I love this mount. I have an 86 inch tv hanging over my fireplace. We have the tv pulled down about 80% of the time.

They shouldve mounted it max 6” above the fire place

This was mounted 6-8 inches too high for the up position.
It’s mounted too high. There can be min of 4 inches gap between TV base and mantle, there is a formula in guide.
