Glad to see a dedicated video for this thrifty RO kit, you might remember my comment from one of the Q&A streams. Been using it for over a month no problem, def a game changer for less than a bill.
I've run about 100 gallons through mine and it has always read the same pH and zero PPM, zero issues. I have extremely hard water as my well is near the most polluted stream in my County, and it turns my shower yellow in a matter of weeks. The filter is a trooper.

I definitely need an RO system, where I’m growing in germany the PPM of the tap water is 700, I can barley put any nutrients in without the PPM going way to high

I got the aquatic life buddy 75 like a year ago and added the extra filter for chloramine. Has worked perfectly for me, except for every time it's done filling the tank and the float valve shuts it off the whole thing vibrates for 2 seconds ,and makes a rumbling noise, then continues that like every 5 minutes for eternity.
That said, it gives me really clean water, like zero PPM every single time. Works great.

Great videos as always! Question: do you put a small water pump in the reservoir to keep the water moving around? Or do you leave it stagnant?
No I dont. Some use air stones, I never do.
@@BassdropkeysYFNN thank you for getting back to me. I’m thinking about using an air stone because the nutrients tend to build up at the bottom. Even when I mix thoroughly.

It's so slow
Mine came with a float valve and I have it draining into a 22 gallon barrel and it fills up overnight easily. Don't stand there and watch it, you'll go crazy
