Great video. I just got rid of my Audi A6 and brought a 2010 Honda Civic. I am going to do all my work that isn't too advanced. Your video was clear and detailed. I already did the cabin filter from your video. Will do the spark plugs, oil filter, oil, and transmission fluid replace. and air filter. Do you need a torque wrench for the spark plugs? I know you didn't use one but was curious. What is your opinion on the transmission filter replacement? Thanks again
Or i well ask like is it right to use this lucas in a healthy car no Trancemission issue ? just drain it and add lucas plus 2.3 litter of oil ? it can cost any damage or no need it if the car is works fine ?
@@categgs3521 he’s probably not kidding. The newer generation, under us millennials i think genz the are absolutely inmechanically inclined people. They have absolutely no clue how the world works, or how cars work, anything. They are tablet babies. Most of them have grown up just staring at a screen all day. No mechanical knowledge at all, heck some of them have never even played outside before. They know absolutely nothing, about anything. This man literally thought that was the engine airfilter inside of the glovebox. That tells you clearly he is young and is of the z generation that has no idea how anything works and have been babied their entire life just to stare at a screen
looks like fun work guys ! great job ... i have to ask you if i have civic 2010 and i change trancemission fluid i drained and add 2 litters of honda dw1 oil plus lucas transmission i had no issue with it the car is on 174,000 km its ok i did it ? or am i wrong that i add it ? thanks in advanced
you think its ok i add the lucas one without have any issue like ? the car is on 175,000? was warried about it a lot . its inside already 3 weeks and its ok runing @@Alex-tx1gl
You actually aren’t supposed to fill the 2010 honda civic transmission fluid from the dipstick port AT ALL and if you do, you are overfilling and putting a heavy load on it. There is an 18 mm bolt, located directly next to the drain bolt of the trans, after you drain it, you pump new trans fluid into that 18 mm port until you see it full, and it becomes full by starting to pour out the hole a bit. You’ll know real quick its full cause it will just start to spill out . THEN you replace the bolt. Never ever ever fill it by the top dipstick port. And if you did, on accident, drain it as soon as possible and refill by the bolt port at bottom. Theres tons of videos on this topic on youtube here if you need to confirm this or think im lying. If you want to add the lucas stuff, you could premix it into the trans fluid you pump in. But dont put a whole bottle of it in, as it will just pour out anyways, i personally would just pump new honda OEM trans fluid into it. Thats what i do on my 2010 civic lx
So informative helpful and encouraging seeing a gentleman teach his wife how to maintain a car. Thanks

I was always told to NEVER put anything but Honda atf in the transmission. No Lucas. Nothing from autozone. Straight from the dealer only.

Hello sorry for the late response but I don’t use a torque wrench because I don’t have one, but if you got one it’s never a bad idea! Good luck!🤘🏽
