This reaction was very weird for me, because usually people will start analyzing the intros and making fun theories before watching the show. But here he looks so grumpy and just looked forced to me. There was no commentary element to added to it and it looks like he had no motivation in this intro reaction at all. The small variations are what makes jojo so special and he just cut out the part he reacted. Man I just dont think you got the right spirit for this intro reaction. I get that the reaction is authentic but I don't think that matters when the content isn't very fun or informative. Critiques are supposed to be made with clear facts and logic. If you find something unimpressive then I want to know why you thought that. All you're doing is putting out thoughtless content that can't even be put into the poking fun category because the video can't be called fun, It just gets more annoying as the video progresses. I watched them didnt show my reaction cause i didnt say much. I like tons of anime. Jojo is amazing. My favorite Parts are 1, 2, and 4. Also, the lyrics themselves are the best part. They are ballad songs, songs that tell the story. Also, Jojo started almost every reference and lots of abilities given that it began in the 80s. Aside from the OVA, Jojo only recently got it's anime adaptation because Araki thought that the technology wasn't where he wanted it to be to animate his characters and parts. Persona took heavy inspiration from Jojo with stands and fabulous characters. Also, funny how you say you love dogs, because literally every dog except for one gets murdered brutally in the show. Araki did this to make you truly hate the villains. Also, the Great Days opening is kind of intentionally a contradictory opening since the days certainly aren't great and it gets pretty damn dark.
Honestly I think it's fair that you skipped the ones with the slightly changed intros. I love them but they work a lot better when actually watching the show, compared to watching them back to back which can make them drag on. The only one that doesn't apply is the alternate version of the third into for part 4 which actually changes throughout the whole thing with the music changing too.
A lot of these intro videos are admittedly a bit samey, but I'll say at least most people try to come into it with an open mind and keep cringe jokes to a minimum. This video is different, because it's just clearly a view grav filled with jokes aimed at 12 year old from 2010. Unfortunately, it's 2022. You can fill a video with as man bad jokes as you want, but gotta say the JoJo fandom aren't going to get you channel above 3k with this shit content. This might have been one of the worst reactions of anything i've ever watched. The world through this reactors eyes must be so sad. I usually wouldn't say this but take a page from other reactors reactions and just fake your content if you want to become an actual reactor, because your actual personality is miserable for viewers. It's alright to think the intros are not the hook of a series. But I wanna share a few non-spoiler facts about this anime to see if you can get more invested in it. The manga artist that made the story, Hirohiko Araki, is a huge fan of western culture. In this show, he has made a ton of references to western music, western movies, western fashion magazines and most importantly of all, western art which even helped improved his work. I would also like to mention that the music that is placed in the credits are actual English songs Araki listened to while writing each part. This manga is widely considered to be among of the most influential mangas in Japan. Not as influential as DragonBall, Naruto, Pokemon, etc. but still a pretty good influence. The final thing to expect from Jojos is that unlike most animes which seem to revolve around how powerful a character is, most battles is a mixture of a battle of wits and a battle of how much BS can a character pull out of their ass.
I weirdly enjoyed this! I mean, he was bitchin' all the time which was a bit annoying, but he's being honest about what he likes and what he doesn't which earns max respect! So yeah, I did enjoy him and watched the whole thing, heh.

Fair honest opinions. Some parts had multiple intros (3 onwards) due to length but I personally can't say I'm big on the ones with smaller changes, even if it's better off than other anime for having any changes at all.

Whoever wants people to react to openings without reacting to the show are kind of... not actually good at advising. JoJo openings' charm comes from ACTUALLY HAVING CONTEXT. For example, the slight variations would be cool when you're watching through the anime and suddenly a change catches you off-guard while watching, which at that point in the story an important plot point happened, such as a villain being revealed, etc., but if you watch them back to back it pretty much feels tasteless, pointless and repetitive. The charm is definitely lost when you're not in context, you don't understand what's going on, you don't understand what's going on in the opening and you don't understand what you should actually be hyped about. For example, at 14:52 it's literally such an insignificant and small detail that you skim over until you actually know WHY it's happening, which is then why you're hype about the openings, you find out more about it while watching the show. In my experience in having watched like a shit ton of JoJo reactions, I'd say the ones that go full-on blind have the best experience. The way their commentary is interrupted by the intro's sudden change is amazing. All in all, it's an understandable reaction, you were told to watch something that... kind of shouldn't really have been watched, and for some reason it was hyped up that high. I appreciate the honest reaction, as not everyone has the same interest. Some people go "YOO LIKE I SHOULD WATCH THIS RIGHT NOW IT LOOKS SICK I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT" and others are like "It's... just an anime opening.". Which led a lot of people into being kind of butthurt when people don't instantly get on their knees and start praising JoJo. Sorry for the wall of text, I hope you get to enjoy JoJo while avoiding most of the fandom.

Jojo is amazing. My favorite Parts are 1, 2, and 4. Also, the lyrics themselves are the best part. They are ballad songs, songs that tell the story. Also, Jojo started almost every reference and lots of abilities given that it began in the 80s. Aside from the OVA, Jojo only recently got it's anime adaptation because Araki thought that the technology wasn't where he wanted it to be to animate his characters and parts. Persona took heavy inspiration from Jojo with stands and fabulous characters. Also, funny how you say you love dogs, because literally every dog except for one gets murdered brutally in the show. Araki did this to make you truly hate the villains. Also, the Great Days opening is kind of intentionally a contradictory opening since the days certainly aren't great and it gets pretty damn dark.
Honestly I think it's fair that you skipped the ones with the slightly changed intros. I love them but they work a lot better when actually watching the show, compared to watching them back to back which can make them drag on. The only one that doesn't apply is the alternate version of the third into for part 4 which actually changes throughout the whole thing with the music changing too.
A lot of these intro videos are admittedly a bit samey, but I'll say at least most people try to come into it with an open mind and keep cringe jokes to a minimum. This video is different, because it's just clearly a view grav filled with jokes aimed at 12 year old from 2010. Unfortunately, it's 2022. You can fill a video with as man bad jokes as you want, but gotta say the JoJo fandom aren't going to get you channel above 3k with this shit content. Not everyone can be entertaining though, so good luck with your day job.

It's alright to think the intros are not the hook of a series. But I wanna share a few non-spoiler facts about this anime to see if you can get more invested in it.
The manga artist that made the story, Hirohiko Araki, is a huge fan of western culture. In this show, he has made a ton of references to western music, western movies, western fashion magazines and most importantly of all, western art which even helped improved his work.
I would also like to mention that the music that is placed in the credits are actual English songs Araki listened to while writing each part.
This manga is widely considered to be among of the most influential mangas in Japan. Not as influential as DragonBall, Naruto, Pokemon, etc. but still a pretty good influence.
The final thing to expect from Jojos is that unlike most animes which seem to revolve around how powerful a character is, most battles is a mixture of a battle of wits and a battle of how much BS can a character pull out of their ass.

Some parts had multiple intros (3 onwards) due to length but I personally can't say I'm big on the ones with smaller changes, even if it's better off than other anime for having any changes at all.
There are 8 parts part 7-8 still in manga and part 9 still in process

I smirked, as he was 1 intro away from Traitor's Requiem with its 3 different variations.
Whoever wants people to react to openings without reacting to the show are kind of... not actually good at advising. JoJo openings' charm comes from ACTUALLY HAVING CONTEXT. For example, the slight variations would be cool when you're watching through the anime and suddenly a change catches you off-guard while watching, which at that point in the story an important plot point happened, such as a villain being revealed, etc., but if you watch them back to back it pretty much feels tasteless, pointless and repetitive.
The charm is definitely lost when you're not in context, you don't understand what's going on, you don't understand what's going on in the opening and you don't understand what you should actually be hyped about. For example, at 14:52 it's literally such an insignificant and small detail that you skim over until you actually know WHY it's happening, which is then why you're hype about the openings, you find out more about it while watching the show.
In my experience in having watched like a shit ton of JoJo reactions, I'd say the ones that go full-on blind have the best experience. The way their commentary is interrupted by the intro's sudden change is amazing.
All in all, it's an understandable reaction, you were told to watch something that... kind of shouldn't really have been watched, and for some reason it was hyped up that high. I appreciate the honest reaction, as not everyone has the same interest. Some people go "YOO LIKE I SHOULD WATCH THIS RIGHT NOW IT LOOKS SICK I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT" and others are like "It's... just an anime opening.". Which led a lot of people into being kind of butthurt when people don't instantly get on their knees and start praising JoJo.
Sorry for the wall of text, I hope you get to enjoy JoJo while avoiding most of the fandom.
