  • Buying Snowmobiles I've ALWAYS Wanted !! (and First Rides). I've looked for these specific snowmobiles on marketplace and craigslist for years now, trying to find a good deal on them, and managed to buy them both from the same person!
1971 Ski Doo Elan and 1979 Yamaha Enticer 340 !
    Which was the better deal??

What was the better deal?? What sled should I buy next?? Drop it down below and I'll take all into consideration while I hunt facebook marketplace and craigslist.
Also, hit the like or dislike button so these videos can be pushed more and I can buy more sleds. Lol
And as always find the Sasquatch and win some Ride More merch. :)

Never owned a Bravo, but have wanted one for ever. I just picked up a little Yamaha Inviter to satisfy my one-lunger desires. That thing is a hoot to ride. It looks so tiny next to my Indy, but I love it just as much. Would still love to pick up an Enticer or Bravo one day. If nothing else, just to have a fanner in my stable.

I remember back when i was young, my dad had an enticer 340 deluxe. We went everywhere on that thing, and loved it. Then we moved to the sunny south where you get enough snow to ride maybe once every 3 or 4 years barely. Since then my dad buys and restores old yamaha sleds. I have a bravo 250, and would get something better if we actually got some more snow. My dad still has his 340, and a few more. He loves his Vmax. Just wish we had more snow. Love your videos, and I keep looking at my wife with those sad eyes wanting to go riding so bad. This video gave me some great memories. Thanks!!

I agree about the Enticer being a good looking ride. I always loved that look. Those 340's (338cc) are some rippin little engines. I had an SL433 (on an SL338 frame) back in the days, and that thing was a blast to ride.
These days I ride a '95 Indy440, and just picked up a little 1988 Yamaha Inviter. Love both of them, but would like to add an Enticer to the "stable" some day.

But the last sled I had was a Yamaha SS 440 that was my favorite one out of all. Not much for a jumper or ruff trail sled it sat real low. But that sled was stupid fast after a few cheap mods. So, just so you know a compression test really doesn’t tell you much about the condition of the cylinder. As long as the rings haven’t seized they will show perfect compression. I have chainsaws that were completely scored up that still show perfect compression and run well

That Enticer literally looks just like the one I had. Faded tank, and the crumple on the left front. Wonder if it had the red hood before it was fixed. I'm in Hudson valley ny too. Hasn't gone far if it's the same ine haha
