frame. Still, this gear looks incredibly good
Check out the video with Shelly, she’s a birder and she did a field test in Tasmania. I can say that for birds I used the 1.4x teleconverter and sometimes even the 35mm crop mode, makes it a decent tele lens. For the NT you can get pretty close around Fog Dam and Shady camp so did a great job :-)
@@mattkruminsphotography ciao Matt Thanks, I'll ask her about it. Changing topic. Are you still planning light studio workshops in this 2024? Thinking to gift one of yours to my partner
When you say more then full frame do you mean, that 90% of the wow factor of this documentary/review is the video cameras used? And not in fact the tiny percentage of photos used from the actual GFX?
Absolutely amazing! Well done Matt and Fuji!!
Thanks! Loved every minute making this vid with the team
This stunning video proves that even with extraordinary gear, it's the creative and passionate photographer who makes the magic happen.
Excited to see everyone enjoying it Gino!
Spectacular images! Excellent video! Fuji marketing is at an entirely different level.
Thanks Doug! That camera is a beast for Wildlife
Awesome lens, awesome video! Good job Fuji.
Wow! Incredible and inspirational. We have goosebumps. Congratulations Matt. You are a star. Bob&Marg
Thanks! Hehe was a lot of fun to make
Awesome video! Good work Fujifilm!

Wow, stunningly beautiful.
I love the lighting on the frog
Fuji made such a smart decision focusing only on APS-C and Medium Format.
Amazing camera lovely Fujifilm
Lately I have been wondering about older lenses for MF cameras likethe GFX & Hassy but actually for landscape also. This great to see.
The autofocus on the camera lens is pretty great using animal tracking
Where are the long lenses for the x system? it's been years!
Gracias

Avec quel boîtier grec les photos ont été prises dans cette video, merci
Very cool. I wasn't going to buy the new camera body, as I already have a XT and GFX system, but dang this looks cool.
Great unit for wildlife and landscapes :-)
My Dream!
Cool
With this lens, Fujifilm can see where my money is. It's a pity that the helicopter is not included as a bonus.
Hehe it’s a very capable combination but yes, helicopters also make everything better! Haha
Just a quick question, is it compatible with GF1.4X TC WR ? and if yes do we have sample comparison images?
I would think so. As long as there is or not much image degradation. Cause it will be magnified by 102mp. Probably no problem with today’s optics.
It’s captiable.
Yup, I shot quite a few of the images with the 1.4 TC (goes to f/8) but has great sharpness still
Good question. It is capable. Very good results.

Yep I will, just need to tee up availability with my model :-)
@@mattkruminsphotography Great, I will keep an eye on your website

I would piss myself if a crocodile follows me like that
Even though it's blurred I can still see that it's Quicksilver😅.
❤
I just want a 2800 dollar gfx 50rMark ii.

Blurring the cap brand logo is so distracting. They are not competing with you on camera, why just let it go naturally?
Focus on the concept of the video ... Relax
