Using hairpin legs you can build a simple and beautiful table quickly. Check out this "how to" video for some cool tips and tricks to make this job fun and easy.
Very well done, Sir. I especially appreciate showing the nice, and simple, method to divide a circle into thirds. It is obviously correct but I need to work out the geometric proof.
So long as Dave likes those legs I guess it's fine but they wouldn't be my choice! Oh well, different strokes... Enjoyed that Tom, especially the Bruce Hornsby style music. Thanks mate.
I really like your presentation. Very clean and neat. But for dividing the circle into 3 equal parts, wouldn't a protractor be more convenient? Y'know, like spacing each leg 120degrees apart.
Thanks Roger! You are correct. A protractor would also work. In hindsight, I guess a protractor would have been easier. Like I always say, "Why simplify things when a more complicated method will work" :-)

Very nice Sir, I made one similar to this for my wife a couple of months ago. Simple but elegant. Keep the vids coming. 👍🏼
Turned out great.
I like it. Good design.

Thanks Mark. Music is the free stuff from UA-cam. I'm too cheap to pay for any music.

So, Tom, how DO you know not to drill to far in? ;-)
Awesome video, and that top is gorgeous!
Thanks Eric.
Thanks this did help

What type/size of screws did you use to connect the legs to the wood?
I used the screws that came with the legs when I ordered them. They were pan head screws with a taper or "v" shape to sit perfectly into the holes.
@@AlleyPicked Thanks! Great video.
Why wouldn’t you use the same type of finish for the top and bottom?
You can. I was just in a hurry and the water based dries quicker.
What length were the legs
18". Bought from Amazon
