- Today, I am unboxing and setting up the Terraform 7 from AC Infinity. A next-gen environmental control unit designed to maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels for successful indoor plant growth. This all-in-one air conditioner not only cools, but also can be configured to heat or dehumidify your grow space to deliver total environmental control. Not as energy efficient as a wall AC. But the other features are nice. That said if you have your temperature and humidity already in check the VPD should already be in check.
Thats gonna hurt my pocketbook.

@@sudanwilliams2350 depending on room size and where your window is a window unit from walmart or home depot will help cool... most portable ac make a lot of heat but i still want to try this ac infinty to see the heat output on it ... unfortunately dont want anything blowing out of window so currently always cooling the whole house with the normal home ac

Amazing piece of machinery!
If you use this to cool a tent located INSIDE a room, you had better make 100% sure that you thermally insulate the A/C heat exhaust pipe ALL the way to the window vent with something like a glassmat/mylar heat insulating sleeve. Otherwise, when that A/C unit makes any cold air, it will heat up the room’s air at the same time simply by radiating heat from that exhaust pipeThey can get very hot depending on the situation. 🔥
The longer that exhaust pipe is, the more it heats up the room. That is inefficient use of electricity $. Also, depending on the length of the exhaust hose, adding an in-line booster fan just before the window (before the heat exhaust exit) will increase exhaust flow efficiency and extend the life of the AC unit by lowering it’s operating temps. In hot climates, expect that OEM window vent plastic part to deform. Make yourself a better, heat-proof rigid window vent frame out of 1/2” plywood with foam tape seals, and pop riveted metal flanges for the hoses.

How long does it take to cool your tent to you specified temperature? And how often is it starting the compressor to maintain this temperature?

You’re removing the inline fan, right? Else, it would be like running the ac in the car with the windows down.

What do you mean by triggers?
When you set up the parameters for the temp, humidity, or vpd the machine will automatically trigger on and off based on what you program

Bruh this thing is almost bigger then a person lmao. I have no room for this machine so wont be getting this sadly but looks bad ass. Plus im not paying almost 700$ thats more then my hole grow set up. Plus i can get everything this clams for cheaper so 😅
why does every part have to be so damn expensive when it comes to growing? what normal working person can afford that? I don't even want to know what that costs in terms of electricity. It's like with video games. Triple A games cost endless amounts of money, not to mention the addons that cost money again, then an indy game like Helldivers 2 comes out and fucks everything. Fuck you industry. We're making our own indy AC's
Work harder and earn more coin then. Or work a better job that pays higher man, I earn 1100 a day but I work my ass off 13 hr days on 85 an hour. I have a trade under my belt. So If the product is worth it I'll get it. Its a long term appliance that will benefit you alot especially as I live in a hot an high humidity area, plenty of normal working people as you put it can afford it. Budget and save up for it even if it takes ya 3 months. Time it from ya veg and have it ready for the flower cycle. Man a portable ac unit by itself is around 500 bucks plus. This thing does so many functions for 700 bucks, ac an a dehumidifier buying separate is easily 1000 bucks 😂😂😂 and you can't even run it in a system with the tent. I can control that from 1000kms away it's a no brainer. All you'd have to get is a humidifier which pretty sure ac infinity has that and look after ya setup ya could get 10 yrs out of it I'm sure there's warranty too or any dramas you could work out with them to replace. And I have a family and bills too bra just like every other adult so you can do it too.

What is the SEER rating?
Probably crap since they don't list it. I'll stick with a newer wall unit and separate Dehumidifier
