@@flamethrowergrill well done!!! Ive done porterhouse steaks before but this is amazing. The other ones were pretty decent and some terrible
My experience specifically
Absolutely the best way to grill a steak. Followed instructions and my steak came out perfect.
Great video! Thanks for sharing
I would also like to add... Once entire grill is a hot as you can get it. turn half of it off, and be sure to rest the filet portion of the porterhouse balaced over the side without flame on it, (makes for a much juicier and sexier portion of the steak that is the most desired)
Thanks for the advice. I like that idea. I will try that this week.
10 minutes oer inch is crazy
WOW, good job. I have the exact same grill!!! SO many video is seen for porterhouses and they are just chartion it with horrible flareup flames, but you did really good. Thank you!
Right on. Thanks for watching. Love my grill. Bought another one just like it.
I made one as well!!! It was delicious!!!
Awesome! Going to spark up the grill this evening for a couple of Porter House and a T-Bone Steak. Thanks for watching....
So I just purchased 10 2" thick porterhouse Angus steaks. But I don't have a grill. My oven will go up to 500 degrees. Should I cook my steak for a total of 20 minutes? 10 minutes on each side for a medium well? Thanks for your video. I see you cooked your steak at 7.5 minutes per side as it was a 1.5" steak.
Sorry I didn't get back with you yesterday.... If you still have that amazing steak.... I would do a reverse sear in the oven.. 275 degrees until the steak is 131 degrees internal. Do you have a probe or a thermometer. It's super easy. Then you just sear it in a hot pan on the stove for a minute on each side. I don't have a reverse sear video, but here is my friend Sam doing it, and it doesn't get easier than this... Check this video out.... ua-cam.com/video/VN1ApmL2ma4/v-deo.html
Montreal steak. It's a seasoning I found!
I love that stuff!!!
I remember you from The Adams Family show
haha good one. Just wish I could turn on a light bulb in my mouth... Thanks for watching.
Idk why but my ocd went crazy when you had that chopping board upside down lol
LOL... Yeah, I don't know why I do that. It's weird, but for some reason I always have it upside down. haha. I'll try it the correct way.. Thanks for watching.
Flame Thrower Grill lol no worries you do a great job! I watch ur vids all the time now
I have a 2". I like it still practically still alive, flopping all over the plate
Yeah... very rare. I did that the other day. Was awesome. It was also about 2"
Thanks for watching...
Is there something else to use except salt for those with high blood pressure 🤷
Yes.... there are seasonings that have low sodium. There is one called Dan-O that is good with no or low sodium. Here is a link. This is Walmart, but you can get it elsewhere online.

Do you have prescription for
Nitro Glycerin pills ?
You bet! lol Thanks for watching
I love my steak almost ALIVE !
That goes for tuna steak
AKA TUNA TATAKI !
Love Tuna as well. Making some Halibut today along with a Fillet.. Surf and Turf Saturday!
@@flamethrowergrill
How about .....TUNA TATAKI ?
@@howardharaway2259 I am going to do that soon.... Never heard of it before you mentioned it.... Thanks for the tip. My girlfriend is going to be amazed. She loves seared or blackend tuna. Watch for the video. Going to blow her mind!!! Thanks again for the tip! Also, the Halibut and fillet came out amazing. Didn't film it, was for a bday party.... but will do it again in near future!
@@flamethrowergrill It is simply thee best. If you can buy a case of
Sushi grade tuna and keep it in your freezer for whenever you get a craving thats the best way. Thats what I did.
I also kept some pickled ginger,Toasted sesame seeds,Wasabi, chives
And cucumber for a bed. Hint. Instead of using soy sauce, use a sweet teriyaki sauce. To me it doesn't taste so salty and gives the tataki a nice finish.
@@howardharaway2259 My girlfriend turned me onto sushi. Never had it before. I agree, love the teriyaki better than soy. I will buy all those ingredients for sure. Thank you for the tips because I'm pretty sure when I make this for her.... it's going to be a great night! lol
LOL "You don't need anything more that SALT Just SALT...Now I like to put on Montreal Steak Seasoning"...
Thanks for watching Jimbo. I probably use too much seasoning at times. Seems the older I get the more I use...
@@flamethrowergrill No thats fine. Was just funny what you said. Couldn't resist :)
Better luck next time
Trying to get better every time. Thanks for watching.
Beef aint scarce, walk out to a field, blast a cow and voila. No grocery store needed
