  • So I thought I would do a video of comparison with MSFS 2020 with no Multi monitor support with LM Prepar 3d V5.
We need owners of MSFS 2020 to vote for Multi monitors This is Just Ridiculous that it was never implemented for the start!

Full support buddy. I simply refuse to use FS2020 and will stay with XPlane. Yes FS2020 has the graphics, but XPlane has the multi-monitor support, planemaker customisation, and a better flight model. For a serious cockpit builder and simmer, I choose XPlane. Great video mate

We need more videos like this. Such an important functionality that is inherent to any respectable flight simulator. It's such a pity that Microsoft shoves aside the simmers they've promised this functionality to and are prioritizing money and the gamer kids instead.

Before VR home cockpits made a lot of sense, now they don't make much sense when you can be in the world in 3D and use haptics to flip all the switches with your hands.

Not everyone can do VR without getting sick and VR is cool but not so much when you have a passenger in a 2 seat simulator. And for me to pretend to turn on switches and flaps etc..with a virtual hand no thanks I prefer reality somewhat. Thanks for viewing .

Yes, missing the multi view was a great disappointment. I don't have the MSFS 2020 and until things change I'll probably pass because having no side window views would render my practice useless. I like how you showed the runway outside of your window with Prepar3d. If you are real pilot as I am you know that you have to be able to see the runway outside your side window in order to set yourself up in the traffic pattern for a VFR approach.
I will be voting yes at the website you provided. Thanks
Update: Tried to vote but it say Limit. When I click on it, it reads list votes. I click and it says 0 so the website is screwed up I think. Not with Microsoft??? LOL

I'll tell you that it's very difficult to simulate Hood time when you're sitting behind a desk. You can practice Hood Time by making everything white out conditions after you climb out to about 1,000 feet and then practice IFR approaches from one airport to the other but you don't really have the movements under your seat that you do in a real airplane. When you go up into a real airplane and you actually do some Hood time it's a whole different ballgame.
Learning to Fly instrument isn't something that you just do a few times and remember the rest of your life either. You have to stay current. This is one of the reasons why qualified Pilots have to do recurrent training every year especially if they fly people. Your body forgets and you simply get out of practice.

We're shooting for realism here. In order to do that you have to have at least 3 different views; Front and both side window views. Stretching does not support realism.
