It's indeed amazing to stay in Penang, great food, great culture, great sights and great people. An island of greatness, hope you enjoy your stay. Love from Malaysian fans.
Great commentary... not so much "all about you" but more documentary.. Lived in Penang as an expat (Pulau Tikus) in the early 90's. probably the best time of my life... truly a blessing and I miss it. So happy to see those familiar streets and locales and see that they haven't been plowed under! Wonderful people... and the best food ever!
Outstanding information and background on your visit. You guys really do your homework and provide great information on all the places you visit. Thanks - Salamat
Thanks all your info about Penang ... can’t wait to hopefully visit Malaysia 🇲🇾 from the end of this year ... depending on Coronavirus lockdown restrictions As I’m an Australian 🇦🇺 residing in the Philippines 🇵🇭 & need to leave due to visa requirements
Dude your editing is commendable. The way you cut the music in some shots is very cool. The colour grading on the beach. It feels like a bite size documentary Also you look kinda like Edward Norton
Yap agreed, Jimmy looks alike Ed Norton, both of them are so cool. Probably Jimmy will dress up like Edward 1 day on the street to shoot UA-cam, haha. Is that a good idea? cheers
🌟 Malaysia is still a lovely place with such great food diversity and a great Coulter. 🌟 I see you will be on a new adventure soon, I am jealous haha. Well Jim Zand Tah you know I can't wait for your next destination and adventure. I might not get to a few videos for awhile. Your number on fan has had a few heart attacks and I will be going in for a triple bypass It sucks guys. I will return god blessings me. 👍
Hi Jimmy and ta , was thinking maybe sometimes you might like to show resorts as others like them to stay at. This way you also have a new wave of subscribers clicking on. And I know we both like to stay at nice accomadation resorts too so , well that's my thoughts anyway . I just loved this Penang section you have presented totally professional guys love it
@Rxx x mahathir is blaming jibby for not achieving developed nation stage. Its a long road for malaysia to achieved developed stage before singapore, china, korea, taiwan n hong kong. If we are as lazy as its now, maybe we need to wait after thailand and vietnam.
Ah Penang, what a culinary paradise! Anw, "kopitiam" is spelled "ko-pi-tee-am", it is a general term to refer any Peranakan traditional coffee house. I do really love kopi tarik or Singaporean Kopi-C!
Hi tah n jimmy.its good to see u guys are back visiting Malaysia.if you guys wanna be a bit more adventurous u should check out royal belum in perak.wild nature n i think u’ll like it.🤗
It is so relaxing to watch your videos. I like the way you tell the story in each places you visit. It’s really helpful! Happy new year! I hope you get the recognition you deserve! 🌸
Sounds like a place for me build on the water and no taxes hehe but who know how it is in a storm. Nice looking beach. The market looked nice that food looked good and an interesting way to cook what you buy but Jimmy why didn't you get all those noodle in your mouth haha. Wow Tah changes her clothes so fast in front of on place a red top then suddenly a blue top then yellow. Got to love street food. Even better with a food festive. Just glad I don't have your laundry bill I think Tah changed her top about 10 times in this video haha
13:35 Nyonya snack in the caption becomes "young ass man" .... LOL Anyway i like the summaries that you guys made, it is really very helpful especially for those who has no idea where to go in Penang
9:20 But Philippines is not a Buddhist country majority of Filipinos are Christians (mainly Roman Catholic), but still I like your video and maybe planning to visit Penang this year...Happy New Year!
Peranakan originated in 3 places, namely Penang, melacca and singapore. I never knew nyonya kuih existed in thailand. Maybe one or two varieties but they definitely dont have nyonya baba culture.
What form of transportation did u use to get to Penang from Thailand im assuming ? I'm leaving from Prachuap Khiri Khan and need to make a visa run and would like to stay here a week while I'm here to explore.
Hi. Are 8 days enough to visit KL, Penang and Malacca? I know travel time to Penang is around 6 hrs by bus or train 1 way. So travel time alone will eat a portion of our time. Malacca is like 2 hrs away from KL. Or should we just spend the duration of our trip in KL and Malacca so it isn't hectic? We normally like traveling/touring at a leisurely pace.
Sad that the urbanization comes with building of ugly high risers in the midst of villages, missing the opportunity to create nicer housing that blends in with the surrounding.

Hot Kopi C or teh c in garlan (tall glass) everytime...
When I lived at Ferringi not a single hotel just a few shops and a shrimp factory and just two foreigners, me and my wife.
They have them now
Lessons learned and hopefully kept.

We used a plane...
You need to stay in Penang for some time not just a Visa run. You wont enjoy anything if you just hit and run!
