I have an app where you do wood working like this and I know all those different angle tools but for some reason I thought it wasn’t real so I’m surprised that those are actual tools used in woodworking 😂👌🏼

I was in the lathe program in high school, all 4 years. I graduated in 2009 and haven’t been able to touch a lathe since then (haven’t had the money or space for my own equipment). I miss it so much.
Thats ones good table turning machine. I did some myself and you have to push pretty hard if you want to cut down that far. It usually screws up the machine if done too fast. So.. im impressed
I thank my wood shop teacher Mr.Schaffer my junior high school at sycamore for his teaching introduction about all this.. too bad all of us took it for granted in class not doing sh*t… wish I learned more
I’m a Eagle Scout now as of like last year but when I was a Boy Scout going to a winter camp they let us do this make a pen and a few other things doing this and honestly woodturning is something I’d love to get into there was something oddly satisfying about it.

I took 3 years. I built a desk, and a cradle for my advanced project. It was for my first nephew. I've learned so much more, since then.

That first chisel was super sharp you can tell by the fact the wood was shaved off in ribbons and the wood had a shine to it like it was polished.
