The buns look amazing! I didn’t realize if the Dutch oven is not thick enough, that bottom of cinnamon buns burn- bummer. I’ve made a lot of almond milk in my day- it tasted fine, without all the added chemicals that the store adds. But I’ve never tried it with pecans. Maybe it needs more pecans and less water to give it a stronger flavor? I have also made a lot of farmers cheese because I love that stuff. I used to throw away the whey until someone told me it’s good for you. Turns out people call it liquid gold and it was incredibly beneficial for my gut flora. I could feel a huge difference in the way my stomach became more effective. I know people bake with whey, but even yogurt never helped my gut flora as much as drinking the whey. I’ll be honest- I would love to have sourdough breads, but it sure is a lot of dedication 😊. You are so good at not giving up and experimenting. Happy Sunday.

I have 2 starters. One with unbleached all purpose flour with water (I got powdered version from Amazon to get started) and the other on which I made out of rye flour and whole wheat flour with water. The rye flour is a bit slower so some time I will feed it with tiny bit of honey ☺️
