Finnick Odair Thinking about it as a normal person yeah it sounds pretty messed up, but imagine if you’ve been taught by your parents and grandparents that it is the highest honor and it is an accomplishment. In their minds they’re just thinking they’re doing what they have to do and it’s not crazy or abnormal to them, it’s actually encouraged which makes it so sad. The fact that they are brought up to think that way. Just think about what Cato says before he dies. They’re human beings like the rest of us.
I love how when Clove is taunting Katniss, you put flashbacks of Rue and if you watched the movie or read the book you know she is talking about Rue, so it's perfect
I disliked this video because it didn’t do the hunger game justice, it is so much emotion the the series and I don’t thing thus showed it. It just put tons of clips together

Poor Careers. All their lives they were brought up to think that the Hunger Games were an "honor" to complete in. But in reality they were pawns in a "game" and lives that weren't theirs after the "Hunger Games." :(

The thing I love about the hunger games is that if you change the actor then I can never see their character like literally the actors for all those characters ARE those characters I couldn't imagine if they were switched as they played their part so well and looked just perfect for the part.

fox face lasted until the very end when she committed suicide knowing that she couldn’t stand the combat. But glimmer and the careers were being idiotic sleeping under that tree bc they were so vulnerable and katniss coulda killed them all there so glimmer died. they both lasted pretty long tho!
