Treadmills occupy the jitters part of your brain. Moving keeps blood and endorphins pumping, keeping you alert and on task all day. Oxygen and endorphins help not just with energy, but focus. Caffeine intake is significantly reduced when at fitness desk. Weight-loss: At my best, I've clocked 320 active zone minutes (Fitbit) in a day. That's 5.3 hrs of gym time. At worst, I do 10k steps, the minimum recommendation. This saves gym time and money. Posture is improved while walking. Obviously compared to sitting; but even more than standing.

Trust me when I say, under desk pedals are the worst. The reason is how much conscious focus they require to engage. Treadmills are the best because they move you, are electric - you just have to keep up. So people often start with an under desk pedaler and get turned off; but it's the worst representation of fitness desks. Somewhere in the middle are standing steppers, like a Xiser Pro Trainer. But a treadmill, if you have the space for it, is the best by a long shot

Would love to hear your thoughts on the UREVO models, I'm looking at Spacewalk E3 (manual incline) and Spacewalk 3S (auto incline). The Egofit is out of my price range unless it shows up refurbished. BTW Flexispot has started selling some of the UREVO pads and you can bundle them with their standing desks. I'm planning to get the E5 desk, their mid-range option, and add on one of the UREVOs. Flexispot has a lot of sales and promo codes too.

Click the link in my video description, I have a tree outline breakdown with pros / cons / filters of the various models. I most frequently recommend 2S Lite or 3S. I used to recommend E3, but it has some engine overheat problems. That's really interesting about Flexispot bundles, that's some validation on Urevo in this whole budget-mill throwdown!

@@lefnire Yeah I've seen your website post, very helpful. I also saw the discussion on reddit where a user said they preferred the 3S over the 2S Lite. One thing that had me leaning towards the E3 (other than it being cheaper) was that it has a mute button on the remote, whereas the 3S does not have that feature. I also do not many see amazon reviews mentioning the overheat problem, just one or two. Fakespot shows that they removed some reviews though. A bit shady. Not sure if they fixed the issue or are just hiding it...
The beeping is a turn off for me as my SO's office is next to mine. Egofit doesn't beep correct?

@@animoney1 Interesting, where is it I saw the overheating thing.. I remember this story arc of E3->E4->E5 resulting in reduced overheating due simply to the vents; but lamented lost incline. I'll see if I can find that again; it could indeed be in removed reviews. Indeed, Egofit is quiet. Good to know about 3S over 2S Lite; I haven't gotten to test the 3S yet, but I see that it gets better reviews even though it's older, so that one had me curious. And correct, the E series has a mute button, and the result is permanent even across unplugs, which is awesome.

@@lefnire I went ahead and ordered the E3. The mute feature pushed me to buy, hopefully there's no issues with the motor.
I also will be buying a electric standing desk soon, currently have an adjustable desk topper on an old table. Looking at Flexispot E5 due to price, but also saw there was a very nice desk called the Secretlab Magnus Pro, which has a steel desktop. It's probably out of my price range but I was wondering if that would potentially solve the static shock issue from the treadmills?
I'll probably have to get a floor mat under the treadmill as my home office has carpet. Wondering if the right one will also help with the static shock.

@@animoney1 thanks for the follow up! Keep me posted on the desk, always curious what people buy. The floor mat won't help with shock, it's foot to walking pad that builds up. I wouldn't worry about it too much, you end up learning lifestyle tricks / motions to avoid shocking electronics (eg only touching plastic and wood), and you can get an ESD wrist strap worst case scenario

9:55 you walk 3mph 8 hours per day. Bro that's pretty intense lol. How many steps is that?

I stopped counting (partially because most of the treadmills' counters are tough to work with, eg they reset after you take a break). But the highest I've reached was 32 miles in one day - that was a big crunch day at work, and I physically regretted it the next day.
