Growing up in that era when there was so much appreciation for good music,because the wording had such beautiful meaning,and you learned to enjoy/respect all that was said. It was so easy to identify with the songs during that time,because it was expressing love,and eventful times. I am so happy that Smokey was honored, because he certainly earned every moment that he worked so hard over the years to reach his intended goals. Smokey is still just as handsome as he was as a young man. The older he gets the more handsome he becomes.Smokey told every woman in the audience/world that he was still in love with his wife,and that was beautiful.
