@@TalkingWithDocs hey doc what do you think about Hawthorne berries or the extracts to reduce high BP? I've heard that it may have some medicine interactions so I'd like to know what you think...that aside do let us know if cayenne pepper helps reduce BP too?..
Thank you for the great information. Try to stay away from Instant Oatmeal as the oats are refined and it contains a lot of sugar. If you have the time make a batch of regular oatmeal and it will keep for a few days in the fridge. You can add cinnamon, nutmeg, walnuts, almonds, ground flaxseed, some dried fruit like cranberries. I add a few dashes of turmeric. You can place the mixture in an 8x8” pan and cut off squares for breakfast. Warm up in microwave for about 2 min. Very easy and tasty❤️
I'm struggling with high blood pressure I'm worried I'm unemployed I can😢 afford to buy some of the mentioned goods but I'm happy to hear about garlic, beetroot and flexseed It's my first time seeing you Docs God bless you 🎉

Wow, thanks for that. What an encouragement that list is- I’m eating all of them and increasing cardio to lower my BP. Drs are puzzled as I have no risk factors for hypertension.
Thanks so much! Have been on BP meds for 6 years and my potassium has dropped. I am allergic to bananas so I am grateful for all the alternatives you gave today! I've been giving as many on that list to my parents as we struggle with high blood pressure in our fam. I just shared this with them. Along with exercise, we try to keep our sodium levels low too.
I believe the Oatmeal helps for sure. For years every morning I have a cup of Oatmeal with Honey and Cinnamon Average cholesterol averages 150 has been as low as 117 when I worked on it other ways. I use the magnesium but the potassium got to the point the level got to high. I started the thistle seed and beet addition after the last video. If it has a recordable affect i'll post it.

Just found your channel, and Subscribing. This year is a test to get my blood work good. I saw a big change in triglycerides by taking 4,000 mg of fish oil daily. I did other things and trying to adjust to the Mediterranean Diet lifestyle. My weakness is sweets junk. I'm waiting on several more blood work test to show before and after video with what works for me. My triglycerides February 2022 was 459 and I dropped them in two months to recommended save level. I am waiting to see if I can keep my levels good.
lol. I find it refreshing on a warm day. And I get dehydrated really easy, so all the different melons are great to help with hydration. I hate those salty sports drinks. They’re disgusting. So far only been dehydrated bad enough to end up in ER and on a few bags of IV fluids. 🤢
My doctor is also a licensed hypnotherapist who taught how me how to design myself a post-hypnotic cue to change to command mode . Cue~BP 120/80 ~cue and so it is even at 250 pounds
Fasting and drinking a big glass of freshly pressed mixed Citrusfruit-juice daily, with Grapefruit, Lemon and Orange, had my BP go down drastically from 160/90 to 115/65, and my pulse went up from 45 to 60 bpm!!! It happened very quickly as well from one day to the next! I was so surprised so I thought something was wrong with my BP- meters!? ... but I have 3 BP-meters (Omron, Braun, Beurer) and they all showed lower BP. I even bought another BP meter just to be sure, and yes my bloodpressure is way down! Some days my BP is even as low as 100/60! I have tried to not drink Citrus juice for some days and the low BP still continues. I´ve now been fasting and drinking Citrus juice for over 1 month, Another 10 days and I will finish fasting and go into the keto diet. I have lost weight from 87 kg to 80 kg so far. I know that most doctors wants you to take BP lowering medications instead, and often warns you from drinking Grapefruit juice as they know it works even better to lower BP than medics, because then the medical companies wont make that much money! A periodic fasting now and then with Citrus-juice cleans out the arteries and keeps your BP low!
I have a peptic ulcer and many foods aggravate my stomach including bananas, sweet potatoes, garlic and olive oil 😟 I'm trying the beetroot and flax seeds at the moment though 👍🏻🤗
Australian here, male, born 1952. I'm writing this to warn others. I have had gastroesophageal reflux for about 28 years - probably due to my large hiatal hernia - and have needed proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) to prevent lower esophageal erosion (which has caused significant anaemia and pain). My arterial blood pressure was noted to be high in 2006 and would have steadily increased had I😮 not used antihypertensive medication. And now it's even difficult to control with those same meds. I thought it was genetic or lifestyle originally but upon further information it seems that the PPIs are causing renal failure and *renal failure causes hypertension and vice versa*. My eGFR is 46 (should be about 90). I'm thankful for PPIs because otherwise I might have Barrett's oesophagus (cancer) or very severe anaemia, but I'm in a difficult position and I'm not the only one. Surgery for the hernia is not usually very curative or successful and has complications. As well as renal damage, my blood magnesium concentration is always below normal unless I take oral magnesium - this is also due to PPIs - but even small amounts of Mg citrate gives me diarrhea and it's difficult to get the Mg++ I need totally from diet. Losing a huge amount of weight (especially abdominal) can help (I'm doing that). Histamine receptor blockers (H2 blockers) were once the only medication available for acid reflux but these are not as effective as the newer PPIs and from my literature reading it's uncertain if they spare kidney damage either. Discussion welcome.
Thank you, thank you and thank you for this information, I hate the pills, they make me feel sick, bloated or loopy and most of the foods you gave I love, gonna get to them. What about grapefruit?
Hi Docs. New subscriber here but my wife has followed you for a while. Just wondering if flax oil is as good as flax seed for helping reduce high blood pressure? You guys are awesome. Thanks.
Hi David. There are less studies on the oil and we would argue too much oil is never good for you so woukd stick with the ground flaxseed. Welcome aboard!

I have a peptic ulcer and many foods aggravate my stomach including bananas, sweet potatoes, garlic and olive oil 😟
I'm trying the beetroot and flax seeds at the moment though 👍🏻🤗
Yes some people believe strongly it helps
@Talking With Docs cool will try that too, thank you for the videos they are a blessing 🙌 🙏 and so are you two 😊
Wow. Doctors that know about healthy foods.
We do! Thanks for watching and subscribing
Dr. Weening reminds me of the character in Lost and I believe he worked in a hospital too.
A few people have said that he reminded them of Jack.
I like your sense of humour.
Thanks Odilia. Thanks for watching and subscribing
Just love you guys!
Thanks so much Cheryl. Thanks for watching and subscribing

Yes. They have great personalities and I agree if only dr.'s were more down to earth and accessible like these two, more people would go.
