Sail GP is in Halifax this weekend …amazing to see up close…those boats are FAST….all crews are great ,but the Canadiens are doing us proud….Did an amazing “ fly by” for the grand stands and the place went crazy……..they said we have the largest crowd by three fold of all the events so far…hope to see Parley up this way someday……

Colin may not think he belongs among the ‘professional’ sailors but IMO he more than qualifies to stand in those ranks. I’ve never even been on a sailboat but I’ve come to love sailing through Colin and his crew. Every industry could hope to have an ambassador like Colin is for sailing.

Amazing boats and so cool you have a chance to get aboard. I'm 66 years old and entered my 1st sailboat race on my own little boat this year and it's exciting and nerve wracking even on my little boat. I can hardly imagine what it was like for you on one these flying rockets!

Colin, you said you were humbled, but you yourself are so very humble and don’t even realize it. We all watched you recover a multi million dollar yachts charter season by rebuilding the engine and basically saving everyone’s jobs and vacations with your fast thinking and engineering smarts. It’s no surprise everyone recognizes you dude, you’re a legend in your own right too! Don’t sell yourself short❤
And of course EVERYTHING you’ve done to recover Parlay, all of the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into it, and how far you’ve come, truly those guys probably look up to you! Bet none of them have done what you have. Love checking in every Sunday to see where yall are at and what crew are with you! Will definitely continue to keep watching!

As a complete sail GP fanboy and a Parley subscriber from (very nearly) episode one... this episode is one of my all time favs. I watched the UK sail GP in Plymouth and you're right, the cameras don't do justice to the speed. As Ross J says below, such an awesome episode and also an incredible behind the scenes doco! I learnt so much more about the whole setup and the series (and the boats), in that 30 mins than I have in the 4 years I've been following along. Sail GP deserves more air time like this and hopefully this will get it out there to a whole heap of new fans!

Colin i so get how you feel, i was lucky enough to be invited to do a lap in a pace car for the V8 Super Cars Adelaide 500 some years ago and spent the weekend on pit lane. bumping sholders with my heroes and the racing elite. They didnt know my name but that didnt kill my buzz. such a privelage.
For Kiwis this is all your sailing heroes on one place. The noise and speed of these yachts? Is mindblowing. I deem them aircraft - its like standing on a runway when they fly by
