I have owned 3 Edge's, A 2008 Limited, a 2015 Titanium, and presently I have a 2022 ST. I say to Ford:...KEEP THE EDGE!!! I'm getting older, and you need an offering for us older Crown Victoria types!!!😁
U must like low quality a lot to keep buying it 😂
Yeah, very disappointing they are discontinuing this automobile.
@@cormaro13let me guess you think Toyotas are high quality
@@emermbiemer302 it’s better than most brands , haven’t had a problem in 10k mileage on my new crown , can’t say the same for others with different brands 😂
@@emermbiemer302 they're reliable and well made but not high quality lol, interiors feel like a plastic toy
We love our 2011 edge with v6. Bought it new. It has 306k miles and still going. It's horrible in snow. We made sure our 2023 nautilus was AWD. The video didn't mention anything about the lane keep, lane assist, cruise control gap or self park. All are very good safety options that should be standard
Bought a Titanium and absolutely love it. For a 2.0, it really hauls. Good handling for an SUV, good acceleration, a smooth ride, and the most comfortable seats in its class. I have an arthritic back, so I need comfort. I love this car. Your review helped so much. Thank you, great work!
I have a 2024 Edge Titanium and like it very very much, good on gas and wonderful ride and style
I have a 2022 Ford Edge and I absolutely LOVE it. No issues at all once so ever. Never ever owned an American brand car and am super pleased that I get so many compliments about my edge!!!! Also ironically, my brother bought a 2023 brand new Camry from Toyota and it broke down after a month!! How do you like that?
Japanese cars are cheap junk in my opinion. Toyotas have got reliability going for themselves but that’s it. Comfort and handling wise they’re pure crap. My father has owned a Honda odyssey and a Mdx both had serious transmission problems the Honda was cheap plastic everywhere just cheaply made overall and the Acura was so underpowered it was hilarious. Iv always owned fords or vw. Very happy with both
$51,000.00 for the Ford edge crazy ,to expensive.
Yeah and the interior needs a change
@@Brian_Eugene_Lee And also that steering wheel that’s been around since 2013 but at least it’s not a Chevy express
For $51,000 you can get so many other REAL luxury super-compact SUV's!!!
@@A_Scanner_LightlyAnd they have less cargo space, much smaller interior. There are always incentives to save you money also.
That's why you have to run from new cars. I just bought my 2019 Ford Edge titanium in 2023 with 53K km on it for $24000.
We have two edges. 2013 has 405,000kms on it and still going strong. Also a 2018 with 60,000kms. I think ford should ditch the ev's and continue making the edge. But also lower the prices on their vehicles.
New instrument cluster and steering wheel would do wonders for the interior. Nice vehicle overall, but a bit pricey for what you get. The 2.7 is a rocket but this 2.0 isn’t bad.
I’m Still Ripping My 2013 Edge Sport! 325HP currently!
To the crank u fool , not the wheels , try 275 to the wheels or less so still slow 😂
@@cormaro13wrong…
I have the same Car. I love it, and it’s fast !
@@joeviking61 a 325hp crossover is slow , idk what you’re smoking lol , sorry you’re delusional on how math works 😂
@@cormaro13I don’t think they’re saying it’s fast as a Dodge Scatpack… It fast for a naturally aspirated I think 305 HP is a good number for a non turbo engine. 2012-2014 sport still beats the new edge looks for sure
Ford should update the gauge cluster and put some more leather on the dash and door panels
Awesome, Ben!
We have an 18 Edge SEL with the 3.5 v6. Love it!! Not one issue.
No sure but it looks like all the HVAC controls are all digital. I have a 2017 Edge, love the vehicle, hate those digital controls so much, the 2024 is off my list of my new purchase. Yes, I hate the all digital controls that much.
"The A/C seat definitely helping out"...if you hadn't said that, I would NEVER had know this had ventilated seats! Why don't manufacturers advertise this?! Everything has HEATED seats, but I want ventilated here in the south!
Also, does this have WIRELESS Apple Carplay/Android Auto?
Thanks!
Seriously 51000 usd for a car a decade old with an iPad glued to the console. Who is still buying this car?
I would gladly get another edge I love my 07 edge with 100k miles and still running like brand new
I'm guessing that not many people put premium in the Ford Edge when the fuel costs 25+% more per gallon?
I hope you get to review the 2024 Edge with the 2.7 ( i know you will)
I have a 2017 Edge and we love it.
Edge production initially ending at Oakville Jan. '24. Now Ford is saying March, '24. Ford changes their mind every week. Too bad the Edge is ending soon.
Lincoln Nautilus production ended yesterday at Oakville Assembly. The Ford Edge is TENTATIVELY scheduled to end production April 2024. I know I help make them.
Keep the Edge but beef it up make it bigger
I have the 2021 and have the same screen. Doesn’t look like they change a thing in the years. I don’t like the screen. It’s not that user friendly
I predict the 2025 Edge will be a redesign or rebadge to line up with the new Lincoln Nautilus.
they are gonna stop the production of the edge. 2024 is the last one :(
I had a 2015 edge sport and the 2024 looks mostly the same except a newer infotainment system. I loved it but that is almost a decade ago. Probably time for a change.
Ford edge I love 💗 ❤
Do The EDGE ST Next Time!
Keep it the way it is.
Ford and luxury don't go in the same sentence. Great trucks and great rentals though.
My 2013 Ford edge SEL has plenty of luxury. The problem with people and manufacturers is that they want to exaggerate in what luxury is and should be. Ford has plenty of luxury for the price and quality they offer. The simple fact that cars now have powered windows is a luxury.. yes ford offers luxury just not the luxury you been shown by these overly expensive European manufacturers which suck when it comes to longevity
@Brownnproud91 no it's just you old people that think power windows are luxury and basic features are luxury when features get better and interior design gets a lot better that's called luxury
Ford is no where close to being that especially with that hard plastic still in there
It's why mazda has been coming up a lot
I’m not a big fan of the ford edge but the interior is nice I kinda miss having a ford my first car was a ford
Focus
Ben Hardy makes the best videos ever :)
Indeed 👍
@@JAF573 That’s good 😊
YES
Always enjoy watching a Ben Hardy video! You include all the relevant details without making the video too long and tedious. I hope Ford gets rid of the Edge and brings back the Fiesta! Us Americans desperately need more cheap new cars and the Fiesta would be awesome!
The best thing i did with my ford edge was trade it in for my 2023 ram
Cual es el. Precio de. Este auto 😊
you can get a loaded palisade calligraphy or a Mercedes AMG GLB for that price...
It has really nice looking leather seats and thats it.
You can get a hybrid SUV for less geez 51k thats crazy
I do like the edge, but getting rid of it for the Everest would be a really good idea
The Everest is hideous. It looks like something that belongs in the woods. The edge is made for city people like me that appreciate function with style.
@@privateemail5870 well considering I love the woods, makes sense why I would prefer the Everest haha
Short answer, no. Long answer, not really.
Ford is ending the Edge this MY. Real good deals on lame duck Edge with $4,000+ rebates plus low interest loans.
Привет из России, спасибо
Бен
Me gusta ford edge titanium para Betti
I like the everest just bring it back
So paying MSRP is a good deal then, right lol. 🤣🤣
This is a very average suv in this segment. The VW cross sport or kia sorenro seem to have a better design.
The Ford edge looks old compaird to the new Kia soreto 2024.
Well the Korean auto manufacturers are constantly updating their vehicles to keep things fresh.
Side windows are manual not power. What the heck. Ford?
Isn’t Everest like the explorer??
Where did you get that? It shows the power window switches at the 2:52 mark. As far as the Everest is concerned, it's body on frame like the old explorer and maybe a tad more offroad looking.
I will go with hyundai or kia better reliability and cost less for the top trip better awd system better warranty
"hyundai or kia better reliability" - lol is this a joke ??? that's gotta be a sarcasm lol
If I'm not mistaken, the new 2024 Ford Edge is made in China, as well as the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus.
💀
Lol that’s awful
It is still made in the Oakville plant in Canada.
I stand corrected. I was a year premature. In 2024, the conversion to EV Edges & Nautilus's at the Canadian plant is projecting completion. Thank you for catching my error. @@rotart12arx3
it’s still made in Oakville Canada alongside the Nautilus. even if it was made in China who the f*ck cares? GM imports cars from
China and people still buy them
Y. Para. Desgracia. Ahora los. Fabrican los. Chinos 😮
Let's see how fast I can talk. Dude, you're mumbling at times.
Sometimes you talk too fast hard to understand what you and saying
Maybe u should slow the video down or get reading lol
Owned an Edge from 2007-2010. Biggest piece of crap. Ac complete broken and needed replacing, transmission fluid leaks. Never again
2 liter 4 cylinder crappy engine that has failed for everyone. I just replaced mine for $6000! Do you think Ford paid a penny? Nope. And such a shame because I loved my Ford Edge Titanium. But come on Ford really? You’re not giving it a new engine?
Never buy it again!
The late production 2019 and newer have the redesigned block and head. I have had 2.0 since 2014 in 4 different vehicles and never had a issue with the engine.
Yep. Just replaced my engine on the Ford Titanium. $6000. I loved my vehicle until then. Ford really sucks for not paying for this engine replacement.
Чуть не уснул, ещё быстрее можно говорить?
In a word, no. Was it good almost a decade ago, sure. But it’s horribly dated now.
It looks dated and not that impressive in my view.
Grossly overpriced. And terrible interior
I thought they discontinued the edge
