Thank you. Watching this video made me remember all my lectures at uni, all came flooding back. Really makes me fall in love with classical Architecture all over again
In German Dom (Duomo) as Building stands for a big and special church, it can be (if it is also the seat of the bishop) but it is not necessarily a cathedral, which is called Kathedrale in German. They are not interchangeable. The dome as architectural structure in German is called Kuppel, as a native speaker you can't really confuse the two.
There is a mistake, the consipration of Pazzi took place in the cathedral of Florence not in the San Lorenzo church so Lorenzo the Magnificent managed to escape in the old sacristy in the cathedral
The "campanile" is the bell tower, not "campanila" either "campanilla". I have never seen a campanile separated from the main building. Thanks for the video.
Wonderful....and.... Campanella, no "eee" sound! "ella", don't pick up bad pronunciation! Ospedale degli Innocenti "degli" (like in "million") (Not "deg-li")! "Me`dici", not "Medi`ci"! Giuliano and Lorenzo were attacked in the Duomo, not St Lorenzo!

The Pazzi conspiracy happened at the Duomo, not San Lorenzo. And Lorenzo was Guiliano's older brother. Awesome video--I love it!
