Man, I don't understand why UA-camrs of KSP always take the safe path and don't mod their game. The ones that do keep it really safe with part mods and stuff. I have been looking for three years for a heavily modded series with asteroid capturing and colonization and that type of stuff. You have picked my interest and subscribe.
Yeah that is what inspired me to start this series tbh. I got tired of commenting on Matt Lownes videos to try the Outer Planets Mod, even after visiting the same planets 100 times he still hasn't! I love his channel but there is so much more to the game with mods in the picture. I am grateful that I get to help fill that niche with my videos! If anything - it indicates that there's still opportunity for KSP UA-cam to grow haha.
This comment resonates. Perhaps, they (other KSP UA-camrs) are bored with KSP and just feeding the algorithm, but teasing subscribers with a modded series and then delivering another mission to Minimus made me consider unsubscribing from one of my all time favs; but then I thought that would be a little petty after all the great entertaining content that he delivered over the years. In any case, it's a moot point since I found out about this channel!

Either way, I remember when KSP2 was a wobbly mess and ML was saying he was going back to KSP1 with mods, but then nothing much came of that (at least nothing new in terms of exploration). That's why your content is so fascinating, you take your viewers on a journey to somewhere new in KSP and at that, you do it in style!

Usually for the OPM planets i use a gravity assist on Jool to extend my orbit and change the inclination to match Sarnus better. For Sarnus I would say it saves around 300-350 deltaV but I'm not as experienced as you are and neither have I done a transfer burn straight to Sarnus so I may be wrong.
Yeah thats a good strategy! as for a direct transfer I think it takes between 2500 to 3000 dv or something like that at a 100 -115 ish degree angle, sometimes I do things a little bit more inefficently if it saves time & effort haha if I have the fuel to spare of course.

@@olecranon Haha yeah Mine too lol. You just have to remember to clean them out using the tracking station every now and then haha. One time I checked and I had like 70 boosters flying around the system on super elliptical trajectories.

Usually other creators just exploit the game to it's limits, but they doesn't even try to give such a experience of exploration as your video gave! Also, your voice it's very calm, perfect for watching this, chilling in the night. BTW, those 2 mods in the description are the only ones that you have installed?

Really love this modpack I can back from ksp2 after it’s death and gave this mod a shot haven’t landed on any planets yet in kcalbeloh system but these videos are very entertaining and give me ideas on how I can accomplish that
@@boybogue1 Yeah I've got them downloaded now lol, I've started a science mode file and only been to Minmus so far. I have only been to Duna once my whole time of playing 100+ hours don't ask... I don't know what I was doing when I was younger lol. I gotta get better at the game but I'll keep going!
@@Zelepher The skill curve is sharp but you're close!! Once you can land & return from Duna the rest of the solar system is so much easier than the start to your first moon landing. Keep it up!
Yeah here's the rundown real quick. CONTENT: Kcalbeloh System mod, Outer Planets Mod, Stockalike Station Parts Expansion Redux, VISUALS: Environmental Visual Enhancements & Scatterer. Everything else in this install is an underlying dependency that is listed/packaged alongside these mods via CKAN. Installing the ones I listed in CKAN should automatically install all of their dependencies with them if that makes sense.
Oh quick question I downloaded the space station redux mod thing but when I use freeiva it’s black like nothings there how do you fix that is there a mod I need to download to get the inside of it?
I've been moving & starting school again for the last couple weeks haha. I also have bought a new computer & have kinda been putting off finishing this mission so I can do it on my new setup haha. I'll definelty have it out by the end of the week most likely. Thanks for keeping up with the series!!
