I just got my first passport. I went to a post office in a less populated area outside of my city to do my appointment. I paid $60 for expedited processing and I got my passport in my mailbox exactly 14 days from when I applied. I was so surprised.
I've been using Orange Zen sim cards when I travel (my phone isn't e-sim compatible). I buy them ahead of time from Amazon. The one I got this year came with a little credit card sized sleeve that had slots for a sim card and it had that little tool to open the compartment in the phone.
Sea to Summit makes a reusable shopping tote bag that packs down real small. It can be used as intended, as a shopping bag, but I like to use it as a dirty laundry bag. If I'm on a longer trip and need to goto the laundromat, all my dirty clothes are ready to go.
I own and have used quite a few of these items. They definitely make travel easier! I never thought about the toilet seat covers, though. What a good idea! Something else I like to travel with are Colgate Wisps. They’re basically disposable toothbrushes that don’t require water. I had a flight last summer that was delayed several times, and I was happy I had my Wisps!
In addition to the toilet seat covers, I would say bring a pack of tissues. When I travelled in Colombia, many restrooms didn’t have toilet paper or you had to pay for it.
I have been to 6 of the 7 continents and I have literally never stayed anywhere that didn't provide a blow dryer. Also, they ALWAYS make you take your passport out of the holder, so don't bother with one.
Hence why I said “if you don’t like hotel blow dryers…” 😊 I personally don’t like them, as they don’t dry my hair as well as my own high-end dryer. Many people feel the same way. Also, yes, of course they make you take your passport out! It’s more for the convenience of not having to carry another wallet. 😊

If you apply for your passport at a passport agency and expedite it, it takes two weeks. We just did it.
Yes!! Good tip!
Yes! We used passport agency for the kids passports, and expedite it. It cost extra but it was worth it!.
@@WorldsofAnne I need to try this when I renew mine this year!

How about buying an international voltage converter instead of purchasing dual voltage hair dryers and stylers?
Yes this is a great option too!
