You are literally a life saviour on god. May god bless you for blessing us with this content. I wish you were my teacher I wouldn’t be crying my eyes out for a chem test. Thank you sir! respect.
I have a chemistry WA3 tmr, and I couldn’t understand preparation of salts well, but your video helped me a lot!! Thank you teacher for the clear explanations! 😇
Ive been trying to understand this topic for like a year now and I never got it but now my finals are coming up and in just 20 minutes you made me understand a concept that I didn't understand in a year thank you so much
Yes the formula of nitric acid is HNO₃, but the ‘2’ is called a coefficient, it is used to balance the chemical equation. When writing chemical equations, we need to ensure the same number of atoms on each side of the arrow. This is due to the conservation of mass.
Group 1 salts refer to any salt of Group 1 metals, such as sodium chloride, potassium sulfate etc. Ammonium salts are salts containing the ammonium ion, such as ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate or ammonium nitrate.
Some sources will refer to aqueous ammonia as ammonium hydroxide. The reason why aqueous ammonia is preferred is because ammonia is a weak alkali, which only partially dissociates in water. At the molecular level, most would exist as ammonia molecules instead of ammonium and hydroxide ions.
Bro this video was absolutely amazing, i have understood the most difficult chapter of chemistry in less than 20 minutes, thanks again bro
nice! It’s very encouraging to hear that :)
Thank you so much!! I never understood this lesson until I came across your video, and that flowchart omg it summarizes the whole thing!
thank you, I’m really happy to hear that you found the content helpful!

YOU ARE AMAZING. honestly better than my chemistry teacher . thank youu
Bro this was amazing
VERY helpful 👍
Perfect video!!! 🙏
Marvellous 😋😍😘🤩
Thanks. But nitric acid formula is HNO3 but in most equations its written 2HNO3. Can you please explain this

thanks u soooooooooo much, u are amazing
Bravo
Thank you so so much

better than my stupid teacher powr lah mr jansen tan
what is the meaning of Y and N in the (soluble) column on your first slide.Hope you reply to this soon.
Y = Yes (soluble in water)
N = No (insoluble in water)
For making silver chloride, why do we need sodium chloride? Will HCl work?
any solution containing chloride ions would work, hence HCl can also be used
@@MrJansenTan ok thanks a lot!
Why are you so underrated ☹️
thanks a million sirr
Omgg thanks so much!
What is group 1 and ammonium salt ?
Group 1 salts refer to any salt of Group 1 metals, such as sodium chloride, potassium sulfate etc. Ammonium salts are salts containing the ammonium ion, such as ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate or ammonium nitrate.
I thought aqueous ammonia is NH4OH
Some sources will refer to aqueous ammonia as ammonium hydroxide. The reason why aqueous ammonia is preferred is because ammonia is a weak alkali, which only partially dissociates in water. At the molecular level, most would exist as ammonia molecules instead of ammonium and hydroxide ions.
@@MrJansenTan I see thanks
