I started watching your channel primarily for the Suzuki 800DE content. However, your reviews on other products are also excellent and as good as any channel on UA-cam. Keep up the great work.
When you mentioned MT Glorious , it brought back a time in 1978 riding my Honda 750 ( And scraping the pegs , shit suspension ) . Now I'm on a Himalayan and waiting to fit the Dualventure for a test run . Thanks for the info and review . Can't keep up with you young lads anymore , but still get the same thrill riding as I did many years ago . Cheers .
I have a very similar setup on my T7 - Dualventure in the front, and Adventure in the rear, both tubeless-type but run with tubes. I got a puncture on day on the rear and after the tire warms up a bit from either the sun or being on the road, it really softens up quite a bit which allows for much easier removal and installation.
Does the Dualventure give you confidence in the front not tucking on loose surface , I'm currently running Anakee wild front and Rallz rear, I just never fully trust the front on my T7, the Anakee is great road tyre but I just want a bit more bite offroad.
Enjoy the performance of these great tires. Be ready to flip the front every 2000kms or they scallop as bad as the Pirellis. Best mileage I’ve had of any tire in that class. Enjoying your videos!
I absolutely love the Motoz Dual Venture TT tyre. I have done about 12000Km on one front tyre (reversed it on the rim at 8000) and on my third rear tyre. Rode it on probably 1 third tar to 2 thirds dirt (all types). Will buy it again. 2021 CRF300 Rally 👍
@@onthebackwheel yes very happy in all conditions and terrain. I run about 22 front and 20 rear. I wish I could post a pick of it on here because the TT ie tubed version is far more aggressive than the tubeless version. The rear tyres I have run with it are the Pirelli MT21, Dunlop D603, and just finishing with a Maxxis M6006 (all 120/80-18). I will probably go with a new set of the Motoz DV TT front again and another Dunlop D603.
I had DualVenture and Rallz rear both tube type on my KLR 650. The Rally is load but works great. With the DualVenture I get head shake/ speed wobble above 65/70 mph. I changed the rear and the wobble was still there. I changed the front and the wobble was gone. I used the set in a mostly dirt trip and they worked great. But for every day riding I had to replace the front after 900 miles. I live in west Texas and everything is really spread out and all roads have a 75 mph speed limit. Probably just acKLR thing. The Rallz rear is about done. Close to 4000 miles on it I think. Thanks for the videos!
I have the tubeless rallz front and rear. They started their life on a tiger 1200 rally explorer then onto a 901 expedition. The rear has done 12,000kms of being really flogged… now only about 3mm in the centre. The front is pretty good, personally I never break hard on bitumen as I ride VERY conservatively on-road. They could get another 10-12,000 out of the front and be “legal” but I am in the habit of just swapping both when I do the rear. Will keep one 1/2 worn front around just in case one day I get a damaged front mid rear wear cycle.
I have the Rallz on the front tire of my Africa Twin, it has since they were installed wanted to get into a fish tail semi-tank slap motion at any speed above 70mph on the tarmac. I don’t recommend the rallz on the front however, on the back I enjoy it.
