  • ‪@gehealthcare‬ invited me to deliver a "Meet the Experts" lecture at the most recent ‪@ISUOGTeam‬ Congress in Seoul, October 2023. I could not have been more honoured and excited to educate the attendees at this world congress - they too CAN see endometriosis on ultrasound. All the people that have told us that you cannot diagnose endometriosis on ultrasound, all the people that told us we will never see superficial endometriosis on ultrasound - time to prove them wrong. Through a systematic approach with novel concepts such as the introduction of fluid, or using natural peritoneal fluid, and performing the majority of the scan in the posterior fornix, we CAN see endometriosis. And we must - patients deserve this. #DiagnosisIsTherapy

Hello Matthew, thank you so much for your conference. It was very interesting to learn more about endometriosis detection. I had one quesion. So i suspect i might suffer from this condition and so my doctor gave me an appointment for a pelvic ultrasound. The results came back negative. But, I did not drink water before my appointment.
How much can the lack of water consumption have affected my results? Should i reschedule an appointment.
Also, what is the best time during the menstrual cycle , to have the most accurate results possible?
