I can’t understand why you gotta put indicator in it when it’s of no use (because in step 3 we have to do the titration process all over again)
Can someone please explain it to me😅

Both, acid and alkali, are colorless liquids, haina? So how will you know first time when to acc stop adding alkali from burette. Adding indicator gives you an idea about how much alkali needs to be added. Once you gain that idea, then u do it without indicator in the second time

    salam sir
perhaps u made the mistake...According to ms,books,Notes acids are taken in burette and alkali in flask but you did opposite.please clear this confusion u did mistake or what and what should i follow thanks

The main concern at O Level is mixing both using indicator in first turn. It doesn't matter which side acid is on.

@@chemroom5532but if u use thymolphthalein indicator to determine the end point, it would be confusing. because the indicator shows colourless for acid and also colourless for the end point. so u wouldnt be able to determine the end point if u added acid to conical flask. acid should be added drop by drop from pipette.
