Didn’t expect my question to get it’s own video, but thanks Aris for the advice. Already had Sanwa and the Hori Buttons were a great alternative highly recommend.
Sanwa have more of a "snappy" response wheras Hayubusa feel more "spongy." As Aris said it's a matter of preference but there is a reason why Sanwa is considered the gold standard for arcade stick parts.
I would stick with a sanwa JLF lever, an eight-way restrictor plate and hayabusa buttons. I would avoid the hayabusa levers because they are oversensitive. Haybusa buttons have lightning-fast response, a sanwa JLF lever is fluid and responsive, eight-way restrictor plates will help you out with quarter-circle forward and quarter-circle back movements and the best top for a lever is a bat-top because bat-tops are snug and comfy for your hands. Ball-tops can make your hands cramp. The other arcade buttons and levers suck.
The material the Crown buttons are made of isn't that great at least the ones i've had. The durability of the micro switches weren't that good either, once the springyness of the actuator loosens you really have to start hammering on them to get your inputs propeply. The buttons have a very harsh plastic sound when you hit them and they are loud. When they work they are somewhat similar to IL/Happ buttons, activate somewhat better but less durable (at least the ones i've had). If you have a control panel with a korean layout you go with Crown buttons period. Japanese buttons are widely available so, those are better in that way if you're busted stuff needs a replacement.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I use Crown/Samducksa buttons and they're the best buttons I've ever used. High quality and they have a great sound.
Buttons: I don't like Sanwa. I play with Hayabusa and Seimitsu. Lever: I don't like Sanwa. Play Hayabusa and Crown simply because my arcade sticks don't fit Myoungshin Fanta. But the Crown lever to me isn't half bad at all. Works as intended, all my inputs are the same as on any other joystick I used.
Bat or ball? I know it comes down to personal preference, but the best players in the world use bat right? That bit of data doesn't tell us anything? I'm aware buying Korean won't 'make' you Korean, but they're the best...and they almost all use the bat... as someone looking to buy a stick what advice would you give me?
Korean sticks all generally have bat tops and have a circular gate, similar to a DS4 analog stick. Japanese ones usually come with ball tops, though you can get bat tops for them. The Japanese sticks also have a square gate and you can also get octagonal gates for them.
Can anyone help me.. I don't know anything about parts. I have a ps4 hori joystick and the one thing i hate is that the buttons are way to sensitive. A tiny little touch and it does something I don't want. Any recommendations on buttons that are not so sensitive??
People keep calling Sanwas "snappy" but they've always been mushy bullshit to me. If you come from keyboarding and hear the way people talk about Sanwa buttons, you'll be extremely confused. As soon as I tried Crown SDB's I was much happier.
B O I 1. I dont now what this means 2. Why the hate? 3. RE6 when playing in co-op is really a fun action game. When playing solo its bad, but its not how you are supposed to play it. Its a action game, why are people looking at RE6 and rating it bad because its not a horror game? It wasnt suppose to be. Its a co-op action game, and in thiz category its very good.
RE6's makes for a bad survival-horror game; you always have ammo and other resources to solely defeated swarms of zombies. But play it as an action-game and it's pretty fun (story is stil lolololol though).
Zalozis I think it was never intended to be a survival horror game, RE was always moving away from that and in 6 they clearly embraced that they wanted it to be an action game, a lot of people didn't want that though.
I buy all my sticks from Kids R Us
Kids R Us is closed due to bankruptcy, now what?
I'll have you know I got a great deal on Crown buttons at Toys R Us going out of business sale and I use them to play DOA and smash every day.
This comment is like everything Aris hates combined
Crown buttons? You may as well play with your nipples #avoidingthepepperonis
And then one year later the crown 202 cherry mx buttons come out and are the best buttons since gamerfingers.

Geez! You are dumb and a furry.

Because most Japanese arcades come stock with Sanwa parts back in the day
The DOA of button parts! Lol
Was this before or after the crown 202s were released?
Guys this is when crown 202s where not released
Which are really good
Were crown 202's around when he said this? They are amazing
Sanwa balltop and Sanwa buttons 4 Life!

I just bought the Cherry MX Crown buttons and I love them.
@@Magneto-Serge they’re like the only pushbuttons around with MX switches since Gamerfinger went under lol

RE 6 is better than RE 7. Those stoners over at IGN said so.

Already knew this was going to be good before I clicked.. thank you no pants.

Froosty Flakes under the name grimgrotesque
they're just buttons, the technology behind them isn't complex. Idk how you mess up a button.
Oh shit new video?!?! Thanks n0pants!!!!
That RE6 roast

I actually just modded my stick recently and I combined Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons because Sanwa doesn't have and transparent parts.
at N0Pants, any time there a video where people ask Aris questions, can you name them Hey Aris, (question) ?
why do i still randomly think about the way aris says crown

Knee uses crown on his current setup.
Gamerfingers (MX Blue)>Hori>Seimitsu>Sanwa>DIY
The Hayabusa is pretty nice honestly, although I’m biased since it’s my first stick.
Wish I would have known this Tuesday before ordering crown buttons😭😭
DoA is pretty good and is super fun guys. Also, the Leon campaign of RE6 is pretty good.
Lol, I modded an old mayflash and bought crown buttons so I wouldn't have to dremel out the holes. Bought a crown lever too...
Crown buttons DansGame
Going to build a Hitbox from Crown buttons so I can harness the power of Korea and the power of cheating
Chamon Brew
seimitsu PS-15's are great buttons.
Bullshit. I replaced my sanwa buttons with crown buttons and they feel great.
I love Resident Evil 6. Its my favourite game. The Chris campaign is 10/10.
Kazuya9009 Loser

I reached >1000000 points for every map on mercenaries.
Kazuya9009 To be fair, to me the only fun part about RE6 is mercenaries.
DoA of button part 👁👄👁

@@millionstabs6891no, never ended up ordering different parts/buttons. Not gonna lie broke my joystick in a bit of rage 😆

Sanwa are far too sensitive for me. Anyone got alternatives that won't register inputs if you fucking breathe on them too hard
Yes this is just him talking trash about Crown parts
I play tekken on a crown stick modded SF4 TE stick with sanwa buttons in all kind of colors, because fuck it!
What's with the doa hate DOA is way better then crown
You took that thumbnail from Tested. I see you n0pants.

Here comes the DoA fanboys...
Hyabusa buttons are squishy nonsense
Bullshit
sanwa buttons are sensitive as fuck
Hates crown but loves hori? No hespec from me.
Kitaeo hori hayabusa buttons are dope. I'd have kept em in my stick if they had more color options.
Hyabusa stick with Sanwa buttons 👌🏿
Discussing button parts.. hmm.. interesting kappa
RE6 is a great game but a bad RE. I didnt expect it to be a good RE thats why i didnt get disappointed :) playing RE6 with a second player is great.
Exactly! Crown buttons aren't that bad either, just do not expect good buttons for a fighting game, but for a racing game? They're great :)
You must be stoned.
