- We’ve created a ready-made showfile that reduces the time it takes to setup your console for a new stage layout to almost nothing.
In creating the MA3 Template Showfile, we’ve taken the intuitive concept of the “push of a button” Color Picker Generator, and tried to expand it to an entire show, spanning positions, intensity effects, movement effects and much more.
We’ve made all these features available in ready-to-go, but easily customizable layout views, a button and fader layout, as well as a structured and easy to handle scheme for all pool objects. Both the layout views and the hardware layouts are ready for MA3 consoles and command wing setups.

I have this show file and I have to say it's amazing,very well thought out , complex yet still easy to understand !! It's worth every penny and then some !

yo hey man i've been attempting to build my own show file however I am struggling with the Effect size faders any help would be amazing

Sure, let me give you the following example:
- build a relative position fx, for example a circle
- store another seq, containing only relative values for pan and tilt with a relative value of 0.0001 (0.0 does not work at the moment, it is a know MA3 bug)
- run your fx and use the other seq with a temp fader to control the size :-)

thanks for your comment and the question.
The color picker plugin is integrated into the showfile, so there is no need to buy it separately.
The only exception is if you want to use the color picker plugin in another showfile.
Then it is probably easier to buy the plugin separately.
You could also try to export the plugin from the show file, but this integrated plugin behaves a little differently and the appearances will probably be missing.

When you buy the showfile. Is it always supported for new additions, or do i need to buy it with every update?

As long as the basic idea of the showfile makes sense in the MA3 world, we will keep pushing the whole thing and deliver updates for free.
As for example now with the Color FX in version 1.3.2 :-)
Extremely complex new functions or special add-ons may be available separately or in a Pro version. But here we have nothing planned yet.
Wie kann ich Capture mit GrandMA3 verbinden?

hier gibt es grundsätzlich zwei Möglichkeiten.
Über ArtNet oder MANet.
Beides geht erfordert aber entweder reale freigeschaltete Parameter (also z.B. durch ein MA3 Pult / ein MA3 Node) oder einen MA3 VizKey, mit dem man beliebig viele Parameter für die Visualisierungssoftware bekommt.
Wir lösen es eigentlich immer über MANet.
Capture wird, wenn richtig konfiguriert, dann einfach der Session joinen.
Das geht auch auf dem selben PC / Mac mit der LoopBack IP :-)
Bei der Variante über ArtNet musst du MA3 eben so konfigurieren, dass auch entsprechende ArtNet Universen ausgegeben werden.

We usually only work with MA systems.
We are not planning any videos on other consoles at the moment, as we are not very familiar with them.
But we might do a performance test of Capture with different hardware setups soon.
Will you be releasing a tutorial on using multi-instances with this file?

Yes, this is planned.
We we also add more fixture categories (a total of 8) and adapt the initial patch in an update planned for this winter.
There we will directly show how we work with JDC 1 / JDC Line / and all those complex fixture types.

Unfortunately it's quite a lot of work for us to push the file and even more work to create videos and co.
Since we are based in Germany, we also have to offer prices that correspond to the level in Germany and the prices for MA3 systems are not much different in Turkey.
Or are we missing something here?

According to our system, you did not even buy the file. Therefore you can hardly know whether it is worth it. That seems pretty unsubstantiated to us.
If you are still of the opinion that it makes absolutely no sense, then simply write to us why exactly you feel that way.
