I was staying with my mom when she was on hospice at home the last couple of months of her life. A few days before she died she was just staring toward the end of her bed. I asked her what’s she looking at, she turned to me and smiled and said “they’re all here waiting for me.” I didn’t even ask her who because I knew who she meant… her family and my Dad were patiently waiting to guide her on her journey. That comforted her and me even more. It was beautiful.

Was with several close family members who were dying. Toward the end, they stared ahead to foor of their bed and looked up - and smiled. I knew that they were seeing those who had gone before them to welcome and escort them to their new home.

When my uncle died, my aunt was devastated to the point of suicide. She said the next night he came to her and basically told her he was fine and that she needed to get her act together. So she did!

My 106 year old grandmother is seeing angels and hearing hymns. I'm waiting for my departed grandfather to come for her❤🎉

My mom passed on last June. While she was bedridden at home, I have seen on so many occassions that she was staring blankly into a corner of her bedroom. She even asked me who was that lady holding a baby in her room when there was no one else besides myself and her. On the day she passed, i saw her opening her eyes despite sleeping all the time and looking into a corner and i knew at that moment that my late dad had come to receive her. I held her hands and then she passed. I miss her so so much.

My dad was on life support and immediately after his doctor pulled the plug, my dad's eyes were wide open and tears were softly flowing down his cheeks. His gaze was fixated on the ceiling and those of us in his room KNEW my dad saw his angels coming to carry him to Heaven. It was amazing 😂
Two years ago, I pulled my husband off life support, but he never regained consciousness and we (me, our son and his wife and my husband’s best friend) didn’t observe that he saw anything. But he was a strong Christian who lived a life that showed that he had faith in Jesus as his savior, so I will see him again. My husband, Kevan, died of covid at the age of 64.

My father 2 days before he passed and before we put him on a sleep sedation at his request, in hospice he was very agitated but all of the sudden he was staring behind me and his sister and reached up in the air with both arms and said in a small voice "mommy"...he was 73, mother passed when he was 47
My uncle was 98 when he died. His oldest son, who had been a hospital chaplain earlier in his career, stayed with him at the end. My uncle's last words, according to his son, was "Mommy!"
That would have creeped me OUT.

@nathanielovaughn2145 myself and his sister were yes, freaked out for a second (it's her mother too) but I can't explain, there was a distant look in dad's eyes and they weren't even the same normal color anymore, he was seeing what was comforting to him 60 years ago (all his brothers and sisters were put in foster homes when dad was 13) so for him to regress back to his mother's comfort when at 13 his life was upside-down and honestly dad had to care for all his 8 siblings because mother and father left him as the oldest to change diapers, care for a newborn, see a crib death he was blamed for at 10 yrs old because mom and dad were out drinking and gambling for him to reach out and say mommy before he passed is something maybe we just need, wanted?
My mother in law passed last week. Your videos helped me to understand the process she went through at each stage. She had a 12 hour dead relatives and pets party on the last day she was vocal. It was very enlightening for me as an observer. At one point she was in tears. I asked why. She said I just learned I’m smart. We all have our insecurities. She really was smart. But by her comment I felt she was already going through the end of life movie where she sees herself as others do. It was a tender sweet moment that I will treasure. And oh, my she had several cats over her long lived life and many seemed to visit on that day. Thank you Julie. You are such a good teacher on a topic that most people have little experience.

While visiting my father who was in palliative care, he started staring at a chair against the wall at the end of his bed. I was talking to him but he clearly was fixated on the chair. Finally he asked me, without moving his eyes, if that was his mother sitting in the chair. He was very close to his mother. I said maybe it was and it kind of shook me. But because of going through my father’s death, I decided to become a hospice volunteer, which did for 2 years. Lots of people asked how I could do that. My answer was always the same and straight from the heart. “ I consider it an honour to be able to provide company while someone passes from this world to the next.” Unfortunately, these days families are often living far apart and can’t always be there for their loved ones but a volunteer can.❤️
Wow ty, I never thought of that. Now I am going to look for a place that will hopefully let myself be a volunteer. I truly love helping people. When I was in my early 20's I worked for a pesticide and fertilizer company as a truck driver then was promoted to warehouse manager and dispatch. Long story, short, in winter all drivers got laid off but I got the benefits and 40 hour weeks still. Well I had very few chores to do, I had to be there to run the weigh scale we had on the property. But also I had to always have coffee on for when the old farmers wanted to stop in and chat or give me a check for ther Bill's, I learned so much from them talking and teaching me things over the years. Now that I'm 54 I wanna repay them by lending a helping hand. This life is only temporary till we go home forever with god. Be more empathetic and less judgemental and don't believe what's on the news. God bless 🙏
Wow, thank you for being a hospital volunteer. I couldn't be with my uncle when they turned off his life support; I got there 2 hours later. I was so grateful to the young volunteers who assured me that he 'left quickly in no pain.' I was so grieved that I didn't even think to thank them for being there with him. Your volunteer work is so important...thank you again!

When i was a baby, my mum became critically ill ,with pneumonia and pleurisy. My dad was working night shift, and she was at home with 3 babies ( triplets) She remembered feeling so ill, she thought she'd die. She saw all her deceased relatives, including her parents, standing around the bed. She didn't know her dad so well, as he'd been at War for 6 years, then died.She'd built a very deep bond with her mum. Her mum stepped forward to embrace her, but her dad held her back. He said " no. its not her time, she has the babies to care for". Her dad came forward snd sat by her side. She said she understood that, if her mum came to her, she'd want to go with her. They remained with her, until my dad returned home from work. Then they disappeared, and she was sent to Hospital, where she recovered. Just 1of many supernatural experiences, that my mum had, during her life...
This happened with my husband January 5th. It was a very humbling to me. I also asked him what it was. He just smiled, so I said I'm going to touch what your looking at and I did. I miss my hubby. My Texas Twinkie. I sent him off and did everything in honor of him. So sad he made it only to 61. I miss him. I made a shrine for him using the cowboy hat and boots he wore when we were married.

My 94 yr old mom just passed away. Two days before she kept telling me my brother was right there beside her bed. He had died back in 1960 when he was 6. She told me he was there several times and would get upset that I didn’t see him too. I truly believe she saw him.

We lived with Mom her last few years to provide full time care as her health and mobility declined significantly. Her final year saw a rapid deterioration in lung, heart and kidney function with occasional hallucinations. About 3-4 months before Mom passed, we heard her giggling and telling our cat Nollie, "I know you're not really there but you need to get down off the bed before you do something naughty." I went in and played along, shooing the invisible cat off Mom's bed and telling him to go use the box. Nollie had crossed the 🌈 bridge a year before, but we like to think he came back to visit Mom and distract her from her severe pain. Nollie was Mom's favorite "grandkitty" who always slept with her when she'd come visit, and she spoiled him rotten. 😄 If Mom was going to vision anyone, it would be a cat 😺

When I flew as a critical care flight nurse. One patient that I fondly remember, was not doing well and was dying in front of us and there was really nothing anyone could have done for her. She opened her eyes on the flight and said to me "Do you see them?" I said what? Do you see them all around us. and I still didn't understand. The patient finally said, do you see the angels around us? I said no but I told her I will look. It seemed to give her great comfort knowing this and I admit everything seemed more quiet, the mood felt light, and I was so grateful to share in a moment like this. We prayed together. Sometimes you do that. There wasn't anything we really could do for her except comfort care. That flight will always remain with me. Whether I have a bad day or a good day I think back to that transport and it always brings some peace to my life.
Yup, we are all assigned to an Angel since birth that are with us till death. Sometimes we have many Angels for different reasons & circumstances. She was finally meeting her Angel Team to bring her to the next Transition for Transformation. You witnessed something special & rare. The patient & the angels knew you did your best, it was bigger than anything you could’ve ever done Medically cause it was her time. Also, You feeling the energy lighter was them helping you to have peace, not to worry. 🤍✨

The morning my dad passed, he kept talking to someone and had a huge smile on his face and when I asked him what he was doing, he just looked at me like he didn’t know what I was talking about. It was just a few hours later that he passed of a silent heart attack. I’m convinced he was talking and laughing with my mom, who had passed 2 years prior.

My wife of 40 years is in this stage right now. If there were one thing I could tell young people is to enjoy every day because five minutes from now it will all be just a memory. It is almost more than I can bare.

I’m so sorry. It is profoundly hard. There’s no getting around it. I know. Take breaks. Watch something funny, or something engrossing. You need to zone out, and give yourself some space, while you are supporting her. If it is over by the time you read this, take some time to, space out for a while. Don’t put pressure on yourself, just let yourself be numb for a while. It’s just hard. It will get better. Slowly. Sending you prayers and love.
WOW - this account brought back memories for me. In Oct 2013, my 92 year old mother was hospitalized with a broken hip. The next day (Saturday), they operated on her. While visiting her Monday morning, I saw this. Despite just having surgery, my mother rose up from a lying position, turned to the right, looking ahead, saying "MOMMY! MOMMY! MOMMY!" and turned to the left. (note that her mother died 80 years before). Her health declined after that and her eyes remained closed until her last moments, when on Saturday morning, her eyes opened wide, and she stared, looking upward to the right, and then both eye lids slowly closed like a curtain being lowered. Jesus, I trust in You! (always pray the Divine Mercy chaplet for the dying)
Yes! The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a powerful & beautiful prayer! To be said anytime, but especially during the 3 o'clock hour (when Christ died) & especially before those that are dying. Jesus revealed to St. Faustina, "Write that when they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the merciful Savior (Diary, 1541) & "At the hour of their death, I defend as My own glory every soul that will say this chaplet; or when others say it for a dying person, the indulgence is the same" (Diary, 811). Thank you for mentioning this - so many do not know about this powerful prayer!
@@annmarieschmidt4828 I have had multiple dreams about the importance of the Divine Mercy chaplet prayers, and specifically about the prayer "Jesus, I trust in You!". In dreams where I saw myself in extreme danger (eg taking shelter because of a tornado) I took shelter, and prayed "Jesus, I trust in You" out loud. Others joined me and prayed "Jesus, I trust in You" out loud. And we were protected from the tornado. In another dream, which one might consider an end of life dream, I saw myself standing on a very narrow lit path. Extreme darkness was on either side of me. Jesus of Divine Mercy was standing a few feet in front of me, His eyes fixed on mine. I walked looking straight ahead, staring at Him and with every step I took, I prayed out loud "Jesus, I trust in You." until I stood before Him and He embraced me. Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet every day. The novena begins on Good Friday and Divine Mercy Sunday is April 7 (one day before the North American eclipse). Thank you dear sister in Christ Jesus our Lord. God bless you!
Yes the Divine Mercy chaplet is a must for the dying! I would also use holy water around the person and on the person
If she were a Buddhist when she was dying, perhaps she would have seen a preceding Dalai Lama. Or if a Muslim, she might have seen Mohammed. Or if a Jew, perhaps Abraham. It's all relative to what a person expects and wants.

Same. I’m almost 74 (in two weeks), and almost all my family and friends and pets have gone ahead of me (only my husband, brother, one friend and one cat remain), and I’m very much looking forward to a big reunion when I get to the other side!

My Mom had passed and I had been upset as we were close. One night in a dream unlike anything I ever had before as if it were the best HD screen ever my Mom appeared on a bright screen and said, "I'm ok. Stop worrying. You need to do what are here to do." Then the screen closed and the dream ended. I had a boss who was a real teacher in life. She was tough but fair and more importantly taught me about the world of work. I attended her wake and left a note for the family. Her sister wrote a nice note to me afterwards. One night a few days after my attending my former bosses wake I had a dream with the same clear HD screen and my former boss appeared and said, "Thank you." And then the dream ended. There is a lot to the visionings.
Those were real experiences not dreams!
My grandmother saw her son, and parents. My father asked me who all the people around me were in his room and he was talking to his father. My brother's girlfriend told him to open the door so the angel could leave. A friend told me that she was helping her mother to walk down the hallway and she asked her did she see the beautiful city. She told her no. Her mother described what heaven looked like to her. These experiences and listening to you makes death an exciting adventure and not morbid. Thank you SO much!

@@marysmith7596 So how do you explain Luke 10 where’s an expert in the law asked Jesus, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” And Jesus asked him what is written in the Law. The man told him “love the Lord you God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all you mind, and, Love you neighbor as yourself.” Jesus replied, you have answered correctly. DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE. Sounds like Jesus is a bit more open about who goes to heaven than you. Imagine that!
@@sandihendrickson3393 So why did JESUS CHRIST die on the cross for us if we could do this one commandment and get into HEAVEN not saying we should not LOVE our neighbor as our self. People back then were still under the law and JESUS died so we are under GRACE and cleansed from our sins by HIS precious BLOOD that's how we GET BORN AGAIN. Once we GET SAVED, BORN AGAIN JESUS CHRIST helps us to LOVE everyone.

I know that your videos are aimed at families facing the loss of loved ones, but I don't know if you understand the impact you have on us seniors that have discovered your videos.
Being 74, the idea of my life ending occurs to me often. Your videos take a lot of the mystery and fear out of the process.

I have a video of my husband talking about seeing our dead cat. He had Glioblastoma and just turned 42, He kept saying he comes to visit and sits at the end of the bed, I said do you like when he visits you? He said yeah I like his little visits but too long because I get confused. I knew right away he was going to die sooner than later once he started seeing Griffin, I asked him if he sees my father, he said I do but he's always around you. I literally had chills. 😢
I totally believe that! Our loved ones are all around us. I love knowing that! I have had amazing pets that I so hope to see again and love them!

I must say, you and people like Julie are very special. My X-wife is a nurse and she would come home in tears sometimes with similar stories. It touched me and made me realize that nurses are the best. When my mother passed 3 years ago, I got a chance to see that death stare. But at the time I didn’t understand it.
The day before my mom passed on, she told me she saw her mom and siblings standing on the foot of her bed. I said how beautiful for her, but she didn't smiled. I guess she wanted to stay on this earth longer, but the cancer was stronger. Miss her every day😢❤

Oh thank you. My best friend passed away in my arms last Sunday...I know her Mom who passed last year, and Moms dog Patches, who died this past Christmas, were probably waiting for her.
What a beautiful story and one that I whole-heartedly believe because I think when you're near the end of life the veil gets pulled back and you finally get a glimpse into what home really feels and looks like. Bless this man and his loving wife, I suspect it won't be long before they are both reunited again when she gets to go home and join him.
My Dad died two months ago and a few days before he died he was looking past us and around us and I asked him what he was looking at. He said "my mom". She had died back in 1995. It was very comforting to me to think that my grandma had come to help my Dad and comfort him in those last days of his life. ❤️
A while back I had a sweet old cat doing the death stare.. she was quite old and feeble... And loved very much... One day while perched sitting on an end table staring at the corner of the wall, one of my young children asked me "dad, what's she staring at ? "... I told her what I knew in my heart .. l told her she was staring at angles... She passed away not more than a couple of weeks later.. 😿

I had to put my 18 yr-old dog, Wally, to sleep. He was suffering from painful seizures and arthritis and he was completely blind, deaf and had lost his sense of smell. I took him to my Dad's old Vet clinic. I had my arms wrapped around him as he lay on the metal exam table and was crying my eyes out. The moment the Vet gave him the shot that stopped his heart, I both saw and felt Wally get up, walk through my arms, and sit next to me on the table. It tingled where he walked thru me, and he appeared grayish, hazy, and pixelated; it was like I was watching an old black and white movie. He also looked like he did when he was around two years old and healthy. I immediately stopped crying, and I either told my Mom and the Vet what I witnessed or I asked them if they saw it too, however, based on their reactions, which consisted of them shooting each other quick, concerned glances that said, "OMG! She's gone insane from grief!" - they obviously didn't see it, but I don't care- I know what I saw and felt. I also felt him sitting on my lap the entire drive home, and once there, he slowly faded from this realm or dimension. I thank God for giving me such a loving and beautiful gift. I try to pass it on to others who may be mourning the loss of a pet. I used to believe that animals have souls like we humans do, but now I KNOW they do!

As pregnant moms we read books, watch videos and even take classes on birthing! By the time the baby is ready to escape the womb, most of us are pretty educated! We definitely can’t say the same is out there for the dying process! Your videos give us what we need to face death…thank you!
my mil died on this jan 22. on the 20th, she had pointed to the ceiling and counted . i said " you counting tiles?" she says " counting all the people...on the other side" a few hours later , she smiled , pointed and said " crib!!!" we asked who was the baby ? she said "bimini's babies. hiiii babies" i had multiple miscarriages , so that blew my mind. the next day she had pretty much lost her speech , and the morning after she was gone
My brother died a year ago from sepsis. He was in the hospital the last week of his life, and a few days before he passed, his gaze was fixed on a spot near the ceiling. His son and I figured he was just "out of it" from the meds he was on. He never spoke after that, but after watching many of your videos I understand that he was transitioning. Interestingly enough, a few weeks after he left us, my brother appeared in a dream to my husband....looking happy and nicely dressed . He said "I guess I tricked you all into thinking I was dead". Then another time he came to my husband again and was working on our car (kind of a hoot because my brother knew nothing about cars). Its interesting to me that he keeps showing up in my husband's dreams since they weren't especially close.
My husband had a massive stroke no talking or moving at all. Dr sent him in hospice. So beautiful place. He started staring at door but one day he pulled sheet off and tried getting out of bed he hadn’t moved in 10 days. He died next morning
My father's birthday is August 25th. He passed away in 1982 when I was 5 years old. On August 25, 2016 my mom passed away suddenly. When we found her she had obviously gotten up that morning, had breakfast, taken her medication, and spoken with her best friend of over 70 years. She had placed the cordless phone back on its base, and it looked like she had just sat on the side of her bed, laid back, and transitioned. She was still holding her cane in one hand and the bedpost with the other. One of my friends thinks that my dad came back for her on his birthday and that it's a beautiful love story. If course, I'm devastating by the loss of my mother, but I would like to believe what my friend said happened because it means that she did not die alone. I was at work and my sister lives 2 hours away. If my dad was there to take that journey with her, I'm at peace with that. For anyone piecing the timeline together, I found my mother dead on my late father's birthday. It hit me hard, but I'm happy that they are together again.

I have watched, read and listened to 100s (maybe 1000) accounts that all say the same thing, NDE and Visioning. I am convinced this is not all there is. We definitely have a life after this one.
My dad died In hospice in 2016. 3 days before he passed I was sitting with him And he was in bed. At one point he raised both of his arms to the ceiling and said something that sounded like I see 3. It was kind of hard to discern because he kind of mumbled it but that's what it sounded like to me. His mother father and brother and had all passed before him. I like to tell myself they were waiting for him...
My most precious & most loving father just passed away on March 13th 2024 & he passed at 90 years old, & my sister & I took full time care of him with our fathers most loving Hospice Nursing Care Team & he passed away with his very sharp mind & brain, but he kept his eyes shut for the 3 days before his death on earth & my most loving sister & myself both held his hands & we both held his beautiful head until he took his last breath. God Bless our mother & father who are living their new life in Jesus Christ for their Eternities. 😪💐❤️✝️❤️💐
I worked for hospice for years. I saw it all!! I was over qualified for my job as an Aide. I loved my work. The Aide's do all the work while the nurse's spent there time in the med room and charting. I saw many deaths and a man died in my arms while I was sitting him up. Death is as sacred as birth.
I am an RN. The meds can be very time consuming, as well as charting for legal purposes. As a former hospice nurse who traveled & then a Director of Nursing for a nursing home striking a balance is difficult. Nurses prefer hands on care but have serious responsibilities too. Both titles and jobs are critically important.
My mother passed away last month in hospice so I was able to be at her side. I love your comment because the best description I could muster up about how I felt the last two days of her life was that while I grieve her and it brought so many tears, it felt like I was guiding her out and comforting her the same way we do with a mother in labor. It felt like such a sacred experience.
You have such a gift in communicating. Death is as normal as birth (is what my Mom used to say). 🙏🏼
On 1/28 my mom had an episode of visioning. She stared at one spot just as you described and had an amazed look on her face. I asked what she sees and she said she saw God. Later, she looked at the same spot and started talking, said “oh Panda and my sons dog”,
Both dogs passed many years ago and she never talks about them. Then looked at me and said she saw her mother who told her she “would be coming home soon”. Mom has dementia and is very confused and doesn’t make a lot of sense most of the time. She was very alert and oriented when this occurred. She has since said a couple of times that her mother will be coming and she didn’t know when. I care for her at home with hospice and cherish every day! ❤

I had a relative who had the death stares at the end of her life (very last week) and when we would ask her what she was seeing she said it was the most beautiful tree she had seen in her life! It was apparently right beside her bed which was in a hospital room as she had cancer and other complications in her last months of life on Earth. I believed her.
I appreciate everything Nurse Julie is teaching everyone who is going through this with a loved one. I think it is very courageous and you are all lucky to have found her.

My Grandmother had a heart attack in 1978 and died in the Hospital. My Mother and I were taking turns sitting with her in the ICU room. Wlile I was sitting with her she wasn't able to speak or even open her eyes. The monitor on the wall behind her bed was showing a very erratic heartbeat and then showed a somewhat better beat. Then she smiled and said "Sweet Jesus" as the monitor flat lined. I was devistated of course but I was comforted knowing that Jesus had came and took her home.
I love "pleasantly confused," it's such a beautiful mercy.
Those are my favorite patients. They can say the most profound things or unintentionally hilarious.
In the Icelandic Sagas they were usually a dead relative called a "fetch" (translation). Wonderful story, Julie. There is so little we know.

Regrettably all of my yellow Penguin sagas are gone, so I can't tell you. My reading was done over 35 years ago. Jane Smiley had done much research on the Icelandic literature, and she wrote a wonderful book called "The Greenlanders." It mentions a fetch, the dead Kollgrim, seen by Helga. She dies shortly afterwards in childbirth on page 544 (555 last page). Wish I still had my penguins. @@wms72

Oh boy, I was a palliative care nurse in hospital and in community. What an honour to help families and clients. I always asked if they were comfortable to share photos and stories of the past, before the illness came. It was the best calling ever. I miss it.
When my mom was on the hospice in a facility, she used to say she saw Dad out in the hallway who had passed 6 months before. My sister always told me afterwards that she must just be seeing somebody who had similar looks but I believe she could really see him in her mind.
Believe in one hand and poop in the other and what do you have? A stink stinky hand...😂
This connects so many dots for me. My Mom was suffering from severe strokes and Alzheimer’s, so she couldn’t vocalize what she was seeing during her last few days. She could sometimes string together a few words, and she would gaze at the corner of the room, look puzzled and ask me, “Nana (her mom) is dead, right?” I would tell her she had been gone for 30 years, but she would look confused. In retrospect, she was clearly seeing Nana, and drifting in and out to remember if she was dead or not. And speaking of smiles, the last day she was alive, she spoke no words, but would just smile at everyone. She looked so happy.
After my mom passed the family went to Florida for her funeral. Some family members stayed at a hotel some stayed with dad at their home. I had a dream about mom and woke in tears. To my surprise when I woke there was a bright light in the corner of the room near the ceiling and in my mind I heard my mom tell me not to cry because she was fine, and then it was as if she gave me a warm hug.
This event of visioning and death stare has happened to quite a few of my family members in the past. While I was visiting with my mom in her hospital room, she was staring at the ceiling. She was in the terminal stage of stomach cancer. I asked her what she was looking at. She turned and looked at me. She said,”Don’t you see all the clowns.” She had a beautiful smile on her face. She was telling me that they were so funny. She told me all of them were making funny faces which made her smile. A few weeks after that, she passed away. In the end, seeing her smile and happy, gave me comfort.
I lost my mother-in-law last Sunday I want to thank you for your videos it helped me deal with the loss easier

this was a wonderful story! found this channel through visioning and here i am again at visioning... thank you to whoever gifted me a membership. really appreciate it. i know this isnt going to compare to anyone married 70 something yrs. but, found this channel just in time for really my best friend my cat getting ready to pass away he was 20 yrs old. we were very close cause ive been sick & he spent all his time on my pillow for several yrs. i asked him to pls dont hide away but stay with me when it was time, and he did. stayed up with him two nights in a row because i could feel the energy change. he was quiet all night and i stayed up. i could have checked his heartbeat but i couldnt make myself. he was very still. at dawn he moved, he sat up suddenly. i was able to put my hands on him and hold him. in that moment he looked past me and held up his paw and mewed like a small kitten would. he looked past me and mewed like a small kitten and then i heard what i knew was the death rattle and he laid back down. i know this wont compare to long mariages or anything and he is not even human. but this is what happened. im so thankful it went that way and we were together. now i look for him because thast how i'll know its my time. im so glad to have been that much more ready to help him. thank you
Our cat of 17-1/2 years passed away two nights ago. He died in my wife's arms. We miss him dearly!

No need to compare with a marriage. If your cat was your best friend, then your cat was your best friend and his death is just as significant to you. I too had a "best friend" cat and her death was the hardest I ever grieved.

Julie, thank you for the huge effort in putting these videos out for all of us letting a loved one go. My mom passed a few weeks ago from Lewy Body Dementia w/ Parkinsonism. She had been suffering but always did her best to rally and not complain until one Monday she just stopped talking. She started staring at the ceiling, and reaching up and sideways while sometimes taking imaginary food and eating it. This occurred for a week or so before she started the breathing that indicated death was coming. It was so comforting to have the knowledge you provided us to be aware of how to notice and prepare. I used to visit elderly people for Red Cross and one lady took me aside and said that her husband (who died the year before) sat on her bed every night, waiting for her and she wanted to know what to do. I said "go with him" and the light went on in her eyes, she was so happy, and the following Friday she died. She went with him. ❤
Aww. Such a sweet story ❤ My mom was in a hospice facility & we saw her do the death stare frequently. She would also break out into a huge smile & she also reached her hands out to someone. I think it was my Dad. It brought me peace.

Julie thank you for all your videos. I have experienced end of life with my mother, two brothers, my sister and a friend. I experienced a lot of beautiful visionings and some not so nice but im so grateful that i was there for each. I had two other brothers that passed and i was not there for them. My daughter passed away in 2020 and i was not there eith her due to covid and she had moved to California and couldn't get to her. I struggle with that I wasnt there for her, my dear sweet baby girl. ❤

I witnessed such death stare and vision when my father died. He definitely appeared to me that he he saw someone on the end of the bed. He appeared really surprised. Then he appeared to be listening to what they were saying for a brief moment and then he made a sign with his head like "OK". It appeared they asked him if he was ready. Then he died. Just like that in front of me. I was speaking to him softly just before he say his vision, and he was not minding me at all. I realized quickly that he was focused on something else. I, of course, did not see who was at the end of the bed, but from his gaze it was like he acknowledged 3 spirits (for lack of a better word). Thanks. It make what I witnessed even more special.
If you understand the final phases of life, it is indeed an honour to share this with a loved one. Both of my parents died in peace, by themselves. My mother waited till she was alone in the quietest hours to go. In the 24 hours prior I had been feeling the spirits of her family. My father died, listening to my voice, as I chatted and laughed to the nurses in the hallway. I believe they both chose the way they wanted to go.

This story gave me goosebumps and brought me to tears. My parents will celebrate their 58th anniversary this year and I hope this will happen when one of them passes. I didn't see it with my 99.5 yo Gran was in hospice, but I do hope her loved ones were waiting for her. 💗 A friend's mom saw 3 loved ones who had passed shortly before she did. 😇
My Mom told me that when her Mom was on her death bed she suddenly became animated & started staring at a point on a wall & started repeating "Jesus, Jesus." Of course no one else saw anything at the wall. She passes shortly thereafter.

My father-in-law spent the last night of his life staring up at the corner of the hospital room, arms outreached in great joy, and tearing off his hospital gown to try to climb to where he was looking. I kept putting his gown back on him, and he kept tearing it off to try to go up. I’ve never experienced such joy. He died the next morning. We didn’t know it was his last night. And I had the privilege of being with him and seeing for myself that he knew where he was going and it was immensely joyful.
My mum is terminal and I've been looking after her for 6 months and she experiences this daily.

You're an angel. You sharing your experience is enormously beneficial. Hospice nurses play an extremely important role and helped me and my loved ones immensely when we were experiencing the deaths of loved ones. Just having a calm, compassionate person's presence who understands the dying process is so important and beneficial to the one who is passing and to their loved ones. When my mom died, she was a hospice patient in the hospital. She had been sedated with heavy doses of morphine. She had been unresponsive and all of a sudden she sits up straight in bed (without any assistance using her arms) has the death stare and looks from one side of the room to the other and the she laid down. It scared the pants off of us.

I see my 'grandparent' ,as I call them, 5 days a week and I saw many of them 'leave'. People ask me how I deal with death, and I tell them its the stare you talk about. That is beautiful. I can't think of a more wholesome, warming and loving passing. I have huge respect for the lady, she accepted it with such grace, and probably guaranteed that her husband would do the same. Sounds like she was grateful for his life, and was comfortable on the whole with his passing over. To do that only a week after losing her own sister? To be so close to losing someone who was obviously her soul mate, and to keep caring for him in such a tender manner... that really touched me. I mean, wow. The older generation is just amazing.
my sister wrote that she was seeing angels when my mom asked her what she was looking at...my sister could no longer speak because of a stroke...God bless her sweet soul.
My mom was seeing things and peeps for about 6 to 8 months before she passed. She was very alert with no dementia. Thx

Can you subscribe to the idea something can come from nothing? From solar systems to life on earth, animals to plants, all came from nothing, or gas? Animals are run by electricity. Ever sense vibrations? Unseen oras? Then perhaps a new life form has developed and there are now angels and the spirits of people who have died and assended to this new plane.
She cites so many examples that it surely could be real, and yes, it is comforting. If not real, it's still a nice way to depart.

Even though I don't know this couple, I instantly fell in love with them. I believe this gentleman was seeing Jesus, and that makes me so happy for him. I also believe his sister-in-law came to him after she passed, letting him know she was waiting for him. God bless him, and most definitely, bless his sweet wife. I experienced this with my grandfather who passed away after a long fight with prostate cancer. During his last few days, he used to stare at the ceiling and follow his eyes to the end of his bed. When my dad asked him who is it, he said they've come down, they are waiting for me. He was at peace with his family by his side when he passed away. He was very fond of his grand kids and his wish was to gift us shoes. A week before he passed, he called me and gave me money to buy me and my brother some nice shoes. He fulfilled his wish and went to sleep

I was my wife's Caregiver, she asked me too, through our journey with her Early Onset Alzheimer's. Real close to the end, my German Shepherd never left her side. My wife made a noise and looked at the ceiling in the corner. She was smiling and happy, thing was, my German Shepherd was watching too. She passed the day after.
I like that no one says they are talking to someone who is still alive but not there physically. When I helped my mom transition, I was trying to keep it together and tell her that someone will be helping her through. I didnt know this. I didn’t know what else to say. Then mom started crying and pushing a smile to her side. My youngest niece asked my sister who the older people in the corner were. We did not have any older people there. I was like, okay! I’m done. The rest of you please go suddenly and unexpected. Lol. Sometimes I wonder if all that even happened.
What a wonderful and rewarding job u have! God has equipped u personally to be the guide for those who are losing loved ones and he’s given u the privilege to see those suffering being escorted into Heaven!!!! That is a very special calling and it’s so amazing to see u receiving that call and living it out and SHARING WITH US!!! Thank u so very much for sharing! U have no idea how much u r helping us all!!! My middle brother and I have been thru hospice with my mom, daddy, and our oldest brother! It has been the absolute hardest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. Amazing stories. It's like the magical feeling in the room during a child's birth. It can feel like you are in another dimension briefly. When my mom passed, she just would look at the ceiling. I felt like I could feel/see my fathers presence, sitting in a chair by the bed.
I lost my mom on February 20, 2024. Mom recognized all of her children. She would speak with everyone. She often would look passed everyone in the room and focus on what was directly in front of her. I asked her what she was looking at and she didn't answer me. I was her care giver for her last 2 years. And I really got to know my mom.
The last hour she was with us she was very vocal. I'm not sure who she was talking to, but she was telling them, "no!". I called my older brother and told him whatever he wanted and needed to say, now was the time. He said what he wanted to say to her. She yelled her boyfriends name. (He passed away several years before she did) and then she was gone. She found him. And that was amazing to me. She loved him so much and he loved and respected her.
