Rock Choir sing Video Killed The Radio Star at Stourbridge Carnival on 07/07/24

On Sunday 7th July 2024 members of Stourbridge and Kidderminster Rock Choirs were once again invited to perform at the annual Stourbridge Carnival, held in the town centre. Just before we were about to take to the stage, a huge rain storm started. The kind DJ at Black Country Radio sent us off undercover to wait for the rain to pass. So, in the Crown Centre the Rockies did an impromptu acapella warm-up, that drew a huge crowd! The acoustics were fabulous so you might see us back there one day for a full gig.
We really enjoyed entertaining the crowds with our leader Paola, and we always look forward to singing at Stourbridge Carnival. We even managed to draw out the sun during our performance.
Thanks to all the Rockies who travelled from other regional choirs (Staffordshire, Shropshire & Birmingham/N Worcs) to support us so that we could sing loud and proud. You're awesome x
