I like your Dodge Charger RT! I have just got the 2012 Dodge Charger RT in Oct of 2018. These cars to me look super awesome! I've been wanting one every since 2011 when this Charger body style came out. I like the 2011-2014 Chargers better then the 2015s and newer. They look better. I feel like I'm driving the best looking sedan on the road over everybody else! I also love the looks of the Chrysler 300 of the 2011-2014 body Styles.

Great video, thank you. Got the "plus" trim that year with some parts from '11 Mopar Edition. 2014 Dodge Charger R/T, powerful it is. V8 engine, it possesses, roaring like a panther it can. Sleek design, muscle car lineage, it carries. Speed and agility, surprising for its size. Inside, spacious cockpit, comfort it offers. Technology, modern, but echoes of past, it has. Definitively Charger R/T, a legend it is.

I keep watching 2014 Dodge charger RT reviews all over the internet. I got the same car but in Metallic Granite back in July. Im finishing up a deployment (20 days left), my wife picked it up for me. I'm going on a long road trip. I can't wait to test out the car. I too go rid of my truck (1500 Ram- hemi) because it just didnt service its purpose anymore. I'm excited for my charger. I really don't under stand why people ghettofy chargers, they look great as is. I dont need 26" chrome rims on my car, thats impractical and plus im not a retarded gangster.

How is the charger, currently looking at 2014 R/T like this, How is the build and how can it compare to a mustang or BMW such as the 435i
Mine has about 5,000 miles and so far everything has been GREAT! The build quality is a huge step-up from 2014 and under mustangs. The 2015+ mustangs look pretty nice but I would need to personally check it out to compare them. As for BMW's: The build quality of the Charger is pretty rock solid, not too much room for anywhere on the car in my opinion. BMW's are known for being nice and luxurious so I would think they'd be "higher quality" but once again I would need to personally check one out in person. Go to a dealership and take a look! I think you'll be quite impressed, I definitely was.

hey I had a question rp when it kicks into eco mode does it make a buzzing sound an then when u step on gas an get off eco the buzzing sound goes away did u have that with your 2014 dodge charger?
No not really! I couldn't really tell it was in eco mode when I had the stock exhaust on the car. Once I put the magnaflow's on there were random times it would kinda make the noise but then it would quickly go away.

I remember in one of your vids you saying you use something in your tank that gives you like 5 more mpg, can you remind me what it was?

What made you go from an F-150 to a Charger? Reason I ask is because I am in the market for either a truck or a charger and don't know what to choose. I would need a crew cab because I always have people in my cars and in the future for kids. That is also why I'm attracted to the charger because of the engine capability and the 4 doors.
untouched92 I didn't really use the bed of my truck much and they aren't the most maneuverable things on the road so daily driving it was kind of pointless and not practical. I wanted something with a nice sized back seat because I'm always driving people places and wanted something sporty. The charger has been plenty of space for me and I REALLY enjoy it. My truck was great but just doing simple driving around town was a waste of space/gas. I've owned my car for about a year and to this day it still makes me smile when I get in, and to me that's how you know you bought the right car. Either choice they're both great vehicles but it depends if you like going fast and agile or spacious and tanky.

Bruh I'm so so so so confused idk what mine is but I thought an 2014 dodge charger RT awd blacktop edition but it's all leather interior not cloth seats, an idk the car I love it but I'm worried an confused, confused on what I really have and what it's worth an to upgrade or not and how lol, but also worried bc I want the best I am an ex addict and I have a good job and just wanna better myself and have the sweetest deal as anyone else and or Idc I don't mind grinding so damn hard to have something finally Cherisj after never having anything

I have a '13 R/T Max with 16K miles on it. As a father of two, I think this is such a great value. I couldn't come to grips with driving a mundane Altima, Camry, Accord. This car has that fun factor and is practical at the same time.
I understand where you coming from, I just cannot compare the RT trim with other competitors. Now if we were dealing with the V6, than there will be options to compromise. After 16K miles have you had any issues, or problems?

That great news, I am curious because I am in the market for one, and I can really save some money by checking out those remaining '14 RTs. The '15 RT is still iffy for me, body wise, but the '15 scat pack changes that for me. But being a family man as well, I think the RT's fit my budget. How has your mpg been since you had it?
The MPGs on this car is not good. In the city I get about 13-14 mpg and on the hwy about 19 mpg. Don't be fooled by what others say, this car does suck down gas.

wheres a good place where i can research and find out the prices of the diffrent chargers? I work and go to school right now just looking to upgrade from my old camry into a charger. Had a 2011 jeep that had transmission problems the dealership lent us a 2012 dodge charger se for about a month. I feel in love! right now im stuck in this 01 camry that keeps having stupid little problems. Any advice on price i should paying or what steps i should take for getting a charger 2011-14 ANYONE CAN RESPOND!
YGOSupreme Honestly man just search every used car website and check them all out. Price will depend on options of course but just make sure the car is in good condition. Cars.com or Autotrader.com should be a good start, search around for a bit and you'll find what you're looking for!

Black doesn't really stand out does it? You really have to look closely to see all the body work and detail
In person you can tell a lot more but on videos and pictures it is hard to see the details. I have had multiple people come up to me and tell me that it looks so much better in person. Cameras have a hard time with the black that has a "mirror" effect.

Do all rt's have paddle shifters?
I believe it is just on some of the "sport" packages such as the Blacktop. Not exactly sure.

+dsalaz04 Well lately it's been around $40 but it all depends on gas prices since they change so frequently.
does this car also have the option to change drive modes? (sport, eco, etc.)
Sport mode is a button located on the Nav screen (as briefly seen at 6:20), eco mode is engaged any time the car is at a constant speed or decelerating. Basically eco mode shuts down 4 of the cylinders and you can simply cruise with the other 4 without even noticing you're missing "half of your engine." In order to turn this off you can use the paddle shifters or use "slap-shift" with the center console gear shifter leaving you in total control of everything. In conclusion you pretty much have your normal driving mode and the sport mode.

HailStorm 43 me to in had the chance to pick this same model or a 2017 rt charger and I chose the 2014 rt black top car had only 60k miles and it was a rental car and I got a real good deal on it and I had it for about two weeks and I already love the car

Becuase the SXT and SE get the cheap ugly screen while the R/T and up get this screen
X Kyle. I want the 2015 look and features with the 2014. I dont like how the front is shaped is looks weird, but the 2015 looks so sexy if i kan find 1 under 12000 i would get it
@@mozzy917 in my opinion I would only get at 2015+ charger if it was a scatpack, Daytona, or SRT. The 2015+ se , r/t and sxt are ugly and weak looking . I'd choose a 2011-14 charger r/t any day over a 15+ . I'm looking into a nice 2011 r/t right now . But I dont know about under 12k for a 2015 and above just due to the fact 11's are still around 15 . Unless it has super high mileage

did any one noticed the gauges move while the car was off ?
I'm no engineering genius but I believe that was because the door had been open for a while and the battery was cutting power to the unnecessary functions to prevent your battery from going dead if you, for example, did not shut your car door all the way and went away for a while. When you first open the door the gauges get "primed" for the car starting and go back to their neutral location if the car is not started within a certain amount of time. Good eye though, didn't notice that on the video until now!

RT Chargers cost around 30k after rebates, negotiation, and taxes. Depends on the options and stuff you get with it.

How's the matinence & recommendations I have a road trip of about 900 miles how long would you drive on the car before resting her ? & the sound system ?
+kkwaw2193 I've put just over 23k miles on her as of writing this and they've all been perfect! The longest road trip I've done was 5-6 hours and it was still going strong! I don't think 900 miles would be an issue, the car is honestly a tank and has been perfect as far as maintenance/problems go! Just regular oil changes and check-ups at the dealership and all has been clear! The beats sound system, in my opinion, is VERY good. The treble is very crisp while the bass hits hard for only having an 8 inch sub. I'd highly recommend it!

There's not enough force for water to be sucked into it. I've driven through heavy rain many times and have checked it and it remains dry. The water is simply to heavy and just falls to the bottom of the car. The oil catch can is a great thing to have for the longevity of the car, you'll be surprised by how much stuff it catches!

That's very surprising, I've never heard of that happening. Although the Chargers air box is very deep so I think it's physically impossible for it to happen to these cars.
