@@eliasok9080 no, the L85A2 IS the remaked version of L85A1. The A1 version was such a hot mess they had to contract H&K to fix all of their guns. A2 version is a really good gun tho.

Gotta love the mutated mirrored charging handle AKs
Not just the charging handle, but the whole weapon models are mirrored for the majority of the guns.
The only real mutant one is the MP5, having both its charging handle and ejection port on the left.

It's kinda baffling how many games have done something similar.
Like they just took 1 stock image of the gun offline and modeled it after that without thinking the other side could look different.
I love these animations, they have such an arcady feel to them, but they're also smooth!
Sounds are amazing as well!
The sounds are arse. All the pistols sounded almost the same, thanks to some sound fx tweaking.

@@TCFan25 Right, the sounds in CoP are weak, especially pistols sound like someone is shooting behind the wall. By the way, i can,t shake the feeling that Dragunow in Cop sounds very similar to Desert Eagle in Call of Duty 4.

The AKMSU is my favorite weapon, it starts out being garbage, but if you give it the attention it deserves AND needs, it will pretty much turn into an ammo chewing and easily controllable machinegun of infinite destruction.
Criminally underrated weapon for everything that it offers really, and you even start the game with it LOL

You can take a stalker from the zone
But you can't take the zone from a Stalker
You really should showcase the weapons in various mods. There are even new guns like Bizons, Saigas, SCARs, Mosin Nagants, etc.
True, it's not much different than STALKER: CS. Honestly, I can't really play these games anymore without installing a full weapons mod on them. And even so, I still have to tweak some of the configurations of the mod so it suits my needs.
For some reason the Assault rifle reload animations are so satisfying.
The reload animation for the PKM must be the most cursed one I've ever seen in a videogame. It doesn't make any sense !

Чтобы не платить бабосы за лицензию, разрабы все оружие в игре назвали вымышленными названиями.
Прежде чем умничать, магазин видел? У него магазин от РПК (не РПК-74, попрошу заметить) под 7.62х39, а АКС-74У использует 5.45х39. По западному такое чудо как раз и называется АКМСУ.

I always used the AC-96/2 as a sell/donor weapon for ally NPCs in CoP so they don't die as fast.

@Grouse1999 I was referring to the storm variant in fact, I didn't notice it was the variant I was in love with until now lol.
Anyways, when modded to the max the Storm is such a pleasure to shoot, and the underbarrel grenade launcher is really useful against stronger/tankier mutants, and it can two shot a buryer, wich is a plus in my book.
Last thing, it uses 5.45, literally the most common type of ammo in the Zone, need I say more?

Same old shit every release. Aside from new shotgun, CoP didn't bring anything new to arsenal. I know its a decade old game but I'm new to the series. Decided to start with SoC and started playing a week ago. Yesterday, finished clear sky and I'm here with "cream of the crop" I'm just new to STALKER, so please don't offend in any way. Just sharing my point of view. Probably best way to play this game is through modding, even for first playthrough..
