- 10 YEARS and a lot of memories since my first viral video dancing to Happy by Pharrell and Velvet Hammer! Thankyou so much to each and every on of you for all the support you given me over the years, it has been a rollercoaster! Sharing Northern Soul to the world is my mission ❤️

I’m just up the road in Kingswood and loved seeing the strange juxtaposition of Staple Hill and Northern Soul dancing. As a former Bristol dj who always struggled to get good quality soulful music heard in the right places around town it’s great to see what you and your success have done for the now thriving Bristol soul scene. The original video is lovely, you bring the street alive really organically. The way those skater kids and doing tricks behind you, and then that old dude joins in for a dance off. I smile every time I see it.

I stumbled across your first video at about the time of the time it was uploaded, which reignited my interest in northern soul I was a few years too young to go to Wigan casino before it closed it doors in 1981, I had school friends with older brothers who used to go and the venue had a certain status, thanks to UA-cam I now know what it was all about, your first video was very simple but very memorable, keep it going it’s great to be passionate about something

You nay not recall this but my son showed me that clip and told me that you and I nearly collided on one of your takes for that video, whilst he and I were walking along Staple Hill High Street. You sprang out from the side of the library and nearly came a cropper over my white stick. Of course I didn’t realise I was present at the making of a historical moment at the time. 😊
It was a funny day - had a few moments like that - may even have that moment on camera - I have the old clips somewhere thanks for sharing the story haha!
