How do you know what you can delete from your favorites list and which ones you can not? I've tried using this method and once I delete the unwanted areas and try it on the scanner the scanners reads "nothing to scan". Thanks in advance I'd your able to help!

I'm not sure what you're asking. Could you let me know the time code associated with your question, please. If you're talking about the process of deleting some of the geographic areas (e.g. Brawley, Black Mtn, etc.), I had advice from a knowledgeable friend who told me to delete areas other than "Carlsbad, North Simulcast, West Simulcast"., in order to increase the efficiency of the scan by avoid scanning areas not of interest to me. UPDATE - Carlsbad PD began encrypting their radio traffic so the scanner is now silent for that Favorite. I no longer ask the scanner to listen to that Favorite (I do that from the HP2 Scanner menu screen). I still hear traffic on Northcom Fire Dispatch, Marine, and some other Favorites of interest to me. - Mike -
