Prior to the Season 3 update, when Pro mode was still fresh to this game, there was an issue with the engine where you couldn't swap between chords as easy as other Guitar Hero/Rock Band games. Those games had a "coyote time" (as it has been coined), where the game has a slightly forgiving hit window for if you fret a note few frames after strumming a note. It sounds like nothing, but originally without the coyote time in this game, you would frequently experience a feeling of "I missed that note, even though I definitely did what I was supposed to."
Needless to say, Season 3's update fixed this, so the game feels a lot more natural to play now.
