I’ve traveled on the road with bands and also worked on movies a bit and was on the road in my car full time and loved it. Buying a Vistabule teardrop and going to spend my time in that for as long as I want to…I know what you mean about being stuck in one place. As a writer and musician there’s something about minimalism and mobility that really appeals to me. 😎

I found your channel through the teardrop video. I am about to sell my 3 bedroom home and before I can find an affordable parcel of land I want to travel with my dog. Thanks so much for the information I dont feel so uneasy about going alone now. Super excited🎉

oh cool! did you find me through Tristan from SUV RVing? that was a great day. i’ve been watching him for years, so it was cool to meet him.
you will absolutely love traveling solo! i did it for a year, and i’m currently in plans to live on the road by myself for a few years.
one of my favorite features of having a youtube channel is being able to spread knowledge of solo traveling and giving others advice/inspiration to follow their dreams and explore the world of full time traveling. sharing the true experiences i have on the road.
if you haven’t already watched them: i have a whole playlist on tips for traveling solo, in an rv/Trailer, or just expectancies of life in the road. my suggestion is to start with these videos then pick and choose what interests you in the playlist:

Yes, we need to come back 3:59 to live on instincts. Hunting is very primal! And looking for a place to park, to sleep and shower is a good thing! I been working most of my life outdoors. So yes the appealing of been mobile is not for everyone. I love it though! Keep wondering and discovering and sharing your adventures!

I HAVE WATCHED YOUR VIDEO WITH THE TEAR DROP TRAILER AND I AGREE THAT THE CAR IS THE BEST WAY TO GO .. I FEEL THE SAME WAY YOU DO ABOUT THE CITY .. I LIVE IN THE CITY NOW AND IT IS SO MUNDANE AND THE SAME THING EVERY DAY WITH NO ADVENTURE AT ALL .. YES I AM COMFORTABLE AND I KNOW WHERE EVERYTHING IS AT BUT ITS ALWAYS THE SAME THING AND IT DRIVES ME CRAZY .. I DONT FEEL AT HOME WHEN I AM HOME .. I FEEL TRAPPEED HERE ALL OF THE TIME AND I AM GOING TO LEAVE TOO SOMEDAY AND CHOOSE THE NOMADIC LIFE .. I WANT ADVENTURE AND EXCITEMENT AROUND EVERY CORNER .. I WANT TO SEE NEW PLACES AND UNSEEN TERRITORIES AND VISIT NATURE AND THE ANIMALS AND BIRDS AND TREES .. I FEEL AT HOME OUTSIDE WITH NATURE ONLY , I ONCE TOOK OFF IN MY CAR AND JUST HEADED OUT PACKED UP EVERYTHING AND THREW IT IN MY TOYOTA CORLOLLA AND LEFT IT ALL BEHIND AND I FELT FREE AND IN CONTROL OF MY LIFE BUT I HAD TO TURN AROUND AND COME BACK DUE TO CANCER AND HEALTH ISSUES BUT I AM OVER CANCER NOW AND I AM 56 AND I WANT TO BE FREE AND SEETHINGS THAT I WILL NEVER SEE IN THIS CITY .. I LOVE THE MOUNTAINS AND I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE AURORA BOREALIS AND BEYOND IT SOMEDAY AND ESCAPE THIS MATRIX WORLD .. I LOVE CAMPING AND FIRES EVERY NIGHT WITH FIRE COOKED MEALS AND YES IT IS A HARDER LIFESTYLE BUT ITS ADVENTURE AND NEW AND GIVES ONE A TRUE PURPOSE HERE .. I WILL MAKE MY TREK SOMEDAY SOON AND LEAVE AGAIN AND YOUR VIDEOS LET ME KNOW THAT I AM NOT ALONE IN MY DESIRES .. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOURSELF WITH US ;)

I think it's smart that you are following your heart trying something different in your life.
If you decide after a year or two its not for you, at least you will never wonder what if I had done that. It is easy going back to the normal grind not so easy to leave it.

      this is very true
i think you just nailed it. it’s the fear that if i don’t at least try, then i’ll always wonder “what if”. sucks to have that feeling

I have the best of both worlds. Wife and I paid our mortgage off in 2021. So i quit my job and now am a stay at home dad with our two kids and go on camping trips often. Although having a paid off house is nice, if i didn't have kids, id be living the van life for sure. Nice video.

      hello!
no, i haven’t given up. i’ve just been living in a city working hard at my job and there hasn’t been a whole lot of interesting things to film while i’m here. i’m building out my car and getting everything ready to travel again. i will making a video about everything i’ve done with the car once it’s completely done. i’m about 80% complete. i actually have more stuff coming in this week to install on it. once i’m
traveling again i’ll be positing regularly.
thanks for reaching out though! i like hearing from viewers

      oh man! SO much better!
i’ll do a whole video in the future, once i’m able to use it daily and see its pros/cons. but overall- it’s INSANELY better than the ice chest

If your mobile you should go where the weather is nice. Go to the mountains in the summer and the desert or Florida for the winter. There are few things in life that factor into a persons happiness more than having nice weather. The most comfortable place in most any vehicle is the passenger seat. It's like a comfortable chair in your living room. If you sleep behind the drivers seat you can climb out of bed in the morning without getting out of the car and sit in your comfortable passengers seat and fix breakfast with the stove stove in the drivers seat. I wouldn't want to tow anything. it seems like it would create a lot of difficulty. You might have to move the drivers seat all the way forward to sleep behind it and move a few things around when you get to where your going to stay. If your not doing stealth camping, you can set things like water and your solar panels outside when you get to wherever your going to stay for the night. I like using solar suitcases they work really well and will last. I have not had good success with the portable lightweight fabric solar panels they deteriorate and don’t put out as much. If you attach a solar panel to your vehicle, you won't be able to park in the shade, and that's important in the summer no matter where you are. Just a few thoughts. I hope it's helpful. 😊

Living in a car is an unconventional lifestyle that comes with its challenges and unique experiences. It's a minimalist journey, where you learn to appreciate simplicity, adaptability, and the freedom of the open road. While it may not be for everyone, for some, it's a way to explore the world on their terms 🤙🚗🌎

ohhhh I know. I'm looking forward to the one I got. once I've had it a little while and really able to test it out, I'll do a whole video on what its like to use it on the road for full time car living. I only did the ice cooler last time cause it was just so much cheaper. but a 12v fridge is just one of those things you gotta splurge on in this instance.
