This course is a great review of Beginner Italian 1 on Italy Made Easy! Don't get me wrong, in no way is it a replacement to the course, but great to watch when I have a few minutes to really make sure everything sticks. I love that you include pets in the 'tu' conjugation, as I practice most of my Italian talking to my cats, lol. Perhaps I should start speaking to them formally sometimes so I am prepared if needed!

I just started the series and like the way you explain things while keeping it simple! My native language is French so I'm already familiar with the concept of conjugation, however I have a question: What do you use if you want to be formal but there are more than one person? Do you have to use "loro", or can you just go with "voi" ?

    • @italymadeeasy

True, at point 4:04 in English the Present Progressive for the future if something is "Planned". There isn't a Future Structure in English like there is in French for instance.
As my English Teacher used to say, "There is no Future" in English. It is a tense that is contructed in fact in 4 ways.

Ciao and thanks for your comment! Our method at "Italy Made Easy" stands by teaching Italian in English. Many may argue that teaching in Italian helps improving listening and comprehension skills, but with many years of Manu's experience in teaching Italian we came to the conclusion that students shouldn't practise "listening skills" with important grammar information they need to understand and memorise. We offer specific content in Italian to help students develop their listening comprehension, you can find a playlist "Video 100% in Italian (with subtitles)" on our channel with content specifically created with this purpose in mind: ua-cam.com/video/ZE-oHrqGqPw/v-deo.html
