To make sure it does not have any harmful bacteria, the finely ground meat is treated with chlorine gas. Then, the paste is fed back into the main batch of ground beef to extend it while keeping it 100% beef. An uproar occurred when the news made it seem like the paste was treated with liquid chlorine rather than the gas. Making it seem that they were making ground beef with chlorine mixed in.

Chicken skin contains connective tissue, with fats, oil, and collagen. It really is a big source of flavor/mouthfeel as well as being a binder. When I make stock at home, all of the skin goes in the pot so that good stuff can get extracted.
The pink slime is from the hotdogs making process. The only different between that pink slime and this is it's beef and it's ground a lot finer. Still just quality meat ground up, nothing to be afraid of

For example, my great-grandmother would've sneered at fried chicken wings. For her, wings were meant for stock or gravy. Nowadays, people spend crazy money for wings.

I usually also throw a couple pounds of chicken feet in because they're loaded with tissues that contain lots of collagen. I agree that cooking wings on their own are kind of pointless. Very little meat, messy and annoying to eat.

pink slime is from hot dog production - hot dogs are so uniform in texture because they come from a completely uniform paste. Unless a meat product feels like a hot dog in your mouth then it's not from liquified meat. If you've ever had a chicken hot dog you'll notice that the texture is way different than a nugget.

pink slime is from hot dog production - hot dogs are so uniform in texture because they come from a completely uniform paste. Unless a meat product feels like a hot dog in your mouth then it's not from liquified meat. If you've ever had a chicken hot dog you'll notice that the texture is way different than a nugget.
I don’t know about all that, but it definitely is for RP. The company would not entertain someone filming their business unless it’s to their benefit.

Because people freaked out over something that only appeared gross there will now be a slightly higher demand for meat because of the wastage of the carcass mean that is difficult to remove as recognizable meat.
The truth should not have been revealed because people will freak out over something they consider weird.
McDonald's is shit anyway and why the fuck should trash people care if they're eating finely ground carcass meat, they don't care that inhumane farming practices were used to produce the meat.

I stopped eating chicken nuggets from Mickey D’s after I kept biting into chewy bits in the nuggets. It was gross. Idk what it was, if it was part of muscle or cartilage, but it completely ruined my appetite for their nuggets. Gross.
