Such a great and unique RPG. Rented it back in the day, and was blown away by the quality of the game. Thought it'd be OK, turned out to be awesome.

I am not the hardcore gamer many viewers are and this game is one I actually picked up after watching PJ run it, it is honestly very fun as a casual game.

If PJ is running it, one of two things about it is true: It's weird and offbeat, or it's hard. It can also be both, like with Bionic Commando, using both a very strange movement system *and* demanding and improvisational inputs while playing.

I just picked up a cart a few days ago and have been having an absolute blast. the only RPG I've tried to run SMRPG, I dunno if I'll ever run this but yes it's been wonderful as a casual game. Fell asleep with the controller in my hand, can't tell you the last time that happened

Is the tip about robot 2 being better at close range and 3 being better at RUN attacks true?

I believe that's actually just a spectacularly mistranslated tip that's trying to tell you about how you can spec and equip your robots to be more suited to various roles in battle, at your own whims (like in the game's example, 2 is given more Power and solid close-range weapons, and 3 is given weapons based around setting up more effective RUN commands) - sounds of it, there's no inherent bonus that any of the three robots get based solely on which of the three they are.
