Rock Choir sing Shake A Tail Feather at the Black Country Duck Race, Merry Hill on 30/06/24

On Sunday 30th June 2024 members of Stourbridge and Kidderminster Rock Choirs were once again invited to perform at the annual Black Country Duck Race on the Waterfront at Merry Hill (Brierley Hill) in the West Midlands. The whole event is a fundraiser for the Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge and despite the blustery weather, the Waterfront was packed!
We really enjoyed entertaining the crowds with our leader Paola, and as well as singing we also had our own large duck in the corporate Duck Race. Sadly it was taken from the finish line after a stellar performance of its own and we'd like it back please! It's going to become our mascot.
Thanks to all the Rockies who travelled from other regional choirs to support us so that we could sing loud and proud. You're awesome x
