That back plate came with the Blink Video Doorbell and I just made it fit as the angle my door needs is quite difficult. You can just provide the doorbell with any flat surface and that will suffice.
The problem is the doorbell ring is wired🔔 I see you connected the app using wifi. I have to be changing my wifi address too often. I want to set up my app to connect through wired, I have several (9)ring flood lights. I'm tired of climbing up the ladder 🪜every time I think I need to change my wifi address💻 Or I have to pay $150. I want to be able to view pictures and outside through my 📴phone app.📲 I do have a TV that is used for just monitoring the cameras.🔕
Hi, you will always need wifi Access. The wired option is just for electricity as it is very common to see completely wireless products as Blink's cameras.
How did you add the panel? Do they come with it? I notice you had a panel with the Blink doorbell as well. How can I add panel on my blink doorbell?

@@TechnologyMoments They have upgraded the app now. You want have to claim the ladder.
Why do you keep changing your WiFi address?
Just stick to one password.
Or make a VLAN for your IOT devices and use static IP addresses.
