The fuel pumps in those should be replaced every 8k with a top end. The pumps are famous for getting weak on 1 side and causing a lean condition. Unfortunately, there are no rebuild kits for them. You have to buy a new pump. The Yamaha brand one only works. Unless you want to just pre-mix your gas. Then you can buy a generic one. No generic pump mixes the oil in the pump like the Yamaha ones.

Hey Jeremy, that sled has a tool kit, you can see it at 9:27, its a little black plastic box held down with a rubber strap, under the hood just above where your right foot would be if you were riding. They're supposed to have a spark plug wrench, pliers, a couple screwdrivers and a couple wrenches in them
@ 3:15 That is from a beaver. And he didn't fall through, that's his hole that he uses to go from on top of the ice to back down under. Because of him moving around there the ice is really thin so it doesn't freeze over that much. Don't worry Jeremy, he didn't drown he is fine 😂

I've never bought a used sled that wasn't loaded with problems. Gotta go over the entire machine and fix all the problems to help prevent a breakdown in the bush. The sellers lie, never tell the buyer about "everything " that's wrong, and who sells there sled, bike etc... when everything is in good shape and working well. Nobody, why would you? Nope it's ridden and neglected and once the problems pile up they sell it and still think their garbage, they don't wanna fix, is worth top dollar.

yep, lots of selds have them, personally I've only seen and been around older sleds so idk about modern ones, but most older sleds have them

My 98 polaris xlt has a tiny tool box under the hood. Definitely comes in handy for changing plugs and more

just like any kind of machine, sleds are definitely one of them things your heart has to be in them
Just neess the carb cleaned. Means full carb rebuild. Primary clutch and the tracks shot.
