You guys want to know how absolutely GOATED this bike is? I just sold my 2020 Aprilia Tuono V4 factory and bought this BACK. so much fucking fun. its insane.
@@flip_moto Aprilias V4 are indeed torquey, but so are the Triples, they are very similar in power delivery. But Tuono is about 30 kilos heavier, exhaust note is by far the craziest thing you will ever experience and they pull like they are 250hp not 175. But they are heavy as fuck. I miss how easily I could throw my 675r around, they also have that induction noise which is very unique.
I owned one of the last 675R’s made in March 2017. I traded it in for a 2021 KTM 890R. It was an upgrade but still miss that Triumph. I’ve missed all of the bikes over the years, besides a GSXS 750 I owned for 3 months.
@@flip_moto Had a 390 that would throw an ECU Fault every couple weeks, but never affected the operation. 12k miles on the 890R without issue. Can’t speak on the long term reliability, but 12k usually shakes out most issues. It’s a different machine. A little light and nimble for highway miles, but on the curves of the backroads you really mess with sport bikes.
month later this video still popping up on my recommended lol. what did the rear sets do? did you adjust the foot position to be more like daytona (since you also had clip ons) or more up straight like other nakeds?
4:29 watching in full screen that scared the shit out of me thinking my display stopped working lmao

you don’t miss the V4 torque? i’m close to pulling a trade on RS660 for a V4 factory

Absolutely love my ST......what a wonderful machine Triumph made!
That Tripple sound is just amazing! I am considering going the other way from RS660 to a Street Tripple RS ... lol
i could totally hear that! - if i had the twin first the triple would be a welcome change - that new moto2 is tempting to go back.
damn 3 years and 15k miles thats crazy I put 12k miles on mine in 10 months lol
same aha
its not the length, but the girth ;-)
@@flip_moto hahah well said

Nice upgrade. I haven't ridden the 890r but def. on my list to rent/try. Not sure I want to own a KTM again though. How is the reliability/service?

It was hard to let mine go. Sure, I'll have another 675 somewhere down the road.
Bought mine with 22000 miles 😂 she’s wonderful

going for daytona ergos - but the bars were about 1” higher than d675r
"I don't know why people can't use their throtttle in this fucking town..." Hahaha... Are you on Parmer in Austin? *sad panda noises*
