This course is a great review of Beginner Italian 1 on Italy Made Easy! Don't get me wrong, in no way is it a replacement to the course, but great to watch when I have a few minutes to really make sure everything sticks. I love that you include pets in the 'tu' conjugation, as I practice most of my Italian talking to my cats, lol. Perhaps I should start speaking to them formally sometimes so I am prepared if needed!
Manu, I just discovered your videos, and I love them all!
Thank you Katherine! We are glad you like them and we love having you here 🥰
Very cool! In this lesson my it all really started to make sense. Cant wait until lesson 30!

Thank you, Manu 🤗 you explain it so simple and interestingly 😊😊
Thank you for being here! We are very glad this video was helpful for you ❤️
Polish native speaker here 😊 it's awesome how Italian is similar to Polish when it comes to gramma, formal/informal language etc. So much easier for learning 😊
Love it!!!!Thank you for the valuable tips 😀
You are so welcome!
I just started the series and like the way you explain things while keeping it simple! My native language is French so I'm already familiar with the concept of conjugation, however I have a question: What do you use if you want to be formal but there are more than one person? Do you have to use "loro", or can you just go with "voi" ?
Glad you like them! We use "voi" for a situation with more than a person if we are referring directly to them :)
Thanks for your help!
Our pleasure Naomi! Enjoy the mini-course 😍
True, at point 4:04 in English the Present Progressive for the future if something is "Planned". There isn't a Future Structure in English like there is in French for instance.
As my English Teacher used to say, "There is no Future" in English. It is a tense that is contructed in fact in 4 ways.
Fantastico! We can see that you are also passionate about languages like us 😁
I know I'm watching all this. But it's rlly not sinking into my head
I have been studying a long time but this was very helpful for conjugating verbs.
🙏
Perfetto! Grazie Manu 💕

Io capisco un po l’italiano ! Practice practice practice:)
Esatto! La pratica rende perfetti 💪🥰🇮🇹
Hi Manu, I’m currently in the process of watching all the lessons which I’m really enjoying. I have just one question if that’s okay ? When you say “Io parlo” is this the same as “I’m speaking”?
I understand it means “I speak”. But is there a different way to say it including the “ing”
Grazie Mille
Ciao Fezza! We also have a progressive form in Italian:
"Io sto parlando" 😊
Although, in most cases, "Io parlo" translates both "I speak" and "I'm speaking" 🤗
❤❤❤❤❤
ottimo insegnante
Why are some Loro end with ano and some end amo? Is it because the first verb is o not A or E?
fatto ✅
wonderful, Maria! 🤩
Ciao Manu 👋
Hello Emmanuel please help me to learn how speak in Italian
Ciao! We hope you are enjoying our Mini Course Harry 🤓💯
Ciao! Every day for a month, a new lesson will be published on our UA-cam Channel 😁 Follow every lesson and at the end you will speak in Italian for sure! 😁
@@italymadeeasy I am thank you I was struggling where do start thank you for the guidance. 😊
This language app I used said lei meant do you.
Mi sento privilegiato a sapere tutto questo senza sforzo 😂
Every day I'm surprised that Italian is too similar to the Serbian.
How can I join in ur coin
How can I join your course
This is all good, but why is he not giving us any Italian in the examples of concepts? Why so spare on the Italian? There are amazingly long periods where he doesn't speak a single word of Italian.
Ciao and thanks for your comment! Our method at "Italy Made Easy" stands by teaching Italian in English. Many may argue that teaching in Italian helps improving listening and comprehension skills, but with many years of Manu's experience in teaching Italian we came to the conclusion that students shouldn't practise "listening skills" with important grammar information they need to understand and memorise. We offer specific content in Italian to help students develop their listening comprehension, you can find a playlist "Video 100% in Italian (with subtitles)" on our channel with content specifically created with this purpose in mind: ua-cam.com/video/ZE-oHrqGqPw/v-deo.html
We hope you will find it useful 🇮🇹
I wish sometimes you would just get on with it.
Il mio primo giorno studio Italiano.
Benvenuto!! 😍🥰
Great lesson !
Thanks Miriam! We are very glad you liked it 🤗
Grazie!!!!
Grazie a te!
MANU THANKS so much for striving to make it simple for us and to show us patterns. TIP: for the O I always pictured a big circle around myself, like a bubble. And for he/she- the letter i looks like a finger pointing and a fingernail - silly image makes me think of pointing to ONE PERSON- he/she!
Ciao! Thank you so much for following us and making this journey even better by staying with us! We love the way you create connections to memorize new words, that's the right spirit! Keep it up! 😊❤
ciao Kaelyn! no one is hopeless, you can do it! 💪 thank you for being here ❤️
Manu! After several years of working with Duolingo, then Living Languages, and Rosetta Stone, after watching this lesson I finally understood Italian present tense verbs! I was so excited I grabbed a notebook, started the lesson over and took detailed notes!
I know many people don't like grammar, but I am a full-time writer and author; grammar is one of the tools of my trade. Understanding the grammar rules helps me learn the language. 😁😁😁
That's wonderful Paula! We are glad we made you even more excited about the Italian grammar! 😍
Really? You're saying those excellent language companies didn't explain Italian verbs? Come on.
@@organboi I wish I was joking, but nope. Most of those 'excellent language companies' teach through immersion only. After this lesson, I signed up for Manu's Italy Made Easy program. Manu teaches a comprehensive language program that is understandable. It has been the best program I have ever used and worth every penny. I recommend it to all my friends who want to learn Italian.
I like this session 11 ,Very much ,Very interesting and informative,Thanks Very much Manu 👍🙏
That's so nice of you, thank you!😍
ur a great teacher honestly.. u make learning so easy thank uuu!
Thanks! We really appreciate your sweet feedback ❤️
If you could speak in italian for examples would be helpful.
Ciao! We have a playlist of videos in Italian if you'd like to practice your listening and comprehension skills 🤗 ua-cam.com/video/ZE-oHrqGqPw/v-deo.html
You make it so easy to learn Italian, as Spanish being my first language it is easier for me to understand, but I needed the basic of conjugations, pronouns. Hopefully I will be able to communicate easily next time I go to Italy. Grazie mille.
Grazie mille Manu. Imparo Spagnolo e Italiano.
I’ve been learning Spanish for a while and this concept is the same so I understand it (hopefully). Still a very helpful lesson explained very well 😃
Thank you, Steve! We really appreciate your feedback!🥰
You are a great teacher. I enjoy your method and I am learning with you. I signed on to an introduction to Italian at Cardiff University. Two hours a week for 28 weeks. Just for your amazement that cost about £300. The course ends next Easter after which I think I’ll invest in one of your courses Manu. Grazie Richard
Thank you so much Richard for you kind words. We are here to welcome you and to guide you through the journey of learning the Italian language. Grazie! 😍
Thank You Sir Manu🙏🏽
Always welcome!
Perfecto 😍
Meraviglioso!
You are very clear. Are there many Italian dialects?
How many languages can one learn well at the same time? 5 or 6
As a spanish speaker myself... Whenever you say "you never stress the ano" I can't help jiggle a bit
Thank you. This finally explains to me why French folks here in Canada (Quebec French) who haven't mastered English, talk in the present tense (although in their defense a LOT more French folks speak English, than English speak French).
🤗 thank you, Lee!
1, 2, 3 person singular and plural
I love how you just say "Don't stress ano" hahahaha sneaky
In German it is a bit similar.
You need grammar.
Grazie, I'm start taking language course in perugia three weeks ago and this video is very helpful
Grazie a TE and congratulations for your course in Perugia, well done 💯🤓

Lei/lui/lei . I know the first two mean he and she. How about the third one? You sir/ madam? What does that mean? A polite singular you?
ciao Lulu, ottima domanda! yes, for polite/formal language we use "Lei", it behaves like a 3rd person singular. ☺️
Grazie mille Manu!
Is Loro used for "they" masculine and feminine?
ciao! yes 🤗
What is the reason for guardiamo noi as compared to noi guardiamo?
Ciao Julie, we are gathering all students' questions and Manu will answer them in a video 😍
