Grazie Mille Manu! We leave for Italy October 19. My mother was from Naples, so I will be meeting many of my relatives for the first time. I am learning so much from these lessons!
Ciao Manu! You are an absolutely amazing teacher, very blessed for finding you. Questions please. 1. Is there an easy way to know when a word has 2 consecutive consonants? I struggle with that. Example: penna, letttura, scriptural, etc 2. Easy way to know when words do not separate from each other? Examples: buongiorno, buonasera, buonanotte vs Buon pomeriggio GRAZIE MILLE!
Ciao! Thank you so much for your kind words, we truly appreciate them! ❤ We are gathering all the questions and Manu will record a video and answer all of them 😀
For most all Western speakers, we know this about Spanish and Italian verbs. But I can imagine this video is absolutely gold for any Eastern speaker learning Italian. Excellent resource!
I'm so happy I found this channel and your awesome podcast! I just started listening while doing the dishes and was happy to recognize more words than I expected, even at this very beginner level. What a beautiful language, so very musical. I could listen to you talk all day! Mille grazie, Manu!
This course together with Language Transfers' introduction to Italian has really started to give me more confidence in my ability to learn a language which I spectacularly failed at many years ago when trying to learn French in school. Thank you so much. :)
This is so helpful! I wish I'd found you sooner Manu. I can say a lot of things in Italian, but I never learned why. It was all listening, repeating, and then recalling. It worked well, and I could build sentences fairly easy, but I learned none of the rules. And none of the spelling. I'm learning I've been picturing words all wrong! I knew to say Lei for formal "you" (I thought it was spelled "le"), but I didn't know it is kind of like talking to someone in third person. I like how you break things down in a very simple way. Thank you for such excellent and entertaining lessons

As a native russian speaker, using 6 cases, 3 conjugations and 3 genders in the language, person who's professional in English, i smiled when i heard that italian verbs are hard.
English is my second language and Italian is third. And I’m mostly learn Italian by watching videos in English which helps me practice English as well. But sometimes I am confused: do I concentrate on English or Italian right now 😅

Wonderful! Enjoy Italy and enjoy our course 🤓
When you said there were 3 groups of verbs, I had strong Spanish déjà vu.
Well, Spanish is very close (closest?) relative to Italian so no wonder.
@@rokkirenttu Outside of being Romance languages, the two aren't that closely related. Italian is closer to Catalan and Romanian than Spanish.
@@rokkirenttuyes, spanish and portuguese are very similar to italian (

I eat. Ist, 2nd and 3rd person singular and 1st, 2nd and 3rd person plural.

Italian is easy. I'm carpatho-ruthenia and in school I learned ukrainian. So we have 7 different form of noun + 3 form on verb + adjectives...
Does anyone have a list of the groups of verbs?

People: Italian verbs are so scary cause you have to conjugate them
Meanwhile people who study German: It cannot be that scary😃
😂 so true!
Grazie a te i verbi italiani non sono difficili!
difficili
@@carminelasco5049 Grazie ma lo so… solo un ‘typo’
Hi, as a French native speaker, I think this is easier for me to understand the conjugation of Italian verbs ...
Do you agree with that point of view ? 🤔
Ciao! Of course it will be easier for you to understand the concept of conjugation, and also other concepts like grammatical gender! You'll do great 💪
@Italy Made Easy I have to because I want to go to Italy for an exchange year in two years so I really have to work on it 🙃
That's the spirit!😍
I am Welsh, so I am having to switch off my English brain as it's then easier to follow! 😂❤
🎉🎉

Si

Italian is the easiest language on the planet
Really, Deibi? 😊

No rote drills! Read some language acquisition research.
A me, pronomi italiani sono piu difficile, piu allarmante, di verbi italiani. 🤷🏼♀️
Ognuno ha le proprie difficoltà, ma con un po' di esercizio tutto è possibile! 🥰 continua così!
Me who knows French:

Grazie Gold 🥰 we are so happy to have you on board!
