    Thank you for the great information. Try to stay away from Instant Oatmeal as the oats are refined and it contains a lot of sugar. If you have the time make a batch of regular oatmeal and it will keep for a few days in the fridge. You can add cinnamon, nutmeg, walnuts, almonds, ground flaxseed, some dried fruit like cranberries. I add a few dashes of turmeric. You can place the mixture in an 8x8” pan and cut off squares for breakfast. Warm up in microwave for about 2 min. Very easy and tasty❤️

    I believe the Oatmeal helps for sure. For years every morning I have a cup of Oatmeal with Honey and Cinnamon Average cholesterol averages 150 has been as low as 117 when I worked on it other ways. I use the magnesium but the potassium got to the point the level got to high. I started the thistle seed and beet addition after the last video. If it has a recordable affect i'll post it.

    I bought myself a sphygmo from the chemist - it's actually a bit of fun to measure your blood pressure once a month. Still grating beets on my greens too. PS trust a medic to say ingest instead of eat lol Great vid guys!

    Another winner vid! Whew, glad to hear some food mentions that I actually enjoy! 👋 Definitely putting watermelon on my top list. Yummiez! 🍉 I like garlic, but not hugely crazy about it. 🧛‍♀️😁 Was hoping the wings/sauce mentioned in the previous vid would round up the 20, guess not. ☹ Pizza also doesn't help? 🙃 Kidding.... Anyway, some good info & definitely a top of mind vid of what foods to consume to help tame that pressure. Thanks again, docs!

    What a wonderful video!! 👍
    I've made a list of these items that can help lower blood pressure. And there are only a couple that I don't care for.
    I think a pumpkin oatmeal bake with walnuts will be the first recipe I'll make. I might even add some berries.
    You've really given us some food for thought. 😉
    I was so excited that my blood sugar was 95 this morning but then I remembered you were giving a list of things to help blood pressure. 🤦
    This is a great list to help people take control of their blood pressure!
    As always, you made this entertaining and very informative! I always smile, if not laugh out loud, and I always learn something from you! You two are the best! 😘
    Thanks for sharing another great video!

    lol. You guys are so smart and funny. Thank you for the list of foods. I just happen to be sitting here eating some homemade pumpkin muffins with lots of cinnamon in them so I'm glad to see pumpkin and cinnamon on the list. Not sure, but I've heard that celery also can help lower blood pressure. I understand that kale and spinach are great, but I prefer Romaine lettuce. I wonder if that has comparable health benefits.

    • @TalkingWithDocs
      @TalkingWithDocs  Рік тому

      Hi Words so the main benefit from celery is the fiber. Kale and spinach we would say are superior to Romaine but any leafy green is good. Thanks for watching and subscribing

      Hi David. There are less studies on the oil and we would argue too much oil is never good for you so woukd stick with the ground flaxseed. Welcome aboard!

    Fasting and drinking a big glass of freshly pressed mixed Citrusfruit-juice daily, with Grapefruit, Lemon and Orange, had my BP go down drastically from 160/90 to 115/65, and my pulse went up from 45 to 60 bpm!!! It happened very quickly as well from one day to the next! I was so surprised so I thought something was wrong with my BP- meters!? ... but I have 3 BP-meters (Omron, Braun, Beurer) and they all showed lower BP. I even bought another BP meter just to be sure, and yes my bloodpressure is way down! Some days my BP is even as low as 100/60! I have tried to not drink Citrus juice for some days and the low BP still continues. I´ve now been fasting and drinking Citrus juice for over 1 month, Another 10 days and I will finish fasting and go into the keto diet. I have lost weight from 87 kg to 80 kg so far. I know that most doctors wants you to take BP lowering medications instead, and often warns you from drinking Grapefruit juice as they know it works even better to lower BP than medics, because then the medical companies wont make that much money! A periodic fasting now and then with Citrus-juice cleans out the arteries and keeps your BP low!
